Ozpin walk on to the stage and grab the microphone "Today we stand together, united. Mistral. Atlas. Vacuo. Vale. The four Kingdoms of Remnant. On this day, nearly eighty years ago, the largest war in recorded history came to an end. It was a war of ignorance, of greed, and of oppression. Ruby smiled "This is perfect! All we have to do is shadow a Huntsman working in the southeast!"

"Yeah! We'll follow them around by day and give them the slip by night!" yang chears

"Let's check "search and destroy"!" Weiss recommend as Team RWBY approaches a hologram screen.

"Here we go! Quadrant 5 needs Grimm cleared out!" Ruby says pointing at one of the missions

"Well, it's in the southeast!" Blake adds in

Ruby selects it and types in her team name. However, the screen says that first years are not allowed to take this mission " Wonderful!" weiss sighed as she look at the others " Any other ideas?"

"We mail ourselves there!" Ruby says with a smile not thinking like normal

"Well, that's one option." a voice says making the team jump as Ozpin suddenly appears walking over to them " Unfortunately, we determined that the concentration of Grimm was too extreme for first-year students. It seems that particular region is rather popular. In fact, I have the sneaking suspicion that you four will make your way there no matter which job you choose."

Weiss, Blake, and Yang glare at Ruby, who nervously rubs her head as ruby giggled "Whatever makes you say that?"

"I'm still curious how you all found yourself at the docks last semester. I'm interested to know how you really learned about a hideout in the southeast. And I certainly wonder why witnesses reported seeing robots and rose petals in a dance club some time ago."ozpin says as he see Ruby play confsued as he already knew it was them " i doubt I'll ever find the exact answers I'm looking for. So how about this: instead of waiting for you all to break the rules, why don't we just bend them?" he says as Ozpin selects some things on his scroll, and the hologram screen makes a noise.

Team rwby smile at each over before ruby look at ozpin " We won't let you down. Thank you, professor."

"Do not thank me for this. Teamwork and persistence have carried you far. But you must understand, the things that await you beyond the protection of the Kingdom will not care. Stay close to your Huntsman at all times, and do exactly as he says. He will be leading you on this mission, and he can have you sent back to Beacon, if he finds your skills to be unsatisfactory. Good luck." Ozpin says as he gose to leave but stops " oh this mission along with all the missions in the south are link with the clone army meaning your be working along side atlas clone troopers why your away" ozpin says as he left

Team RWBY have left the auditorium and are on their way to the airship that will take them to venator to get to Quadrant 5 and they were happy that they be getting to work with clone and a huntsman but as they walk a A student runs past the team. yelling " Hey! Team CFVY is back!" as Beacon students gather around to witness the return of Team CFVY. Blake goes up to Velvet Scarlatina " Velvet? Are you okay? " Blake would ask

"I'm fine. I had Yatsuhashi to look out for me as well as the Clone trooper that join us from Jet Unit." velvet says smiling

Weiss walk over next " Your mission was supposed to end a week ago! What happened?" she says as she wonder why it took so long

"Nothing happened. It was just ... there were just so many... " Velvet says as she looks up and notices Team RWBY's worried expressions " Oh, but don't worry. You first-years are just shadowing Huntsmen, so you should be fine."

"Right." yang says nodding

"I should go. Be safe, okay?" Velvet says as she left catching up with her team

"We can do this. We've never backed down before, and we're not going to start now besides, it won't only be us out there! We'll be fighting alongside a genuine Huntsman!" Ruby says Smiling as the team chear

Oobleck Talking fast, per the norm, as he paces in front of the students. " Yes, I'm afraid those bags won't be necessary, girls, seeing as you've opted to shadow a Huntsman on what is now essentially a reconnaissance mission. I can assure you, we will not be establishing a single base of operations; rather, we will be traversing several miles of hazardous wasteland and making camp in any defendable locations we may stumble upon. I packed all of our essentials myself, plotted our air course, and readied the airship. And... " he says as he Zooms up right to Weiss' face. " It's Doctor Oobleck. I didn't earn the PhD for fun, thank you very much!" he Quickly backs away.

