Grayson staring at it completely terrified, it was nothing he'd expected, the scouts stood together on the walls in a line, Levi walked over to erwin and Donna "Commanders. He's about to climb. "Erwin's eyes everted from the titan swarm in front of them, and turned to the armoured titan bellow, looks like he was in a running stance, just then just like annie did when trying to escape, his hands hardened, Along with his toes, he then started sprinting forward towards the wall he dug his foot deep within it making a small amount of debris crumble "Soldiers! You are not too engaged the armoured titan! Maintain a safe distance. "He ordered "yes sir! "The scouts exclaimed in unison as the armoured titan started climbing his way up the wall

" hanji, Why doesn't commander Erwin have us attack? What are you thinking? " Eren asks

"The enemy prepared quite the welcome. He's watching the movements for now. Erwin doesn't want to act until he understands the strategy. "

as Erwin stares at the beast titan, he notices another one that was on its hands and legs like a dog, but what was confusing was the cargo on its back "that quadrupeds type has some kind of cargo on its back, which tells me that it didn't transform just now. It's also likely that this was the enemies scout. But for it to take notice of our approach and relay the information to Ryan... That must mean...'He then spoke out loud " they have one more intelligent titan. It's that quadruped type." He stared as levi pulled his hood up both him, violet and armin gasped " though there may well be others." He finishes

' that titan is carrying cargo. What could it be?' Armin wondered the beast titan Raised attend up, letting out a row before slamming it onto the ground making the commander gasp, It's absolute silence for a moment before the small Titans started charging forward towards the walls and the scouts " get ready!" Hanji yelled

"Multiple 2 to 3 meters approaching!" she announced 'This is just like the siege of utgard castle. They'll start by targeting the horses. Their primal objective is still to capture eren and violet.' The two looking down at the horses 'But towards that end, they intend to eliminate our only chance of escape.' Erwin thought

' as of five years ago, wall Maria's perimeter is deep in Titan territory. So, if they do wipe out our horses, will have no means of getting back. Not only would this block our escape route, it would cut off I will supply lines. It might take a week or a month, but there will come a point at which none of us can move. They'll for go The rest of a proper battle,and opt Instead to take eren and violet once they're too weak to resist. I'm sure of it now. The proof is in the fact that those larger Titans are still standing in formation. The only purpose is to prevent our retreat'

armin gasped when the armoured titan was getting pretty close " sure. What now? The armoured titan is almost up!" He yelled " Albert hasn't shown yet, but he must be nearby!"

" yes. I am well aware." The commander states 'At this point, the thing I fear most is that Ryan and Albert will reach our horses and slaughter them unchecked. Therefore....' Erwin lifted his head up slightly " you finally ready to say something Erwin? I Been waiting so long, I could've made breakfast." Levi states, Erwin turned and announced

"Dirk squad and Marlene squad, too! Join close squad and protect the horses at the gate!" Then then pointed his sword in the opposite direction" levi squad, Mike squad and hanji squad! I need you to take down the armoured titan. Employ the Thunder Spears at your own discretion. Do whatever it takes to achieve your objective! This is our moment. Our chance to strike. The fate of mankind depends on this battle! Laydown your hearts and lives... One final time, for humanity!"

"YES SIR!" They jumped off the wall on the ODM gear, klaus Turning to his squad " Hear that? We'll turn the tables on the Titans as they come for our horses!" He announced "SIR!"

'You're planning better work Latina' Zane thought, just as levi, Latina and armin were about to run off "hey. Hold on, you three
"Erwin's voice stopped all three of them in their tracks " hanji can read both your squads. I'm going to need you right here, Levi." He just stared at him " so I'll protect the horses instead of Eren and Latina?" he asked in his usal non chalant tone

"That's right. And when the chance arises, your strike him down." Erwin said, Watching his sword towards the beast "You're the only soldier I can trust to dispatch the beast titan."

" understood, sir. I wasn't fast enough to finish off the other armoured one earlier, but I'll atone for that by taking the beast Titans head." Levi said

" armin. I have a plan for the armoured Titan to. And I need you too Latina" she just stared at him in confusion "Uh sir" the two said

"We have to win on two fronts to secure victory. I can handle one. The other I'll leave to you in hanji" they both nodded

The armoured titan finally made its way to the top, looking out at the Titans in front of him. Watching the scouts move from Titans, then spotted the horses ' there they are. Gathered up in one place. I'll kill the horses and make a break for it. That's good enough. Then we'll find the princess. No matter how strong captain levi is, he still no match for our war chief.' He exhales as the broken blade in his neck was removed

' That was a close one. If I was any lower in transferring my consciousness to my body, I'd've died instantly' he then wondered ' how did they even think to check inside the walls?' He then though of that boy who protected the girl ' That boy. Was it him?... It doesn't matter now. Once this is done, our long journey will reach its end.'

