Grace Xiu
I shouldn't be surprised that Jimin found out that I trashed his name to the paparazzi.
It's the paparazzi. They'll ruin your lives and make your life and the same time.
But did I really trash his name?
All I said was that he cheated on me...
Which is true.
Maybe he heard another rumor?
From someone else?
Not me?
"Grace." Jimin snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Uh, what?"
"You spaced out. Answer me." He said so roughly.
"All I said was that you cheated on me, Jimin. It's not like I lied." I leaned back and crossed my arms. "You're acting like I made up a story."
His jaw tightened. "I'm getting hate all over my feed, Grace. It's all because of what you said."
"Maybe you shouldn't have cheated, Jimin. Karma sucks, huh?"
Jimin was about to speak, but the sound of loud murmuring and cameras going off interrupted him.
"What the hell..." I widened my eyes.
A bunch of reporters and people were pressed against the Starbucks window with cameras and microphones.
"GRACE! ARE YOU BACK TOGETHER WITH JIMIN?!" One reporter screamed.
"JIMIN! DID GRACE FORGIVE YOU?!" Another one yelled.
"GRACIE! DON'T GET BACK WITH JIMIN! HE WAS A BAD BOYFRIEND!" One boy yelled and tapped on the glass.
Bruh.
I have fans?
"JIMINNIE! BE WITH ME! NOT WITH THAT GIRL WHO TRASHED YOUR HOUSE!" A girl yelled.
My mouth dropped.
Before I could process any more, Jimin grabbed my hand and he rushed out of the building.
"JIMIN! MY DRINK!" I cried out.
"Forget it!"
We were literally getting chased down the road with a crowd following us while screaming.
We turned a corner and ran into an empty warehouse.
Thankfully, we lost them.
Jimin ran hella fast.
"How did they find out about me trashing your house?" I asked him, still in total shock.
"I have a mouth too!" He snapped.
I ran a hand through my hair. "How did we get so famous anyways?"
Jimin turned away and messed with his hair. He didn't answer me, so I just shrugged it off.
"Jimin, is there something I don't know?" I leaned closer to him.
"I guess the fame builds up. We go to a lot of big parties and sometimes there's famous people at the parties. We get known." Jimin rubs the back of his neck.
"Hm. That explains why I got 10,000 followers on Instagram after going to the party with Miley Cyrus and Justin Beiber." I chuckled.
I didn't hang out with them, but I did give Miley a drink that got her drunk and watched Justin Bieber kiss 10 girls.
It was quiet between us now. Neither of us spoke or even looked at each other for a good 5 minutes.
When Jimin looked up at me, I turned to face him.
We were just staring at each other now.
It gave me time to process his face. He looks way more mature now. His features are more defined. His cheeks weren't as chubby anymore, which kind of made me sad. His lips are more plump and red too...
Lucky.
"Why did you throw dirt on my name?" He asks, snapping me out of my thoughts.
I shrugged. "They asked about you. What do I say? You hurt me and people should know."
"Why did they have to know?"
"Jimin, you cheated on me. Multiple times, I know that. I wasn't going to lie or go easy on your reputation. You deserve it." I gave him the cold shoulder.
I heard him sigh.
"I know I hurt you. I'm sorry." He apologizes in a shy kind of way.
"You apologize now? Wonderful." I scoff.
"Turn to me, Grace. Look at me." His hand lands on my arm.
"Jimin, I'm going to go-"
"That guy you met at the ball yesterday..." He was slow with his words, like he didn't want to talk about it.
"Seokjin? Seokjin Kim?" I faced him with a smile.
Seokjin's looks can bless my mind.
Jimin seemed off to see how I smiled at the thought of Seokjin.
"Are you two involved?" He asks.
"No. Not yet." I smirked.
"Alright. I'm gonna get going." Jimin stood up instantly.
He was about to walk away, but once we made eye contact again, he stayed in front of me.
He held a hand out and I grabbed it.
I brushed off my skirt and placed a hand on his arm.
"You seem chill about it." I giggled. "It's good to see you when you're not pissed off."
I was referring to our strange encounter at the ball, but I don't think he got it.
"Thanks for coming." He plainly said.
I nodded.
He came closer and kissed me on the forehead.
He turned around and walked away before I could yell at him.
I touched my forehead and smiled.
He still has feelings, doesn't he?
Oh, crap. Do I?
Nooooo.
=
"And before he left, he kissed me on the forehead!" I enthused with a finger pointing to where Jimin kissed me.
I was being so dramatic while recapping the entire story to Jasmine and Ashley.
"Not the cheek, but the forehead..." Jasmine took a sip of her iced water. "Interesting..."
"Can't believe you're famous." Ashley said with a mouthful of noodles. "You must be all over the social media right now."
"Don't talk with your mouth full, Ash. Cameras might be around." Jasmine teased.
"Do you think we're famous too?" Ashley asks once her noodles were gone. "We go to tons of parties too. Just not with boyfriends."
I shrugged. "Have a boyfriend that cheats on you. I'm sure you'll get some attention."
"Grace, do you think he still has feelings for you?" Jasmine asks, smile fading.
I sighed. "I don't know."
"Do you have feelings for him?" Ashley asks, mouth full of noodles again.
"Well, I just want attention. I don't want his heart. So what if he hates the thought of me with someone else? It's not my problem." I leaned back to my chair, shaking my head.
"But with Seokjin?" Jasmine cocks her head. "What about Seokjin?"
"I like him, ok!" I threw my arms up, ignoring looks from around the restaurant. "He hasn't asked me out yet.....or texted me...."
"He probably wants you to ask him." Ashley guesses.
"He should be the one to make the first move....I like it that way." I pouted.
*Beep Beep*
I pull out my phone to check the message.
Seokjin Kim: Hey
"What the noodles..." I covered my mouth.
I show Jasmine and Ashley the text.
Ashley laughs. "It's like he knows we were talking about him."
I break my neck looking around the restaurant for any cameras or any Seokjins.
"He isn't here, Grace. Relax." Jasmine giggles.
BOSS ASS BIOTCH: Hello
"His dad is a CEO. He must be in a well-mannered family. I have to fit in." I whisper to them. "What can I not say?"
"Who cares? You're with him, not his family. Just do you. I bet he'll like that way better." Jasmine says.
"Alright. Alright." I glance at my phone again.
Seokjin Kim: Let's have dinner tomorrow night :)
