Mikasa's POV

It was late on the day after the visit to see Annie, Sunday. Levi had gone out to the shop and had left me alone with my phone and all the lights on in the house.

I sat alone in the living room on the floor, scratching my arms. They were healing and that made them itchy and scratching it would cause it to reopen.

I was watching a kids show, this is because my mind can't handle anything mature or that may cause bad flashbacks.

The show was simple, I'd watched it when I was younger. 'The amazing world of Gumball'.

The show, even now had me giggling at few scenes.

I cooked myself a pepperoni pizza and pulled out my notepad drawing pictures of the characters on the television.

Darwin and Gumball were about to travel back in time when suddenly my phone went off.

I answered quickly expecting it to be Levi, but it was Eren. What could Eren possibly want and eight in the night?

"Hey Mikasa, I need you to be ready outside your house in about ten minutes.
It's about Levi."

Eren sounded panicked but I was calm, Levi probably just wanted me to go down to the store to help him shop and had Eren's number.

I was in total denial.

After I had put my dressing gown on over my shorts and vest I wore my slippers and walked to the front door to meet Eren.

The breeze was cold and my arms were extreme itchy.

Eren turned up around fifteen minutes later and I got in the passenger seat of his car.

I was still scratching my arm until Eren grabbed my hand and held it tightly.

"What's going on Eren?" I asked as his expression darkened.

He exhaled a rugged breath grabbing my hand tightly.

"I needed to tell you in person but Levi's in the hospital."

My eyes opened in our shock, the feeling stung in my chest. Levi? Hospital?

It hurt me to think that the only family I had left was in the hospital.

"Why? W-what happened?!" I was on the brim of tears. "How do you know?"

"Levi was on the phone to me and some drunk driving kid hit him. I called an ambulance then called you."

I bit my bottom lip scratching my scars more ferociously than I had been prior.

Once we arrived at the hospital I jumped out of Eren's car and run inside.

"We're here for Levi Ackerman!" I pleaded to the receptionist crying.

"L-Levi Ackerman, he- I advise you go down the hall over there and knock on the third door to the right.

I grabbed Eren's arm, even though pulling him gave more strain on my arm I had to. I couldn't do this without him.

Eren knocked on the door firmly.

" Hello, I'm sorry but- Eren?"
"Dad, is Levi Ackerman in there?!"

Grisha simply nodded turning to me, I could barely see from the tears clouding my eyes.

The door was opened revealing a very beat Levi. I shook my head, it wasn't fair.

"Is he going to be ok?!"
"His injuries were rather severe and-"
"Will he fucking live?!"

I wailed my fist closed so tightly my nails were cutting into my palms.

Grisha shook his head as I shook frantically.

I ran out of the room sprinting down the hallways, I could hear walking behind me but I didn't care, I just wanted to be wherever Levi was. Even if it meant death.

I ha finally reached the roof of the building and climbed the slight step surrounding the brim of the roof.

I stood up and felt the breeze in my hair.

I wanted to leave this hell, if I jumped there would be no Levi to take me to the hospital when he finds me.

I was all alone now, Levi was gone! I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted everything to end.

My conscience, my heart, my brain, my life.

I heard a loud shout, 'stop maybe? Stay? I would never know.

My feet pushed away as I felt like I could truest fly and my heart skipped a beat.

That chapter was kinda short sorry.
I'm planning on adding a lemon and more about Levi and Mikasa's childhood. So what will happen next?
Will everything be ok?
Will anything unexpected happen?
Why am I asking questions I know the answer to?