He then gasped when he saw the commanders on the wall next to him just staring at him ' Erwin smith and Donna blitz. I can't let them distract me. I've got to kill those horses.' Just then there were two flashes of light behind him, he then goes when he saw eren's titan form and reiners armoured titan, and a certain redhead on Reiner shoulder ' Reiner! The princess! And eren jaeger! Why would they show up when they don't have to? They should be painfully aware that abducting eren jaeger and the princess is our main objective.' He then growled 'What are they thinking?'

The two then sprinted in the opposite direction ' Will they run south and climb over the wall? As a titan, they could circle around and escape to trust without a horse...Were that to happen, we'd have no reason to stay here and fight. Even if we did manage to annihilate the scouts,eren jaeger Mastered hardening in two months. We can't let him back in the walls! No way. If he learns how to harness the cordinates full power, we're finished!' He then thought of something 'Hold on. Somethings off here. If their goal really was to escape, they would have used Odm gear to scale the south wall. And then transformed. But instead they both transformed right in front of me, with the princess on reiners shoulder, in the centre of town.' He thought as the two continued running ' I get it. They diversions. They're trying to change my target from the horses to them!'

The two commanders then took off their hoods still staring at the titan in front of them, Ryan just smirked in his titan " you're not giving me any time to think, commanders. You clever bastards. makin me get down when I just climbed up.' He then skid down the walls with his hardening ability ' good. He went for it!' Eren though as the two kept running ' I've been waiting for this!' Reiner thought ' Time to bring the bastard down!'

Flashback

"He wants to use eren, Latina and Reiner as bait?" Hanji questioned, how long will the group was currently standing along the walls hearing the plan armin just delivered  "Yes, that was the commanders order." Armin says "Hold on. So he is willing to risk eren and Latina's capture just to protect the horses?!' Grayson exclaimed

"Your kidding. Even if we try it, do you wanna Ryan might just go after the horses anyway." Mikasa states

"No. I'm sure he'll chase them. If he does go after the horses, then the three can continue running north, and wrap around the beast Titans formation. With Levi, the scouts, Latina, Reiner and eren, they can catch the beast titan in a pincer attack." Hanji says "erwin Must've said as much himself, right?" She asked "Um, yes." Armin nodded "Even if things don't go as we hoped, the enemy doesn't expect the 3 to flee, so it might confuse them enough to get them to break ranks. Only question is can that Ryan guy see that far ahead?" Grayson questioned, he saw an expression on reiners face, but before he could say anything he beat him to it "Knowing that guy, he should work it out pretty quickly." Reiner says

"Okay. This is where I will bring down the other armoured titan." Hanji announces, as the group started walking away "Wait a second!" armin exclaimed causing the group to stop "There is one more factor we need to consider. He still hiding, but Albert must be nearby. The last time they fought, eren Outmanoeuvered Ryan and had him on the verge of defeat, But then Albert caught him with a surprise attack, and he ended up the captive.but then Albert caught him with a surprise attack, and he ended up the captive." He stated, eren wasn't happy about that memory "as a simple counter measure. Do what you can to keep the fight away from the walls. And Latina safe. We can't afford to let the enemy get their hands on her"

Flashback end

The two Titans then stopped, they looked at each other Before nodding and Reiner taking off, with Latina in his hand, she still stared in the direction of eren before Reiner ducked behind on of the buildings, covering  Latina's head slightly with his giant free hand

'It might have been a fluke' Latina watched as the two intelligent titans circled around each other, preparing to fight.

A small drop of sweat sliding down her forehead and stared worriedly 'But I've beaten you once before. And I'm stronger now. One-on-one, I can win. While Reiner keeps latina safe. ' he hardened his fists

' When it comes to hand-to-hand combat,  Annie's fighting technic, it makes you look down right weak.' Ryan's titan charged forward, he swung his fist, but eren dodges, Accidentally punching one of the roofs, he turnround crouch down and attempted to jump him but he dodged again, eren smacking his back and making him skid backwards, Ryan's titan push himself forward on charge right towards him again, he tried to land a punch but once again

eren dodged, and delivered a very strong punch to his face 'Do you have any idea where we're standing right now?' Most of the armour on his face cracked off, The memory of erens mother came back to his mind as he saw her getting eaten

' This place... Was my home. Was our home.! But them you stole it!' Erens titan let out a roar ' we are taking it back. And you can't stop us. I won't let you take Latina!' Meanwhile the others were preparing the weapon 'get in our way, and will slaughter you all!'

