It was the next day as the time was seven thirty a.m, Alex and Anne made it to the Blacklight company as Winters and Ambrose entered the building, They both went on their separate ways as Winters was making her way to the elevator as she saw Benjamin and Margot walking past her as Anne waved at them.

Benjamin and Margot had a smile on their face and waved at her back as they walked away, Anne walked inside the elevator and clicked on the twentieth floor as she sighed to herself and thought something.

( Jonathan should have opened his office on a lower floor. )

Anne chuckled a little as she continued waiting until the elevator stopped at the twentieth floor as Winters walked out and made her way to the office.

She opened the door, and there was a strong smell of cigarettes as she coughed a little and saw Jonathan, who was leaning his back on the chair and was smoking a cigarette

Anne was staring at Jonathan as Crawford noticed her and stared at her as Winters gave a small smile to him.

Anne: Good morning, sir.

Jonathan: Morning, Miss Winters.

Anne couldn't help but admire him, up and down. She realised she was staring too much as Winters immediately looked away as Crawford was looking at her, Anne took a chair and sat down as She coughed by the smell of cigarettes.

It was silent between the two as Anne was starting to check out Jonathan a little while making sure it didn't look obvious, She did find him really attractive.

Anne: You know cigarettes are not good for you, Sir.

He looked at Anne and rolled his eyes as Anne stared at him before he spoke to her.

Jonathan: I know that, i usually smoke one pack or two.

Anne: Well, no smoking is usually better.

He just nodded and looked at Anne and began staring at her, He looked at the long black dress she was wearing, He bit his lip and looked directly at her legs before Jonathan said something to her.

Jonathan: Where did you get that dress from?

He spoke in a low tone as Anne looked at him in confusion and shock, The question caught her off guard as Winters spoke to him.

Anne: . . . E-Excuse me?

She stuttered a little as Jonathan grew a small smirk on his face, Anne began to feel her body and face warm up as He lit up the cigarette and answered her.

Jonathan: I would like to recommend that shop to a best friend, That's why

Anne: Well. . . I got it from Zara, actually.

Jonathan: I see, It looks beautiful.

Anne blushed a little and shook her head as Jonathan continued staring at her as Winters began thinking, "Was he trying to flirt with her, or was he just complimenting her, Whatever it was Anne did like it.

Jonathan received a message on his phone as He looked at the message before he looked at Anne and told Anne to open a file in the computer, Winters opened the computer and opened the file as Both her and Jonathan were reading the file together as Jonathan said something.

Jonathan: It's mentioning the prices of the different items.

Anne: Does the client want us to change the prices?

Jonathan: Yes, He wants us to lower it, but I'm thinking how much should we reduce it. . . Any suggestions?

Anne was gonna say something, but he slowly placed his hand on her arm, which shocked her but oddly felt comfortable by his soft touch.

Anne: I say we should reduce by twenty per cent.

Jonathan: Twenty per cent. . .

He repeated those words as he was thinking about the suggestion, Anne felt her body heat up again as Jonathan nodded and spoke to her.

Jonathan: I think you're right about that, I'll change the prices right now.

Anne: How about I do, Sir? I'm your assistant after all.

He looked at her and had a small smile on his face, Anne couldn't take her eyes off his smile as Crawford spoke to her.

Jonathan: I would appreciate it, You can find me at Benjamin's office if you have any questions or need any help.

Anne nodded as Jonathan continued staring at her and wanted to say something to Anne.

Jonathan: Should I open the air conditioner for you?

Anne: No, it's fine, sir.

Jonathan: Because I noticed your heating up.

Anne felt embarrassed as she bit her tongue and shook her head saying "No" He caressed her arm a little before getting up from his chair, grabbed his phone and left the office as Anne took a deep breath and sighed.

Anne: Maybe I should have opened the AC.

Winters began working on the file while reducing the prices by twenty per cent, but she couldn't stop thinking of Jonathan for some reason, She kept about the way he touched her and even imagined if he touched her in other places.

Anne realised what she was thinking about as she snapped out of her thoughts and continued working on the file while thinking about something.