Weiss looks over at Blake Belladonna, who is equally disturbed. "come now, children; according to my schedule, we are already three minutes behind! "he Then, as an afterthought to clarify " ...schedule!" He zips off to the airship docked farther ahead in a second

Ruby Positive and upbeat before suddenly becoming as depressed as her team halfway through " Well, alright, then! Looks like we're going to save the world with Doctor Oooobleck- okay yeah when you say it out loud it sounds worse".

"Save the world?" a voice yell as team rwby turn around to see team JNRP walking over to her as it was nora who spoke and she was being dramatic " You're going on world-saving missions without us? I'm hurt... sad!... Maybe a little hungry? That last one's not your fault, though," she says and turned to Ren with a small glear " Ren.." she says as Lie Ren, for his part, simply crosses his arms and turns away.

Jaune smiled " Sounds exciting. Where ya going?"

"Oh, just outside the kingdom..." Ruby says with a smile

"Hey! So are we!" nora add in with a chear

"Ren and Nora wanted to shadow the sheriff of a nearby village so we set out tomorrow." Pyrrha says as she smiles

"then you can party with us tonight! " a voice says as (Neptune Vasilias and Sun Wukong approach the two groups "We're shadowing a crime specialist and clone shock troopers. All inner-city detective stuff. We get junior badges." Neptune says

"We normally go to the city with you guys, which means stuff's always exploding and junk, so we thought this might be a better way to check out the kingdom when it" Sun says as he smiled at the teams

Ruby went to speak only for Oobleck appears from the airship to call to Team RWBY, who are embarrassed " Four minutes, ladies! " he yell before going back inside

" well, uh..." Ruby Throws a thumbs-up " Wish us luck! " she says With that, the friends disband, either back to Beacon Academy or towards their mission

when team rwby were aboard the Bullhead take off heading to the Venator in the sky's above the school

As a warship, Venators were protected by powerful deflector shields and boasted a range of weaponry. For its carrier role, a large flight deck, along with hangars to accommodate a complement of starfighters, gunships, shuttles, armored vehicles and other craft, was contained in the forward section, while three more docking bays were located around the ship one on the left, one on the right and one below the ship along with a maintenance bay for vehicles that were in need of repair and maintenance

as the bullhead flew threw the sky  heading to the Venator the pilot spoke  over a radio " this is Bullhead bravo 5 requesting permission to dock"

for a moment the radio was silent until a voice spoke " this is  retribution we read you 5 by 5 and you are clear to land in the  ventral hanger "  a clone voice come over the radio

" copy that  heading there now" the pilot says as the bullhead door open as team rwby and Oobleck look out side seeing  retribution in her guts and glory as it was busy and they watch as the venator ventral hanger that runs along the top of the ship from the bow, down to half way in the center open up showing the busy hanger inside as in the bays were Tanks, Drop ships, fighters and bomber as clone march up and down moving crats, marching or training as it was busy 

the bull head land in the center of the ship  powering down as Team rwby and Oobleck step off all in aww at the high tech ship  witch was one of many new ships as Ruby spoke " woh this is awesome "

"you can say that again sis " yang add in as they look around

Oobleck  nods " i must agree there ladys  it is high tech and interesting " he says

just then a voice spoke " you must be the Student and Huntman coming with us to the  southeast part of vale in Quadrant 5  to help clear Grimm out " a voice says as the girls and Doctor look seeing a man in phase 2 clone amour with white and organ markings walk over as this was Commander Cody leader of the 212th

"the name Commander Cody but your call me Commander or sir or commander cody " Cody says  taking his helmet off showing the cut on his face and his face in general 

" it nice to meet you Commander i am Doctor Oobleck and this is team rwby we will be aiding you in your mission" Oobleck says to the Commander

" good to hear  as we speak the ship be departing even thow we already got a base in the area we be taking a few of my men that are on the ship down for this mission and setting up a camp for the night instead of using the base mostly because the base is still under repairs after our battle with the drodis " Cody says remembering the battle they had with the droid force at battle of Mountain Glenn with Doctor Merlot and his droid army 

