Dedications #10

We've reached the 10th dedications!
You know what that means?
We've had 28 books win thus far (because the first dedication was one book)!

To everyone who has been in past dedications, you've done such a great job with your works, and I hope that if you have room for improvement, you take advantage of it and blow everyone's socks off their feet with your incredulous skills!

And for those who are in this dedications, you have become lucky to be in this particular dedications! Since it's the 10th dedications, let's make it somewhat special!

1st Place
♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤

SticksAndStones67 - Mending the Veil
》Paranormal《
>I believe this one deserves first place because of the outstanding writing. Not only that, but every sentence had you hooked into the story. The plot has a really nice build-up to it, and the cliffhangers are real!

2nd Place

EdoNaija4life - Which Girl? #Project Nigeria
》Teen Fiction《
> Talk about books that strike you with emotions! Have you guys ever read a book that had a part that made you extremely mad or anxious? This is one of those books, definitely! The culture of this book is different (because I have somewhat similar culture, I understand it perfectly), so it is pretty entertaining on the diversity aspect. I do recommend this one!

3rd Place

your_own_sunshine - My Microtales
》Short Story《
> This one is more of like two/three lined stories. The stories are pretty deep, but not only are they deep, most of them are accompanied by little 'talks' about touchy subjects that I'm quite sure we can appreciate are being addressed. Of course, whenever a person's well-being or mental state is reached out to in a story, it always deserves a shout out! You never know, there is that one person out there who needs to read something that would help calm their minds.

And that concludes this week's dedications! Congratulations on all three of you who have been chosen!

Now, because this is the 10th dedications, I have a small little Q&A for our winners! Go ahead and drop your answers in the inline comments.

1. What inspired you to write your books?

2. Has your book gone the way you intentionally wanted it to go, or did things change as you wrote along?

3. How long have you been on Wattpad for?

4. Do you enjoy writing the story you're currently working on?

5. Do you plan on making new stories after you finish your current ones?

And there you have it, folks!

Winners, I hope you are motivated to continue writing and to improve wherever it is needed.

It was a pleasure to read all of the stories that I did this week. I sure did become busy, but I somehow was able to get through a good amount. I hope everybody will get a chance to win, for there are a lot of people here on Wattpad the have amazing stories to share, but have no one to share them with.

Let's hope we can get many more submissions for next week.

●°•○☆ UPDATE ☆°•○●

Last week, I put up a Q&A for you guys, and I got a question in return ( sad because I wanted more ;( )

Honestly, I believe that the books that had a lot of time put into them would do great as real books. Books that have a lot of emotion, good grammar, and hooked chapters would. Some of my favorites to read would be Alpha Octavius by downrightdelinquents , The Sullivan Sisters by AprilT420 , The Music Teacher by jessica_klowala , and The Winter Masquerade by JadeHelik (which is you!). Books that I don't think would make it as real books would be stories that are too quick in their plot (not enough build up I mean), are not original enough, and show that the author does not care too much about what they are putting out there. But thank goodness, there are not too many stories out there that are uncared for!

You know, I really do love it when we get to know each other, and Q&As are REALLY fun to me, so it makes me happy when I get questions!

Never be afraid to ask away!

The awards will start around the end of December (if the FCC doesn't screw me over). I will put up the information and forms and all that, and judging will start somewhere in the middle of January.

Yes, dates and deadlines are already set up for me (because I do way too much planning)!

Remember, slots for judges are still open! Don't be afraid to volunteer, it isn't much of a process, I promise. It's as easy as "I wanna help!" No forms or anything like that if you volunteer here. Later on when the awards start, I'll ask you guys which genres/content you aren't comfortable with so that I can assign certain books to you guys.

With that being said, I also would like to say that Monday is a very special day for me.

It will be my 16th birthday.

Fun!

Now that everything has been addressed, I just want to wish every single one of you a safe and fantastic rest of your week!

Remember, we have the right to write!

P.s. This would have been updated late last night, but I fell asleep while writing this dedications xD
