Eren punches Reiner in the face as the two of them fall to the ground.

"Eren!" Evelyn yells as smoke covers the two of them.

She tries to go down the wall, only to feel resistance on her wires. Evelyn looks up and she sees Mikasa, Armin, Conny and Sasha holding onto her wires.

"Captain Evelyn, don't go! Stay out of the way! You're already injured!" Sasha says as Evelyn starts to cry.

"I'm fine okay, so just let me go!" Evelyn shouts as she looks down at the dust cloud below her starts to clear.

If only I'd cut off their heads. That was the perfect chance. I should've been able to do it, so why? That was it. There won't be another chance.

Evelyn says as her wires go slack. She looks up as she sees Bertolt swipe for everyone on top of the wall as they all jump away from the wall. With Ymir in one hand and another soldier in the other, Bertolt eats the two of them.

"All soldiers prepare to attack!" Hange yells as everyone looks at them, "we're taking down the Colossal titan! Evelyn and Eren will work together and take on the Armoured titan! The two of them are a threat to all humanity! Swarm the huge bastard!".

They all start to fly around Bertolt as he tries to swing for them but they make it to his neck. Hange attaches their wires to Bertolt as he realises this and he lets off tonnes of hot steam, making them let go.

"Everyone fall back!" Hange yells as everyone does so and they all land on the wall, "he's trying to disappear again?".

"No, something is different" Armin says as he looks back at Hange, "the last time he vanished instantly, but now, he's maintaining his form and emitting hot steam like a furnace. If he keeps protecting himself with steam... we're unable to attack with our ODM gear. What do we do?".

"We can't do anything. We wait" Hange says as he looks at Armin, "for the meantime, nobody get in Eren and Evelyn's way. The two of them need to work together in order for this to work. Squads three and four, take your positions behind the target. Rashad has command. Squad two will wait here. Lauda is in control. It's yet to be seen how long he can keep his body burning, but eventually he has to come out. We wait for that moment to attack. Listen up. Forget about capturing them. Kill them and don't hesitate. Armin and squad one, follow me! We're monitoring the Armoured titan.

Evelyn watches as Reiner punches Eren, sending him flying into the field nearby. Eren lies there as Reiner stands tall.

"Eren. Wake up! Don't just lie there!" Evelyn yells as Reiner swings for her but Evelyn moves further up the wall.

You shit. You big piece of shit. And here you wouldn't shut up about a soldier's duty. During close combat training, were you always holding back on me? You're so strong, it's ridiculous. I can't even move an inch of my body. I always though you were a stand up guy. Someone who remained calm, regardless of the situation. A guy who put your comrades ahead of yourself. And I, to think at one time I wished to be as strong as you someday.

Eren says as Reiner comes towards him. Evelyn kicks off of the wall as she flies towards Reiner. She connects her wires to his right shoulder as she swings in from the left, slicing at his neck, only for her blades to break.

That did nothing.

Evelyn says as Eren gets up, only for Reiner to punch him again. Eren keeps his stance tall as he punches Reiner twice.

And my blades didn't work either?

Evelyn says as she flies towards Reiner's ankles and strikes them, her blades breaking again. Reiner punches Eren again, knocking him to the ground.

And unlike Annie, his skin his hardened everywhere.

Evelyn says as Reiner closes in on Eren.

"Eren!" Evelyn yells as Eren looks at Reiner.

Hey, Reiner. I don't know what kind of face you're making right now, but you guys, you really are the worst pieces of shit. I bet in the history of mankind, nobody's done anything as bad as you.

Eren says as he watches Evelyn harden her fists and punch away at Reiner's shoulders, using the crystallisation skill she got from Annie.

When I get new titan blood, do I inherit what power they have? Like with Eren's titan, I have heightened attack strength. And when I use the blood from Annie's titan, I can use her crystallisation. So what would happen if I used Reiner and Bertolt's blood?

Evelyn asks as she looks up and she sees Eren getting up.