Oobleck nods he and the rest of the world had haird of this when Ironwood let the Media know what happen and how the base was going under heavy over haul to fix it up and make it better " i under stand commander"

" good when we arrive we be sticking as a unit " Cody says as he put his helmet on" now i must be off to the bridge" he says before taking his leave and walking a way

yang was holding on to ruby bag keeping her in place " Ruby calm down"

Oobleck then spoke  as he Calls the attention of RWBY " Ladies! You still may be students, but as of this moment, your first mission as Huntresses has begun! From this point forward, you need to do exactly as I say! Do you understand? " he says as the girls nod, but he suddenly looks at Ruby, startling her. " Ruby! I thought I told you to leave all of your bags back at school."

  "But, uh, you hadn't told us to listen to you yet. So I didn't." Ruby says smiling  and trying to hide some thing

 "She's not wrong..." Oobleck mutters before looking at Ruby " Very well, Ruby; leave your bag here, we can pick it up upon our return."

  "But I, well uh-" ruby stutters as she try's to think of some thing

"Young lady, what in the world could you possibly have in that bag that could be so important to bring it with... " Oobleck Stops as the bag's zipper opens and out pops Zwei's head, causing everyone to stare at the uninvited guest  

 Ruby Whispering to her dog through the side of her mouth " Get back in the bag."

Zwei merely barks in response as Oobleck spoke up "We're here to investigate an abandoned urban jungle teeming with death and hostility, and you brought... a dog?...... "Genius!" he yells as he backs away long enough for Ruby to give a confused shrug before speeding past and snatching the pet away from Ruby, who tumbles to the ground as Oobleck spins Zwei in the air " Canines are historically known for their perceptive nose and heightened sense of sound, making them excellent companions for a hunt such as ours! " he says as Zwei barks happily in his hands. 

Ruby after being stunned for the unexpected reaction, she proudly states " I'm a genius!"

Weiss and Yang both facepalm at their grinning leader as blake spoke " So, what are your orders, Doctor?"

Oobleck drops zwei and spoke " well we wont be reaching the  area for at least a few hours so for now rest and Relax until we arrive" he says to them as Team rwby nods and start to split up walking around the hanger to look around and see what is there 

Venator-class Star Destroyers featured two bridges, with the starboard bridge serving as the primary command center of the ship and the port bridge being dedicated to starfighter operations. These bridges were raised from the main body of the destroyer and provided a wide, panoramic view of the battle. However, the bridges' exposed nature made them vulnerable to attack. 

 The bridges featured large windows at the front, with two sunken pits behind, with a raised command walkway in between. This design would become a staple in Imperial vessels, giving emphasis to the command hierarchy. Further behind, a holotable sat between two sets of blast doors which could be used for communication, ship analysis and troop movements

right now the bridges were filled with life as Atlas and Clone officer walk to and from with a few sitting at Consoles in the rear of the bridges or in the pits below with a few officer standing as it was busy

Cody would enter the bridges walking past the holotable to the Front as he look out the window watching as the ship broke  off and start moving a way " report"

the captain of the ship witch was a captain we met before ( back in Winter Rescue) aka Captain Richard Denny walk over  " sir all deck report green and the men are ready for battle, we should arrive at  southeast part of vale in Quadrant 5  in 2 hours " he says

" good " Cody says as he look out the window " any word from ironwood"

" the general on the comms now for you" captain Richard says  to Cody as he walk over pressing a button as  a hologram of Ironwood is seen   " General ironwood sir " Richard says as he salute along with Cody

" Cody, Captain Richard "  Ironwood says as he salute back " how gose  thing with you"

Cody took off his helmet and put it in his hands " all goes well sir we  should reach southeast part of vale in Quadrant 5 in  2 hours when we arrive i deploy my men along with the student for battel to start hunting grimm "

