In HQ

"Captain please wait! There's only a handful of us left sir.if the Titans were to attack here in force, We wouldn't have a chance in hell of holding them off!" A male soldier exclaimed " please, sir.we need you here!" A female soldier pleaded

"Out of my way soldier. We have to get going.my expertise is needed to help direct the reinforcements." The Commander demands, The coward soldiers stare at their coward Commander, "Behind the safety of the inner gate, am I right?" The same male asked, mad, the commander looked shocked " hey just what the hell are you implying? They need my help re-organising, Or would you rather us be overwhelmed due to the logistical nightmare!" He states, trying to cover up his plan, " but- but sir! If we lose those supplies—"that's enough!" He points his blade at the girl, making everyone stare at him in shock, "Question my orders again, or delaying me in my duties, and I'll run your treasonous hide straight through!" He snapped

Somewhere outside

Outside, Mikasa and Latina zipp up and land on top of a tower and scout the around until, they saw some people, "Why aren't they heading up the walls, didn't they hear the bell ring?" Latina wondered to Mikasa, who also asks the same question herself.

Mikasa looks to her left and gasps, Latina turned  gasp too.

The HQ was being swarmed with Titans, trying to grab the humans inside the building.

Inside

The soldiers, flipped tables over from seeing the Titans. One Girl peeks over the table to see a female Titan staring at her, "It's over.all over.we are doomed" she whispered sobbing, There were four soldiers were sitting on the floor as one was cleaning out a shotgun. A roar erupts, making the building shake and some glass breaking. They whimper more and curl up."there." The girl turned to the boy next to her, "cmon now. That's muskets Not enough to stop them"The boy puts the gun in his mouth " huh?"and pulls the trigger, blood, brains, and many more spewing out while they shriek with disgust.

Back outside

"Hey, Jean! What're we gonna do?" Connie demands, but Jean shakes his head, " we can't do anything.they finally gave us the order to withdraw... And we were all out of gas of course.I can't believe this is how it's going to end... Because of those dammed cowards!..."Jean muttered

"Y'mean the supply depot? What's going on? Where are they?" Connie asked "They all lost the will to fight.and I can understand why.but they abandoned their duty to suppliers barricading themselves inside HQ.and of course tidings have sworn to the place, which means we can't get the gas ourselves."

" then why're we waitin? We gotta go. Start learning the numbers so we have a chance! Sitting here on this roof is totally pointless! Eventually the Titans are going to come for us.we don't have much gas left, we'll just waste what little we've got If we tried to run.and without put mobility,We are completely screwed!" Jean looks up from his knees and raises a brow, " you're using your head for once, Connie. Nice going"

Jean then looked to his right, "But I'm just not sure if we've got the numbers needed to pull this thing off.the veterans in the Vanguard force have all been killed. how exactly do a bunch of rookies pull of. Suicide mission like this? I mean let's assume have a force even survive sister initial assault.then what? The supplier room is probably calling with Titans and the three or four meter range I don't see as accomplishing much in there."Connie looks like he was about to retort, but he doesn't, "its hopeless." Jean just sighs, putting his head on the palm of his hand

" God, what a dull life this turned out to be.I never even got to tell her just how I feel..." he muttered, think of Latina

"c'mon guys, we can do it!" Sasha announces to her squad, with zane in it, " right? Let's go.if we all work together, We can make this happen I know we can! Alright? I'll take the lead!" She tries to cheer them up, but they were too traumatized to see anything or move at all " Sasha it's not working" zane replied.

Sasha looks down at her hand before noticing drake trying to comfort armin, who leaning against the wall. She rushes over to them, "Armin! Drake!It's time to go--" She stops though, The look on armin's face was regrets and traumatised

. " sorry Sasha, but Latina wanted me to stay with him, try to help" Sasha slumps her shoulder and peers over to the next group

."Reiner. Do we move out?" Annie questions as he answers, "Not yet. We have to make them gather up first ." Marco stares off, mumbling, " it's no use.there's too many of them I don't think any of us are going to survive this.I've come to accept my pending demise.I just... Wanted my death to mean something."