Meanwhile

"Recruits! Keep moving with the horses!" One of the scouts from the roofs shouted as the recruits moved the horses "We'll keep the Titans of your backs!" Another yelled as they zipped forward, Zane was with them keeping an eye on them and for trouble, he remembered what he and the others had vowed, to make sure everyone lived

"Hey Marlo!" The boy next to zane gasped and turned to floch "Huh?"

"Where do we tied the horses?" He questioned "We were told to avoid putting all of them in the same place. Just keep going, alright?" Marlo then turned to Zane "Right zane?" He asks which he nods "Right. Just follow my lead and you'll be okay"

"Two more small ones coming from the east!" A scout yelled, two titans were running in their direction "So those... are titans?" Marlo said " God dammit...piss off you dancing retards!" Zane yelled in anger

one guy actually covers his mouth from snorting, all of a sudden, With a spin, Levi suddenly appeared quickly killed both of the Titans then landing on the roof above them "It's Captain Levi!" Zane exclaimed

"Nows chance! Hurry now!" He ushered everybody out everyone out of there

"Finish killing the small ones already!" Levi yelled at the scouts. "Get it done before the beast Titan moves! And no casualties! Don't you dare get eaten." He said "Sir!" The scouts took off to kill the rest of the titans, he panted staring down the titans coming

"Shit. Who the hell am I kidding? These kids are going to drop like flies. Shoulda left em up there." He gazed towards Erwin and Donna's position ' we struggle against the smallest Titans now. The scouts have grown weak. Most of our veterans have been buried, burned, or...' he raised his sword slightly ' still, if not for the lives we sacrificed, we never would have made it half this far.' He remembered his fathers lessons, and his time as a cadet. ' when I was a cadet. I told the others about my fathers theory... My faith in it. I told him that once I was a scout, I would prove he was right. For once I actually joined the scouts, I stopped talking about it for some reason... No, that's wrong. It wasn't some reason... I'd realise something...But of all my brave comrades, only one was fighting for himself. They bled and died for each other, well I thought for a self dream. .. Then I came to lead my comrades. Gave them orders and inspiring words. Be brave. Give your hearts to humanity. I played them all for fools.... Myself, too...' then the thought of Donna screaming and her leg getting bitten off 'and my darling...And now, standing on this mountain of brave corpses.... I have quite the view... Still, Grisha's secret lingers in the back of my mind. Even if this plan should fail, there is a chance that I could still reach that cellar. Before I die, I'd like to see it. The truth of our world.'

Back to the fight

Eren delivers Another Punch to the armoured Titans face, which made him crash into one of the buildings, Ryan's titan grunted while trying to withstand the strong punch with his arms blocking his face ,but it was clear to eren that his armour was cracking "Those experiments paid off!" He punched him again, chips of the armor started breaking off 'These fists are all I need to beat you!' He finally delivered a punch straight to the face

' When I focus my hardening on one point, it gets stronger. Since his armor is spread across his whole body, I can smash it like thin ice!' The armoured titan tried to move forward and grab him, but eren held him by the head "You're too slow, you stupid oaf. You won't win!" Eren yelled in his titan body, Just done the armoured titan jumped forward to catching in by the foot

'Damnit no!' swinging him slamming him on top of a house roof, he lifted his titan body up, then slammed it onto the ground, making it for my large crater, his titan self was an unconscious though as he saw his eyes were open still glaring at him, he tried to do something, but eren grabbed his hand along with his other one, struggling too keep him away

Latina gasped 'Eren!' Reiner was glaring at Ryan's titan ' damn it! If I didn't have Latina to worry about! I'd charge in there and help!' Meanwhile the others saw what was happening "Eren needs our help!" Mikasa yelled

"Not yet! Everything right on our first attack! Need to wait and trust eren to give us a good opening." Hanji states "Seriously where is Drake, lizzy and Grayson?! Grayson was just here a few seconds ago, now he's gone!" Connie appeared next to them "He's apparently been called the messenger, he's given us until he can find, since his speed" Marco says

Back to eren, he was still struggling against the armoured titan, but remembered something the scouts had prepared for this, once it was time

Flashback

"Your new weapon is a big metal rod?" Eren asked, hanji was currently holding what looked like one, the scouts were crowding round the table that had the same spears laying on it "It's pointy,  Dumbass. That makes it a spear. The core of engineers really came through for me with this one. They've been going through a plethora Of technologies. Kept hidden by the interior police. And I told em that while they were at it, they should try to cook up a weapon that will work against the armoured titan."