" what of the white fang " ironwood ask wondering

Richard pull up a map of Quadrant 5 as it showed Mountain Glenn " Boil and Waxier teams  have pin point the white fang in the city but when they look around they found nothing, if they are there then there keeping under the radar" he says

" when we arrive were search the area  we look for them but our main goal is to take down the grimm witch have flood back in sins our battle with the droids" Cody says  to ironwood showing a map of   Mountain Glenn " our main force be at our base there sins there still rebuilding parts of it and keeping it secure due to grimm attack near by" Cody says

" what of jet Company" Ironwood ask wondering

" Jet informed me last that he and his team near by dealing with a huge nest of grimm they found they say there be busy for a few days and wont be able to help much " Cody says showing where on the map jet was " mean time i be going with a team to aid in taking down the grimm ones we arrive  as we be helping the students and were also meet up with Boil and Waxier  team   to aid us  mean time the Venator will retreat back to vale ones we deployed

 " good  at the same time i got Rex  and Thorn hunting down White fang here in vale" Ironwood says as he look at Richard  " Captain when your done return to vale   after you drop the 212th off at the base and at the landing zones for the mission"

" yes sir "Richard  says as he salutes ironwood

" good" Ironwood turned to face cody again " good luck Commander " Ironwood says as he end the call leaving the 2 alone

Captain Richard sighed as he look at Cody " well i suggest you get some rest it be at least a hour or 2 before we arrive " he say and with that Cody left the room

time had gone fast for the 212th and team rwby   as the two hours were up and right now over Mountain Glenn

Mountain Glenn is a defunct city dwelling comprised of destroyed and dilapidated buildings. Grimm and nature alike have begun to retake the landscape. The area also boasted an extensive subway system, taking advantage of the pre-existing underground caverns; these caverns also contain a makeshift village as derelict as the rest of the city.

Mountain Glenn was the Kingdom of Vale's first serious attempt at expansion. The kingdom developed an elaborate underground metro system that allowed the settlers to commute to and from the main kingdom and the new territory, thus bypassing the danger of the Grimm, while also setting up an aggressive perimeter defense that worked for a short period of time, keeping the thousands of the city's residents safe in their new home.

However, Mountain Glenn did not boast the natural barriers Vale did, and as such Grimm attacks began to increase every day until inevitably they overwhelmed the city's defenses. These ever increasing attacks were partly due to the actions of Merlot Industries which worked to attract more Grimm for the purpose of experimentation.

In a last-ditch effort to stave off destruction, the citizens of Mountain Glenn took refuge in the tunnels they had initially cleared for their subways, converting them into an underground settlement and cutting themselves off from the surface entirely.

Unfortunately, this supposed safe haven was eventually compromised when an explosion opened the mouth of another cavern filled with subterranean Grimm. This left the town completely exposed and the remaining citizens beyond saving. With no other recourse, Vale sealed off the tunnels permanently, creating the world's largest tomb. The ruins of Mountain Glenn now stand as a reminder for history to reflect upon.

it was later found out the white fang that escaped vale have moved there and set up a base some where at the city

any way the Venator arrives at Mountain Glenn near the republic base as the hanger doors  on the left and right side of the shop open as Gunship take off with a few carrying AT TE and head down to the base  and some head to the city it self

the group of 22 gunships head ground side with 1 gunships heading to the city why the other 20 head to the base to drop of supplies and split up in to groups to hunt down grimm and one one LAAT we see the door open showing Commander Cody in his amour along with team RWBY, Doctor Oobleck and 212th clone trooper in different amour as they wore Desert Camo ARF Scout Trooper as they had DC-15S Blaster Carbine and DC-15A Blaster Rifle

as the gunship flew they all held on to the handles above there head as Yang look at  Oobleck  " I guess I just never saw you as much of a fighter."

Oobleck look back at yang " I admit I fancy myself more of an intellectual, but I can assure you, as a Huntsman, I've had my fair share of tussles."

Ruby tilting her head in confusion spoke " Like the mushroom?"

Blake leans over " Those are truffles."

Ruby Still scratching her head in befuddlement " Like the sprout?"

