She was the girl everyone wanted. You thought she only had eyes for Eren. Wrong.

She loved you, you just didn't know. You didn't think you had a chance, but that all changed ((When the fire nation attacked- Help me)) when she walked up to you one day. You think to yourself, 'This is your moment, (Y/N), you got this! Just ask her when she gets close enough and-' "(Y/N), can I ask you something?" Mikasa asked you. 'Oh god, retreat retreat. Things are gonna go wrong. Freckled Jesus save me-' "Yes, Mikasa?" You asked back. "Do you think," She begins to ask, "I would have a chance with you?" "WHAAAA- *Ahem* I mean, yeah of course you do Mika." You said, clearing your throat an unnecessary amount of times. She nodded at this information. "Well then, from now on you're mine." Mikasa said, walking away.

Everyone just stared in shock as she walked away. That just happened. Well shit, that was hella easy.

"Woah <Y/N>! Mikasa is your girlfriend now!" "Lucky!" "She was so calm." "I can't believe it." "Congrats, <Y/N>!"

You stared blankly after the girl. "How the fuck?"

Years later, you two were in Trost, along with the others. Everyone had been on top of the wall, talking normally. You were going to persuade Mikasa to join the MP with you, but she was hellbent on staying by Eren. "I love you both, with the same amount of love, but I made a promise." She would tell you each time you talked about it.

You saw her fall, down to the ground. You wanted to help her, but someone forced you ahead. Armin. "She'd want you to keep going, <Y/N>." He said, looking as though he wanted to cry himself. You nodded, before turning your head the other way, with tears filling your eyes.

"Mikasa...Mikasa...Mikasa...Why?"

"Why what, <Y/N>?"

That oh so familiar voice broke your heart into pieces. "Why did you have to die?" You cried, head against the wall. Mikasa's body laid next to you, at least her top half. The other half had been eaten by a Titan. The look on your lover's face showed the look of pure fear and despair. Though, the oddest thing out of this entire fiasco, she had a smile on her face. That was what made your heart disappear into nothingness.

"I'll be alive in your heart."

"I don't want you alive in my heart, I want you alive right here!"

"I'm sorry."

Your reaction when you first saw her, climbing her way out of the nape of a Titan, was pure joy.

"Mikasa!?"

You ran up to her, hugging her tightly, her returning the hug.

"It's me, <Y/N>."

"Oh, Mikasa, I've missed you."

The second reaction, was pure shock.

"Mikasa! How did you become a Titan?!"

"I don't know. I woke up one day, laying in a field of grass, and the next thing I knew, I was a Titan."

"I'm so glad you're okay! I thought I'd never see you again!"

"Me too."

"Hey, Mikasa?"

"Yes, <Y/N>?"

"I love you."

"I love you, too."

You woke up, breathing heavily. You looked around the room. "Mikasa?" Then you sigh, and shake your head. "That's right, she's gone. Mikasa...my dear lover, I miss you."