( Okay, Anne, you're not a teenager. You are an adult, and you have an older daughter. Stop thinking about that. )

She chuckled and continued working, but those thoughts kept coming back to her head, Anne tried her best to focus on the file and get it done as soon as possible.

Later on, Anne was done with the file as She was making her way to Benjamin office while walking past the employees, She noticed the door was slightly open as Jonathan and Benjamin were having a discussion about work, Winters decided not to bother them as she waited outside.

Soon, Jonathan left the office and noticed Anne as She walked towards him and said something.

Jonathan: Hey Anne, You're already done with the file?

Anne: Yeah, I just want you to check the file before I send it.

He nodded as Anne began following him to the office as He fixed his suit coat, Both of them made it to the office as Jonathan was looking at the file while Anne was sitting next to him.

Jonathan: You finished it quite fast, I'm impressed.

Anne: *Smiles* Thank you, Sir. I don't call myself a professional, but I know how to use this software.

Jonathan: That's very nice.

He continued scrolling till the end as Jonathan looked at Anne before he got close to her as Winters looked at him, Jonathan could smell her hair perfume, and he felt like he wanted to get closer to her.

Jonathan: Did you make sure you didn't miss any?

She felt his hot breath hitting her hair as her toes curled up, His voice amused her a lot, Anne gave a kind smile and replied to him.

Anne: I double-checked it. It's all good.

He stared into her eyes for a few seconds before smiling and moved back to his chair, Anne felt odd when he wasn't close to her as Jonathan saved the file as Anne was looking at him.

Until she heard her phone ringing as Winters quickly opened her purse, Jonathan glanced at her purse and noticed a picture along with her phone.

It was Carriette, Anne looked at Jonathan as Crawford nodded his head, signaling her to take the phone call as Winters answered the call.

Anne: *On call* Hey Carriette, Is everything alright?

Carriette: Hey Mom! Well, I don't know how your gonna feel if I say this.

Anne: *Narrows her eyes* What did you do, Carrie?

Carriette: I didn't do anything, I kinda uhh. . . . Forgot my homework at home.

Anne: Seriously? I told you thrice to make sure to take your homework.

Carriette: I know mom, I'm sorry. It slipped out of my head. Can you talk to the teacher?

Anne: *Sighs* Okay, give her the phone.

Jonathan was hearing the conversation as Winters spoke to the teacher that she would give the homework tomorrow, The teacher said to Anne to make sure Carriette gave the homework tomorrow.

Anne continued speaking to her before hanging up the phone as Jonathan was looking at her, Winters sighed until she noticed Jonathan looking at her.

Anne: Sorry, can we continue?

Jonathan: It's fine, I already sent the file. Was that your daughter?

Anne: Yeah, She forgot her math homework at home again.

Winters chuckled as Jonathan smiled a little and spoke to Anne.

Jonathan: Typical students.

Anne: She doesn't always do that, I think this is the third time she has done that.

Winters put her phone back in the purse as Jonathan was looking at her, She looked at him and gave a small smile as He continued staring at her.

Soon, the day continued on as Anne was helping Jonathan with certain tasks, But Anne always unintentionally stares at him or gets close to him, She wasn't doing any of that yesterday, Anne wasn't sure what gotten into her today.

Soon, Winters was ready to leave work as She was grabbing her bag and messaged Emma about Carriette.

She closed her phone until she saw Jonathan walking towards her.

Jonathan: Thanks again for the help, Anne. I appreciate it.

Anne:*Smiles* Pleasure to help.

Jonathan: And Pleasure to meet you.

He had a small smirk on his face as Anne was staring at him before she smiled, Jonathan noticed Anne was staring at him too much as Winters quickly walked away as Jonathan was staring at her before he licked his lips and began thinking about her.

Meanwhile, Anne got inside Alex's car as Both of them were cracking jokes together as Alex began driving back home, While Alex was focusing on the road, Anne began thinking about her boss again, She couldn't stop thinking about him for some reason.

He really is making her feel something different.

She bit her lip and continued staring at the road.