Weiss leans over " Those are Brussels."

Oobleck decide to carry on " Besides, given my expertise in the field of history as well as my dabblings in the archaeological surveys, our dear headmaster saw fit to assign me to this particular... assignment!"

Cody nods " the same can be said for Ironwood by us" he adds in  as the gunship had him and over 20 clones in it " it also because what happen here not to long a go"

"you mean the droid attack that was on the news " Yang ask looking over to the commander

Cody nods " yes i was there in retaking the base and taking down the droid group it self and it was hard going we lost a lot of food men but due to grimm flooding back we been working hard to get our old base up and running and clear grimm out that why me and 20 of my men be with you on this mission" Cody says

" well this be fun" yang adds in

"thow i have to ask " weiss look at Oobleck " What does history have to do with this?"

"Why, what a preposterous question, you silly girl! Why, history is the backbone of our very society! And the liver! Probably the kidneys, if I were to wager." Oobleck says as he look down to weiss

"And that means..?" Weiss ask still confused

"The southeast quadrant outside of Vale is home to wild forests and deep caves, but it is also the location to one of the kingdom's greatest failures!"Oobleck adds in as the city come in to few the city of Mountain Glenn.

"Mountain Glenn." ruby adds in 

"hat's right! It was an expansion of Vale... but in the end it was overrun by Grimm and fenced off from the rest of the city." a clone adds in  

"Correct! And now it stands abandoned as a dark reminder." Cody adds in as he look at them" but that change if we can clear the grimm out and secure the area" he says as he look back at the city " And a likely place for a hideout."

Oobleck adjusts his glasses and smile "Precisely!"

the LAAT comes in over a spot of street amidst the ruined buildings and structures of the ruined area. It hovers right above the ground the door open as Team RWBY Oobleck, cody and his men all hop off the gunship with weapons drawn before the ship flies away from the destruction.and head back to the near by base as Oobleck look at team RWBY " Ladies! You still may be students, but as of this moment, your first mission as Huntresses has begun! From this point forward, you need to do exactly as I say! Do you understand?" he ask as the girls nod, but he suddenly looks at Ruby, startling her "Ruby! I thought I told you to leave all of your bags back at school."

before Cody can speak Oobleck zoom past him and and snatching the pet away from Ruby, who tumbles to the ground as Oobleck spins Zwei in the air. " ok what did we walk in too" a voice ask as the team look over seeing a group of 6 clone walking over  with two leading as one had marking of a faunce and a tally marks on his helmet why the other had a red arrow and a symbol this was  Boil and Waxier

  Boil and Waxier had been with a small team of clone searching near by areas and locating grimm hives or nest and reporting them back to the base so other clone troopers can be sent out to take them out they also been keeping a eye out for white fang after getting a report of what happen at the dance and in the office by cody and ironwood "    Waxier, Boil good to see you to"

Boil salutes " good to see you to commander  " he says

" sorry were late were taking down a pack of grimm south west of here " Waxier adds in as he walk over this brought the team number up to 26 clone now 

"where the rest of your unit " Cody ask sins before the team had 12 clones

" they returned to base sir a few were injured and we sent them back to base with a few solder to help protect them" Boil says  to cody

" i see " Cody says as he turned to the group

" so what going on there " Waxier ask pointing at the team  talking about ruby dog

" you don't want to know " cody says as he face palm 

"So, what are your orders, Doctor?"  Blake ask  Oobleck

"Ah, yes, straight to the chase; I like it!" Oobleck as he suddenly lets go of Zwei, suspended in the air for less than a second before dropping down, to put his hands behind his back for a serious pose " As you've been informed, the southeast area has been marked as a recent hot spot for Grimm activity. Now, there are several possible explanations for this behavior, one of which being... Grimm."

team rwby look at each over confused before ruby spoke "Uh, what?"

" Grimm. A creature of Grimm approximately one hundred yards from us at this very moment." Oobleck informs them as  as the clone and Team RWBY at the lone Beowolf wandering into the stree as they all  unleashing their weapons.

