~(Y/N)~

It was late at night, and I should've been sleeping. But I couldn't. All day I planned how I would confess to Commander Erwin. I had feelings for him for a really long time, more than just respect for him.

I stood outside his door wondering if he was even still awake. He probably is with all the paperwork he has to do no that Eren Jaeger has joined. I raise my fist to the door and gently knock, bringing my hand back down I wait until I hear a faint 'name and business' on the other side.

"Cadet (L/N)...I-I wanted to talk to you." I stutter. My heart was pounding at the racing thoughts of how this could go.

"Come in." I hear him call.

Grabbing the knob I open the door and find he was standing by the door as if he was going to open it for me. He smiles gently, his bright blue eyes almost sparkling. Stepping in, I keep my eyes on him as I shut the door.

Leaning against the door now, I look up at him as he looks down at me. "What would you like to talk about (Y/N)?" he asks now dropping formalities.

"W-well Commander-"

"Please call me Erwin." he interrupts.

I nod my head. He turns away and returns to his desk, sitting down he continues to watch me as I nervously lean against the door. "Are you not feeling well?" he asks.

I dart my head up and shake my head. "No, no! Nothing like that sir- I mean Erwin- it's just well.." Shit, I can't get a hold on my emotions.

He chuckles softly as he turns his head finding my reaction amusing. "There is no need to be nervous (Y/N)." he says, "You may speak freely here, without facing judgment," he says.

I smile timidly as I nod my head. Slowly I step up to his desk. "Well...I just want to t-tell you...that I..." I trail off again getting caught in his blue eyes piercing back at me (e/c) ones.

"Yes?" he asks slowly as he starts to lean in a bit.

Quickly spinning around I face away from him. Maybe I'll be able to get it out if I don't look at him. "I...well...let's just say I have feelings for...someone...and I'm scared he'll reject me because of his position and I wouldn't even be mad about that but I really cared for- maybe even loved this guy for a long time and I don't know how to tell him without making a complete fool outta myself and-"

I then felt a hand clamp down on my shoulder stopping me from rambling on nervously. Turning my head back I find him standing right behind me with a soft smile. He turns me back to face him and his other hand rests on my shoulder gently. "And who is this man you're speaking of?" he asks.

I dart my head down blushing more than before. "Sir- Erwin I-" Then his pointer finger hooks under my chin forcing my head up to look at him.

"Answer this for me (Y/N)...are you talking about me when you say that?" he asks.

I shut my mouth and gulp nervously. Slowly I nod my head while keeping my eyes on his. "Y-yes," I mutter.

His smile grows bigger. "Good," he mutters.

Then his thumb runs along my bottom lip as his eyes drift down looking at my mouth. "May I kiss you?" he asks.

As his hand that held my chin up travels to the side of my face I nod my head at his request. Leaning down slowly he smiles still before his lips gently press into mine. His lips peck mine softly and the kiss ends within a few seconds. Pulling away he looks at me directly, his face hadn't moved far, it was like he was seeing if I liked it.

The left side of his mouth cracks up into a coy smirk. He leans in again this time faster, his lips press harder against mine. His strong arms pull me against him as he lifts me off the ground, I didn't mind, I didn't want him hurting his back anyway from bending too much. Kissing him back immediately I felt him smile against my lips.

Turning away from the door he steps over to his desk and sets me down. Erwin peppers my lips with soft pecks while his right hand remains resting on my face. My hands rest on his firm chest tugging at his bolo tie.

Unfortunately, the kissing came to a stop before we could get lost in the heat of the moment and takes things further. Fixing himself he continues to smirk seeming pleased with how he left me in such a dazed state after. My mind was foggy as my fingers rest on my lips, my face was beyond warm that someone could think I have a fever.

"Thank you for telling me (Y/N)...and you should know that I love you too," he says. Glancing up I look at him as his face continues to hold the same smile he had given me since entering. Then extending his massive hand out to me, I take it and he helps me off his desk.

"Get some rest, you and I have a busy day tomorrow," he mutters into my ear.

I lean back and look at him in confusion as to what he had planned. "What will we be doing?" I ask.

His smile grows bigger. "I'm gonna take my woman out on a date," he whispers. After hearing him call me his, I bury my face in his shirt while my hands rest on my warm face. I'm gonna die my heart is beating way too fast. Erwin chuckles softly as his right arm wraps around me pulling me in.

"Go rest now love, I'll see you in the morning," he whispers, his head turns in and kisses the side of my forehead. I smile against him and nod before he finally lets me go. Walking over to his door I look back at him and he waves slowly. Smiling back I wave while whispering 'bye' to him. With that, I left his office feeling a lot more confident than before.