"And that's what they came up with?" Armin asked "Our blades may as well have been made of paper against that armour of his. Or we could do in our last battle was watch eren fight the armoured tighten From the sidelines. " that image of the blade snap into tiny pieces came nack to mind "There Just aren't enough openings in the plating for us to cut through."

"True enough. Even at close range, we couldn't do anything to make him let eren go." Jean states "Back then, if the commander hadn't drawn that horde of titans towards the big guy..." Connie muttered about Ryan chasing them in reiners back, hanji continued with her speech

"Until now, the only attacks that've hurt this Ryan guy, Did supply working around his armour. I'm referring to erens grappling techniques." The memory of his hardening train came to his mind "Also, erens been experimenting with a new hardened punch. For which we have high hopes. With that said, if those were our soul weapons, the submission would be doomed to fail. It's vital that we plug the holes in the wall Maria, but what matters most here is that we eliminate Ryan and Albert, ensuring that they can't reach the wall again." She finishes, there was silence until mikasa spoke

"Okay, so what's the plan? We'll start the armoured titan with those spears?" She asked "Think I'll just show you." Hanji gestured with her finger "Let's go outside"

Outside

The loud thundering sound scared off a few birds, and was very loud some covered scouts their ears, But what was shocking to the scouts was the damage the weapon had done to one tree, it had exploded and literally snapped the tree making it fall over, but was also still on fire, hanji turned to the others smirking "Its powerful, as you can see. Not far from a lightning strike." Hanji connected odm launcher to the metal rode "Hence our calling them thunder Spears. There are good weapons, but are there enough to bring down the armoured titan? There is no way to be sure until we try. These contain normal tighten apart, but the real damage against the armoured tighten, it will take some extra work."

Flashback

Eren was still struggling against Ryan's titan, legs wrapped around his Torso, Ryan started managed to break free from his legs but then eren caught his arm in a arm lock, his head was slightly pushed onto the ground, He managed to swing his body up A little, letting out to yell still struggling, Ryan grunting in his titan form 'Shit!' Eren finally managed to throw his titan off him, rolling off and hitting his face into the ground, The others took this as a chance to sneak up on him, Ryan looking at him in his titan on form ' It doesn't look like biting him out of there is something I can handle by myself. Guess it's on to plan B.' His tighten so that's a small growl out, Hanji emerged from the corner from a further distance, zipping towards the armoured titan, shouting out to the others "Go! Now!" Ryan gasped when he herd her voice

'They're making a move?' He noticed most of them behind erens titan form ' I knew they've been gradually surrounding me, but....' he narrowed his eyes 'How exactly do they plan to hurt me?' He questioned in thought, not even moving away from them 'I've got hardened plate armour Covering every vital point of my body. The blades can't even scratch it.' Mikasa and Hanji had flown infront of him and aimed their spears right at his eyes, the two had crossed to the opposite side and got ready to attack, once they were in range both pulled the trigger and the sound of gas igniting followed by the sound of the spears rocketing forward. They had successfully pierced his eyes as the two sailed behind his head while he let out a roar of pain

'Did we do it?' Eren questioned "This just might work." Hanji muttered 'The Thunder Spears are so destructive, they pose a danger to those who fire them. If you anchored to the title itself and move in as if with your blade, you'll end up caught in the resulting explosion. Which means the only chance to use Thunder Spears is when the target is surrounded by multiple tall, solid structures, we can only attack with thunder spears in situations exactly like this. Right here right now, we have to end it!' Jean Sasha, Connie and Marco do the exact same thing as the other two did, launching their thunder spears at the armoured titan's nape, pulling away the strings, inside the rain starts and the cast has exploded with the same sound of gas igniting and the scene thundering sound, Connie yelped from the slight shock wave, But managed to stabilise himself

"Oh good! We've got him!" Jean yelled as they looked at the damaged nape "The spears worked! The armour on his name is in splinters now!" Connie skid onto one of the roofs "whoa..it really worked?" He questioned "We can actually do some damage!" Sasha  exclaimed

"Do it again!" Hanji yelled, making them turn to her " You still have a thunder spear. Use them to end this!" She growled "Come on guys! We said we'd do it if it ever came down to this! So let's go!" Jean yelled, The look of determination look up on the rise, they'll shot up, Yelling as they got ready for one final attack, grunting as They shot their final thunder Spears at his nape again, making him gasp

'no! I don't wanna die!'Same explosion, the armoured titan lets out a roar of pain
