Hello, once again!

This week has been hectic, since half of it was exams and the other half was freedom.

I got a good amount of entries as well, which worried me because of how busy I was despite my freedom.

I had started to make a Christmas present for someone I really love, but it's extremely tedious and a lot of work.

Do you guys know what crochet (crow-shay) is?

So this is the present that I'm making (30% of it). Yes, I do exceed in the art of needles and thread.

Because Christmas is only a few days away and I still have to send this by mail (which will take 2 days, so this present is late anyways), I've been using all my time to make it.

But I was at one point wasting 4 hours of my life at a dealership yesterday, so I got to read all the submissions to pass the time xD

》Romance《
> This book right here rings some bells in my head, but I can't pinpoint why. Anyways, what I came to love about this story was the general idea of 'good boy gone bad and good girl needs to fix this.' We get to know the characters well, which allows us to build relationships with them (which in turn really helps to provoke emotions later on). It remains interesting throughout, and descriptive enough to give us vivid pictures.

》Short Story《
>You know, I always believe that stories that touch up on mental issues, suicide, depression, etc. should always be acknowledged. Even the shortest stories can really reach out to somebody. This particular one revolves mainly around bulimia - now I don't have bulimia, but a LOT of the story, I can relate to. And if I can relate, I'm quite sure someone else out there can. The parts are short, which have a suspenseful feel to them, and in my eyes, it kind of replicates the mentality of a broken person who doesn't really know what will happen. "What's next?" And that's an often-occuring question.

WHO ELSE IS EXCITED?!?!?!

Like, I've been waiting for this opportunity for God-knows-how-long, and it is finally here!

Because I have two weeks off for Winter Break (and I'm quite sure a good amount of judges have breaks as well around this time), it is the perfect time to start!

We have so many languages up and ready, a decent amount of judges, and I'm just itching to press the 'publish' button on the awards book.

I'm also trying to learn how to create stickers because I would love to see people with shiny new stickers on their covers!

Guys, you really just don't understand how excited I am to get this up and running. I don't know why all of this excitement comes up when I think about the awards, but it's a crazy feeling!

Maybe it's the fact that I'll be getting to know so many people?

Maybe I'll be giving people a real big push into the community by doing this?

Whatever it is, it makes me want to start already!!!

But in all due time, my friends, and we'll get this thing up and running!!

In the meantime, I am going to round up all the judges that have volunteered so far.