"Is this really it? This is how I die?.." Grayson questioned, at the end of his rope

A soldier looks up from their knees and exclaims, "Mikasa! Latina! Weren't you two with the rear guard?" The girls just continue to run, ignoring everyone in their path except for Annie, "Annie!" Mikasa calls out to her, making the girl turn, "know how bad things have gotten.it's selfish putting personal matters in the forefront, but have you seen eren's squad?" Mikasa asked quickly.

' crap! I completely forgot! Now armin has to suffer more telling her! And then she'll suffer!'  Latina exclaimed in thought, Annie shakes her head, " some squads made it back.I don't know about erens"Reiner points behind him, "we found armin, he's over there with drake,." She looked over to see armin all slumped up and dead looking. They rush over, calling his name, causing him to flinch, "Armin!"

'Mikasa! I can't.how do I tell her what happened to eren? I survived and it means nothing' He squeezing his eyes shut and gritting his teeth' I'm so useless!'. "It's okay. Don't blame yourself. It'll all be okay." Drake tried to calm him, in armins head the thought of eren in the titans mouth came back ' I wish I had died with him instead!'

He looked up into Mikasa's worried eyes. "Armin.Are you ok? Your not hurt are you?" Mikasa asked. He lowered his head mikasa stood up. "Where is eren?" Armin whimpered as a tear fell down his cheek." Armin?" He flung up his head and Mikasa gave a startled look as she saw his haunted, tear filled eyes

"They were," Armin whimpered, gripping the fabric of his pants and looking down. To my ever growing grief, he started crying although he tried to hold it in. "The cadets of Squad 34. Thomas Wagner...Nac Tius...Mylius Zeramuski ... Mina Carolina ..." Armin gave a sob before continuing "Eren Yager." Mikasa gasped and violets eyes darkened yet again ' why did I let him tell her...more importantly...why wasn't I there in time to save them...if only..'

"These brave 5 ... upheld their duties ... and they died valiantly in the field of battle..."

"Please no," Sasha whispered," oh god..." zane muttered." Their..." Grayson muttered in shock. "His whole squad was wiped out?!" Another gasped in shock. "The same thing is gonna happen to us if we try to take on those Titans." Another exclaimed "I'm so sorry Mikasa....." Armin whispered. "It should have been me that died ... not Eren ... I couldn't do a thing! I'm worthless!". Mikasa placed a hand on his, he looked up with his tears streaming down his face."Armin, calm yourself. We haven't got time for you to get emotional right now."Armin looked up, deeply hurt and shocked."On your feet" She added and Armin shakily stood, his hand slipping from mine reluctantly.

"Marco!" Latina said sharply . "If we eliminate or bypass the Titans at HQ, we can then refuel our gear and get back over the Wall. Is that assessment correct.?" She asked

"Well, yeah. I guess so, sure." Marco stuttered. "But there is just to many of them out there, even with you on point."

"Me and Latina can do it!" Mikasa snapped. "We're strong, real strong. None of you come close, you hear me! We're warriors! Know this, We have the power to slay all the titans that block our path, even if we both have to do it alone. As far as I'm concerned I'm surrounded by a bunch of unskilled cowardly worms. You disappoint me. You can just all sit here and twiddle your thumbs and watch how it's done."

"Wait, Mikasa! Are you two out of your minds!?" One of the soldiers yelled

"You can't be serious, trying to take them out by yourself"

"There is no way you could beat them!"

"If I can't beat them, then I die. But, if I win, I live. And the only way to win is to fight" and Mikasa leapt out and towards HQ."Mikasa wait"

."You know, I was expecting something more motivational, your way with words was kind of a let down." Jean muttered

"I blame everything about this on you Eren. Hey! Don't just stand there! We were taught not to let our comrades fight alone, unless you're a coward then stay out of my way." Jean yelled before following the two, followed by Connie.

Marco put a hand on his forehead, sighed and followed the others after Connie."Come on, ya bunch of chickens!" Sasha called."Come on! Let's go!"

."YAHHHHHH!!!" Was their response, and they started charging forward " hurry up! Follow mikasa and Violet! Avoid fighting, if you can.And get to HQ before you run out of gas!" Jean yelled,

."whoa! Mikasa and Latina are bad ass! How are they going so fast!" Commented Connie

"Hey, watch your front Connie! you almost bumped me!" Grayson yelled.

Armin gasped. ' no! Their using to much gas! They could run out any second!'