I've got to erase you. You shouldn't be allowed to exist anymore. What the hell are you thinking? I've never felt so revolted before. Just remembering you and your self-righteous face is making me feel sick. I can't speak for Evelyn, but I know she's probably cursing you out right now. After all, you broke the wall that killed our Mum, and you tried to kill her. Are you targeting her as well because she escaped from your clutches last time? It makes me want to vomit. You huge ass bastard! It's time to exterminate you.

Eren says as he screams, Evelyn moving off of Reiner's shoulder. Eren punches Reiner but Reiner punches Eren, sending him flying backwards.

--- back during the trainee corps days ---

Eren lands on the dirt below him as Annie finishes her move.

"Damn, that hurt, Annie" Eren complains as he sits up, "haven't you ever heard the concept of pulling your punches?".

"I did it because you're coming at me at full force" Annie says as she turns to look at Eren, "I've got to respond with equal strength of my own. And if you're a guy, aren't you supposed to be gentle with this delicate body of mine?".

"Your jokes aren't funny at all" Eren says as he looks up at her, "if my strength is the deciding factor, then why am I on my ass and you're still standing?".

"Well, I didn't throw you using my strength" Annie says as she drops her gun to the ground and walks towards Eren, "it's a technique used to protect yourself against an opponent stronger than you" she says as she prepares her stance, "if I were you, I'd think about learning it".

"Alright already. Why don't we take a break?" Eren asks as he backs off slightly.

Annie swings for Eren as she grabs him in a headlock, flipping him over and throwing him and herself to the ground as she doesn't let go of him.

"Annie! Surrender!" Eren struggles to get out, "I surrender!".

"Surrender! Try to learn something before you surrender!" Annie says sternly with a slight smirk, "learn how to use your strength and the proper way to speak to women!".

"Alright! I promise I'll learn so let go!" Eren says as he pries at her arm.

"Yeah? Do you want to learn that badly?" Annie asks as she side-eyes him.

Annie hears someone sound like they're in pain as she looks up and sees Reiner about to land on them. She gets out of the way as Reiner lands right on Eren's stomach.

"Why the hell did Reiner come flying this way?" Eren asks as he looks down at Reiner.

"Hey Annie" Mikasa says as she comes over, "I want to learn that move, too. Show me".

"I don't know" Annie says as she stands up, "that move is meant to be used against humans, so I don't think you have any use for it. But I'm interested to see if it works on a beast like you".

"Are you serious?" Eren asks as he looks at Annie who prepares her stance, "it's happening".

"Hey, hey. Are they going at it?" Conny asks as he and Sasha run over.

"It's the big showdown!" Sasha announces.

"Who'll win?" Daz asks excitedly.

"Annie, you think?" Marco wonders.

"Are you stupid?" Jean asks as he looks at Marco, "I bet my whole dinner on Mikasa!".

"What do you think, Eren?" Reiner asks as he looks at Eren.

"Which one, I wonder" Eren says as he glances at Reiner.

How did that turn out in the end? No. Why am I remembering it now? Is this what they call having your life flash before your eyes? Actually, who gives a shit anymore? I don't think I've felt this awful in my entire life.

Eren says as he gets up.

"Eren! Don't do it! You can't win in a slugfest!" Evelyn yells from the tree nearby, "follow me towards the wall! Eren! Don't try to fight him! We can find another way to win this!".

Eren! This is bad.

Evelyn says as Reiner goes to punch Eren but Eren ducks out of the way, as he uses the same move Annie used on him and throws Reiner into the tree where Evelyn is. The tree shakes as Evelyn falls to the ground, rolling out of the way as she gets up. Eren gets on top of Reiner and he goes to punch him.

I don't know what you guys are trying to accomplish by doing this, but now that I think of it, your plan has been full of plans from the start. Your biggest mistake was this. You should've thought twice about teaching me how to fight.

Eren says as Reiner goes to punch him but he wraps his legs around Reiner's neck. Eren grabs Reiner's hand and stops him from punching him as Reiner's armour starts to break.

It's working! I've got him now! I still have a chance!

Eren says as Reiner grabs his leg and starts to stand up, pulling at Eren's leg.

Try again!

Eren says as he breaks Reiner's fingers, throwing his legs around Reiner's side as he throws him into the ground again.

"Eren!" Evelyn yells as she runs alongside the two of them.