" blast it " cody orders

"no wait"  Oobleck orders  "There are a number of reasons why Grimm will congregate in this particular area, the most likely of which will be their attraction to negativity: sadness, envy, loneliness, hatred. All qualities that are likely held by our hidden group harbouring ill intent."

" So... What now?" Ruby ask wondering

" we wait and track it " boil says cutting Oobleck off before he can speak 

Waxier nods agreeing with his brothers "he right We wait. We track. If this specimen leads us to its pack, that pack may subsequently lead us to our prey or to even more grimm" Waxier says

Oobleck  nods " i could not of said it better my self"

" so how long do we wait " blake ask wondering

" depends could be hours, days, weeks, months " Cody says to blake

"he is right, lone Grimm have been known to stay isolated from the pack for months "Oobleck adds in as he then saw some thing " and there's the whole pack. "

His sudden realization is true: Five Beowolves are already following the first. as weiss spoke up" what " she says shocked

 Oobleck Continuing to state the obvious" And now they've seen us."

" what " weiss says again louder still shock

Oobleck coming right up to Weiss' ear to shout "AND NOW THEY'VE SEEN US!"

" I take it tracking them is out of the question?" Ruby ask

" your right there " Cody says as he turn to the clone " men ready your weapons" he orders as the clone race there blasters

The team turns to their teacher as the creatures close in, black bars converging dramatically over the approaching animals. as Oobleck pushed his glass up "Show me what you're capable of."

Ruby Swings Crescent Rose to prepare it for shooting "Cover your ears, Zwei!" she says as the dog does so, curling up into a ball.

Black lines race across the screen as a single Beowolf and smiling Yang run towards one another, ending with the blonde knocking it out in one fiery punch as they pass. Several stop chasing after the party girl to focus on Blake, who stands and waits with hand on her hilt until one of the enemy swipes at her afterimage, the real deal slicing her would-be attacker in half before slashing through another and cutting down on one more.

Behind the Faunus, Weiss runs from several black-coated beasts before jumping in the air and taking one down with Myrtenaster. She dashes towards them with rapier held high and slays four of them in a straight line until she stops. A wave of Beowolves are converging on Ruby, but the scythe wielder shoots multiple bullets at the oncoming force... while Zwei is busy chasing his own tail. He stops to watch his owner fire forward and, after a dramatic mid-air stare-off, cut the  a Grimm in two.

mean time Cody, Waxier and Boil all take aime and fire there blaster at the in coming grimm mowing them down as Cody spoke " let them eat heat"

"come on you dirt bags come get some " boil yells as they clone kept shooting blaster shots hitting the last wave of grimm as they ran at the clone and get dropped one by one

as the grimm go down Cody spoke " good job men now split up and start securing the area" cody orders

" sir yes sir "the clone yell spitting up in to 4 group of five and one group of six  and start heading off to take down stray grimm and secure the area

Cody turned to Oobleck " here take this " he hand him a radio " me and my men going to go and hunt down a few more grimm and secure the area contact us when you set up camp"

Oobleck nods " very well and good hunting commander " Oobleck   says as he watch cody and the clone split in to there groups and go on the hunt for grimm

"Heh. Piece of cake!" Ruby says as she and team rwby finish off the near by grimm  that had attack them

 "Do not celebrate yet, for I am certain this is the first bout of many. Shall we continue?"  Oobleck says as  they continue they do, as it cuts to Ruby cutting through the scene change, Blake slicing the previous shift, and a random slash going to the view of Oobleck rooting through a plant as Grimm parts fall around him. He is center in the faces of tired Huntresses as the newest batch of slain monster corpses start smoking, Oobleck happily cries "Excellent work, girls! Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any signs of criminal operations in this sector. Oh, well! Moving on!"

As they follow Oobleck, with Ruby sheathing her scythe and beckoning Zwei to follow, Yang irritably asks "Hey, Doc, y'know, I was actually looking forward to seeing a "pro Huntsman" in action. Like, fighting, or at least, helping us fight?"

