(Eren's POV)

I opened my eyes and looked at the window. It was morning. I was sleeping in my bed and drooling as usual. I cleaned my eyes from the dirt that comes when you are asleep and looked around.

'I wonder who's gonna take care of me today' I thought to myself.

I felt pretty tired and bored. Armin was still asleep when I looked at him. I couldn't see his face but I saw his blonde hair and a part of his back that was a little exposed.

I got out of bed and decided to go and take a walk since nobody is probably awake. I wanted to eat breakfast and then go and play around.

I walked to the door and tried to reach for the small wooden handle to open the door and I successfully opened the door this time with a little effort and no need of help. Usually, when my body was in it's teenage phase, I was able to open door handles easily.
But now I feel like I'm back at square one when it comes to growing up.

I got out of Armin's room and walked in the hallway in search of something to do but before I could walk any further away from our barracks, I felt two hands grab me and lift me up.

"Where are you going, little Eren?"

The person holding me turned me around and it was Mikasa. I was a little annoyed by this.

"Awww! Can't you just let me walk all by myself?" I asked.

"No. You're still a kid." She replied.

"I saved you when I was a kid last time!" I stated. "I killed two men!"

"And I saved you from the last one." She replied.

"I'm hungry." I stated.

"Let's go get you some food." She sad as she placed me on the ground and made me, ugh gross, hold her hand to the mess hall!

(Time Skip - Mess Hall)

"I want something other than bread!" I whined directly to Mikasa's ear.

"We only have bread, soup and barely other stuff. And there's barely enough land to grow all this food." Mikasa stated.

"That's why we should explore beyond the walls! There's more than enough land for us to explore, live, farm, and expand!" I fired back with a slight impatience for finally leaving the walls.

"You know we can't. We need to get you back to your normal physical shape. Your body is in-proportionate to your current age." She said.

"True. But I can't wait!" I said. "Maybe I don't go back to my older self?"

"Don't worry, you will." She said before giving me a kiss on the cheek.

I shoved her face away, my tongue sticking out of my mouth in disgust.

"Eww! That's gay!" I said before I continued eating my food before Armin arrived.

"Hey guys." Armin greeted us and brought his food. "So what's up?"

"Nothing much." Mikasa replied.

"I wanna go outside the walls!"

"Ugh... I can't even handle him as a child..." Mikasa commented.

Later that day I was watching the entire group train when I heard my name being called from somewhere.

The voice seemed like a whisper. But it was loud enough for me to hear and sounded like it came from far away inside some cabins.

I couldn't make out who was calling me, but the voice was feminine. And not like the type of voice that attracts men. Well it was but to a point. It was ominous. Threatening. And it said my name in a way that I don't like at all.

But me, being in this young body, my judgement is clouded. I couldn't help but head to the ominous voice that was coming from inside the cabins.