' doesn't matter how skilled they both are once we lose mobility as good as dead!'  Two titan was walking in front of them, and both girls sliced their napes. ' I see through the veil of their composure, they're letting adrenaline distract them from grief! At any time they could..." Mikasa ran out, before She fell down, she slammed into Latina, both slammed into a roof. " mikasa! Latina!" Armin scream and zoom over to where they fell, "Damn!" Jean says as Connie shouts to him, "Jean! You lead the rest to HQ! I'm going after Armin!" Connie

" I'm coming too connie!" Drake says"I'll go with you!" Jean adds

" don't be stupid! They are still titans everywhere! You've got to help the others!" Before Jean can remark back, Connie and drake had already fled the scene and after the two.

Jean watches him in worry, shuts his eyes before looking forward again

while the three looks for the girls.

Meanwhile

mikasa lay on a garbage container, Latina was unconscious on the ground while mikasa stares at the sky, 'Its happened. Why this again?.' She raises her broken blade up in the air, 'i lost my family...'She goes to stand up, but instead, falls to her knees, 'why? Wasn't the first time enough?...it's all over...nothing more for them to take from me...' she then released something ' wait I bumped into something when I fell' she noticed someone lying on the group and her eyes widened when she saw The unconscious girl ' Latina!' She quickly rushed to her side

" Latina, wake up!" She shook her body, but she didn't respond, then pulled the girl into her lap, Suddenly, the ground vibrates.

A Titan turns from a corner and marches towards them both,  mikasa just sits there, clenching onto her friend, accepting her fate " I'm sorry Latina, I took you down with me..." a single tear slipped down her cheek

Somewhere else

Jean and the rest of the group had stopped heading to the HQ, they were only standing miles away, " it's no use, We're not getting anywhere near headquarters" Jean looks below him, titans, loads of them, taking a few steps back, "unless, of course, we don't mind dying" He then hears the sound of whimpering as one of the soldiers ran out of gas, 'sh!t! He's out of gas!' He tries to jump down and help, but two Titans head over to the boy, "Stay back!" Jean stops abruptly while a soldier goes down to help, "Tom! I'll save you!"Jean shoots up, "no! Wait!" But they don't listen as they tried to slice the Titan's napes, unfortunately, the Titans caught them. One of the soldiers struggle to be free, but it was too late, his body was half eaten.

Jean watches, mortified, 'Why couldn't I stop them? Why didn't I stop them? If I had kept us all together...I wasn't meant to lead. I'm the last person that should have been given the reigns' The remaining group glances over at Jean and back at the dying soldiers, "Stop! No! No!" Jean closes his eyes, trying to mute the screams of his fellow comrades.

Mikasa let's her blades in her scabbard slip out and still holds Latina's body, 'This world is cruel...But it's also- - it's also beautiful.' As the Titan gets closer, the thought of when eren wrapped his scarf around her, and the friends she made, she smiles to herself and peers up at the sky, 'It was a good life.'The Titan had finally caught up to her.

It goes in to grab her, but she quickly cuts its fingers off with her free hand holding the small blade, She springs up and jumps, still holding Latina in her arms, as the Titan goes to grab her with its free hand.

the Titan raises its hand again, she jumps and hits her back against the wall, along with Latina. 'Why?' The Titan tries again, but she, again, jumps, draggin Latina's body with her.' I'd already given up.' She rolls on the concrete as she inhales sharply. She coughs and sits herself up, 'so why?- - why am I struggling?' She glances over her shoulder to see fruit sliced half, juice dripping.

The Titan struggles to grab her once more but falls due to the rubble.'Why? Do I keep getting up?' She pushes herself up,

'Why am I still fighting? I mean I've lost any reason to live, what keeps pushing me?' The Titan was finally able to free itself as it stands, looking down at her.

She takes steps back from the Titan, then takes a sharp turn. She tries to sprint, but another Titan comes in, making her surrounded."Fight! Fight! Fight!' She hears the sound of Eren's voice echoing through her head, "Eren..." The words continue to repeatmin her head, "Kill or be killed! The only way to live is to fight!" Mikasa's eyes widen as the speech he gave to Her long ago, 'i'm so sorry, eren. I'm through giving up.' Tears began to feel her eyes, she placed Latina's unconscious body against the wall

' I'll never give up again. cause if I die, these memories of you die with me, that's why I will do whatever it takes to win whatever it takes to live! And still have my friends!' then Her left-hand goes and grabs her right, which the blade was in her grasp.