You're not getting away from this.

Eren says as he screams whilst pulling on Reiner's arm, shattering the armour up and down his arm. Eren screams even louder as he tears off Reiner's arm.

"He did it!" Evelyn says happily with a proud smile as Reiner's arm lands near her.

Eren lets go of Reiner as he stands up, preparing his stance.

"Eren. Can you hear me?" Evelyn asks as she runs over, "run away! Get closer to the wall! Their goal is to kidnap us and take us away! We've got to escape and keep that from happening!".

Eren runs to the wall as Evelyn goes after them, the two of them making it to the wall.

"Good call, Eren" Evelyn says with a smile.

Meanwhile on top of the wall, Hannes arrives once again.

"You there. Where are Eren and Evelyn?" Hannes asks as he looks at Historia.

"They're both over there" Historia says as she points to the right.

Hannes runs over as he looks down and he sees them, "is that Eren's titan form?" he asks as he watches Evelyn stand on Eren's shoulder.

"Listen up, Eren" Evelyn says as Eren looks at her, "if we're going to escape, we've got to find a way to half Reiner and buy ourselves some time! Can you break his legs with another one of those joint locks? Our blades don't seem to work on him, so use your head and figure out the best course of action. Maybe if I try and get some blood from him, I'll be able to harden my blades with his skill like I did with Annie's crystallisation. The crystallisation doesn't work on his hardened skin, so breaking it apart with crystallised blades doesn't do anything".

Eren looks at her and nods as Hange takes note of this from above, "he recognised her voice, her recognised her voice!" Hange says with a blush.

Evelyn jumps off of Eren's shoulder and back onto the wall as Eren stands in front of her and prepares his stance.

This time, running away is a guaranteed victory. It's you guys that are screwed for revealing what you are. You're the ones back into a corner.

Eren says as Reiner suddenly runs at Eren and grabs his legs, forcing him into the wall as Evelyn moves out of the way. Reiner gets on top of Eren as he goes to strike Eren but he moves his head out of the way, just in time. Eren grabs Reiner's leg as Reiner tries to strike Eren again but Eren moves his head out of the way.

"Don't stay on the ground, Eren!" Evelyn yells, "stand up!".

Eren kicks Reiner off of him as he backs into the wall again.

Damn it! His tackle is too much to handle!

Eren says as he starts to back off down the side of the wall.

"Shit! Since when did he get so fast?" Evelyn asks as she watches the two of them.

Wait. If his entire body was as hard as stone, he wouldn't be able to move like that. In the armour they used during the wars in the past, it had sections at the joints not covered in metal to allow movement. Like at the armpits and groyne. And also, the spot behind the knees.

Evelyn says to herself as Reiner charges at Eren.

I can't evade it. Since I'll get knocked over anyways... bring it!

Eren says as he and Reiner grab each other at the same time. Eren wraps his legs around Reiner as the two fall to the ground, Eren pulling at Reiner's neck.

"Yeah! That's it, Eren!" Evelyn yells as she cheers her brother on, "you've got him. Now it's time for a battle of strength".

Evelyn runs along the side of the wall as she slices the back of Reiner's legs.

Evelyn.

Eren says as he watches Evelyn. Reiner collapses on top of Eren as his legs give in.

He can't fight back as much anymore.

Eren says as he pulls some more, cracking some of the armour on Reiner.

"You've got this!" Evelyn yells as she swoops in and she grabs some of Reiner's armour and puts it in the waistband of her bottoms, "tear the head off his neck! Pull the bastard out of there. Avenge our Mother".

I can win! Against Reiner, I can win!

Eren says as Reiner digs his hands into the ground and starts to crawl, the two of them going together. Soon enough, Reiner stops.

"He stopped. But why here?" Evelyn asks as she lands on the wall near them and looks up, only to see that they're directly above Bertolt.

Reiner starts to scream uncontrollably as everyone looks for titans coming, since they learnt that the hard way when Annie screamed last time. Cracks start to be heard from on top of the wall as Conny looks at Bertolt. All of a sudden, Bertolt starts to lean to the side as he falls from the top of the wall, Evelyn diving towards Eren, Bertolt towards Reiner.