She lets out a scream of determination and starts to run, only to be lifted into the air by the Titan's stomp. The Titan then does something mankind has never seen.It punches...

.... the other Titan.

The Titan's blood splatters over the walls as Latina's body skids onto the ground from the wall, next to mikasa, covering her head in protection.

When she stops, she lets go of her face and adjusts herself in the light, "What's was that?" Once she was able to see, she gasps.There stood the 15M Titan as it roars

causing mikasa to cover her ears at the loud outburst, Latina actually started to stir" what's that?" Mikasa gasped when she heard her voice " Latina!" She moves close and embraces her " Mikasa? What's-" Latina cuts herself off by gasping when she saw what she saw

She along with Mikasa look up as the Titan charges and stomps the other one. She uncovered her ears and stared at it, shocked, "that Titan...he's... killing...he's killing the other Titan..." Mikasa muttered, It stops stomping on it and looks over to its left. Both gawks

Armin drake and Connie still continue looking for the two girls 'Please be alright, we're coming for you guys!' A small roar makes the two turn to their right and noticing the two figure on the ground

"mikasa! Latina!" Drake shouts as they descend downwards. Drake goes and swoops mikasa off her feet, while armin grabs Latina, then land to the nearest roof ."Are you two okay?" Asked Armin anxiously. "Are you guys alright?!" Connie asked.

They all nodded. "Then we gotta get out of here". Suddenly, two 15 meter Titan appeared near us. Drake stood up

."Crap! Two 15 meter Titans" Connie said. "Guys, get Mikasa and Latina out of here! I'll handle this!" Drake muttered, reaching for his swords ."No! Drake! That ones different!" He looked back. Mikasa was serious, pointing at the messy haired titan

."What?! are you nuts?!" He exclaimed " it's true!" Latina exclaimed the two titans started screeching at each other " what the hell?..." drake mumbled in shock Then, to their absolute surprise and mild horror, one Titan lifted its hands in a fighting position."Oh no...this is it...We're done for..." drake whispered.

Then, all of a sudden, the normal Titan charged at the new one, only to receive a slap that sent its head of its body and into a tower. The others gasped. Then, the Titan stepped hard on its nape and killed it."It finished it off! It knew exactly where the weak spot was!" Armin stuttered. "Come on guys, time to split." Connie urged. "Last thing we need is him coming our way!"

"He has no reaction time, and any other Titan would have been on top of us by now." Armin murmured. "It seemed understand hand to hand combat! What is that thing?" Mikasa asked."We'll just chock it up to another abnormal. Hell, they're always an unpleasant surprise, just forget about it. Let's get get out of here." Connie said."Hold on! Mikasa's tanks are empty!" Armin pointed out. "Huh!" Connie yelled" what?!" Drake asked shocked

" What are we gonna do?! We could never take on HQ without your help!" Connie exclaimed "There's only one thing left to do!" Armin said. "I know there's not much but it will do better then your empty ones!"  He was about to drain his fuel and give it to mikasa" Armin!" Mikasa shouted as Armin was swapping their gas tanks. "This is our only choice. It's a complete waste if I come. But .... use this gas more sparingly. Everyone's lives are riding on you!"Mikasa fell silent ' what have I done? I lead the attack without any regard for their lives at all, I was even reckless with my own and Latina's life... I lost track of what you taught me. Oh eren...I'm so ashamed'

"There, got it." Armin said as he removed his gas tanks and put them on Mikasa's gear instead of her own. "The ODM gear is functional and I restocked your blades, just ... leave me this one, okay? It's just, I would rather this be my end then being eaten alive..."

"No!" Latina yelled loudly. She grabbed the blade, not caring as blood ran down her hand as I threw it off the roof. "Wh-why'd you?!" He stuttered.

she grabbed his hand."Armin, we're  not leaving you behind." She pulled him up, and the others just stared of to where that one titan walked off

meanwhile Mikasa thought

The titan continued stomping on the nape of the other titan' What was he? Are there any more like him never heard of a titan killing another Titan, no one has, but it struck a chord in me, something so Familiar.so primal' the titan that save ether let out a roar' I bore witness to The manifestation of humanity's rage...'