"Ah, but I am in action! Scouring the ruins of this once-great city for any signs of irregularity" Oobleck says as he look at the team "Not every mission is filled with daring and heroism, girls. Sometimes it's just a heightened form of extermination!" he says and look at yang " Remember, this is a job, and you all signed up for it. I do hope you understand that."

Yang trying to sound more resolute with her answer " Well, yeah... O-Of course!"

The scene changes to the view of another victory for RWBY and their mentor amid the noise of fired shots, but switches again to Oobleck and Yang away from the group. "Tell me, Yang: Why did you choose this line of work?" Oobleck ask

"Huh" yang ask confused as why Under Oobleck's gaze, she answers "Well, to fight monsters and save-"

"No, that is what you do. I want to know why you do it. The honest reason as to why you want to be a Huntress." Oobleck ask why cutting her off

Yang stops and think as she considers this and then answers " The honest reason? I'm a thrill-seeker. I want to travel around the world and get wrapped up in as many crazy adventures as I can. And if I help people along the way, then that's even better. It's a win-win, y'know?"

"I see." Oobleck says as  One claw-scratch transition later, Oobleck is sitting on a high windowsill writing in his journal while Weiss fights off Beowolves below. " And you, Miss Schnee? A girl born into fame and fortune such as yourself certainly doesn't need the extra work. So... why choose this over a cushy job in Atlas?" Oobleck ask weiss 

After Weiss impales the last foe on her blade and drops the body "It's exactly as you said: I'm a Schnee. I have a legacy of honor to uphold. Once I realized I was capable of fighting, there was no longer a question of what I would do with my life. It was my duty."

Nodding Oobleck spoke " Interesting" he say as Oobleck jumps down into the next scene, where Blake slashes a door down and releases a swarm of small Nevermores from the building, which she back-flips under before she shoots them all with her blade's pistol form as Oobleck examines the inside of the doorway "And what about you, Blake? You seem to carry yourself with a sense of purpose."

Blake turns to him "There's too much wrong in this world to just stand by and do nothing. Inequality, corruption... Someone has to stop it."

Oobleck who intrested look at her "Very well. How?"

Blake look at him as suddenly, she cannot answer "I, Uh..."

Oobleck "Hmm's" to himself, then dashes away, leaving Blake to bow her head in troubled thought. as Later, Ruby is using her weapon in the most practical fashion and lifting a whole turkey on the sharp end of her gun to tease a jumping and flipping Zwei with. That is, until she spots her teacher watching, quickly sheathing Crescent Rose. as ruby spoke " sorry! Uh... Are we ready to keep going?"

"Nope! I believe that will have to do for today. It's going to be dark soon" Oobleck says as he throws his bag over to Yang, who makes a sound when she catches it "You three, set up camp in that building. Oh, and please do make sure there are no more of those... creatures. Your leader and I are going to secure the perimeter" he says and look to Ruby "Come, Ruby." They start walking away from the rest of RWBY, who each look at their leader, knowing what she'll be asked and as they walk Oobleck pulled out a radio " commander cody do you read" he ask over the radio

a few moments go by before cody voice came threw " reading you sir what up"

" we clear out most of the grimm and as we speak the rest of team RWBY are setting up camp in a near by budling  north east  "  Oobleck replies

"copy me and a small team head your way now why other set up camp some where ealse " Cody informs him over the radio

"copy" Oobleck says as he end the call

Oobleck and Ruby round the corner of a building, she sees something as ruby spoke "Whaaaa..." as in the midst of it, a line of giant elephants with the black and white features of animals of darkness marching through the trees "What is that? It looks awesome!"

"That, my dear girl, is a Grimm." Oobleck says walking over 

Ruby stares at the lumbering mass of monsters in amazement and awe before pulling out her gun, saying "Let's kill it."

"I'm afraid your sniper rifle will do nothing more than agitate a Grimm of that size." Oobleck says

ruby confused look at the good doctor " But... What if it attacks us?"

"Fret not, Ruby; those Goliaths are not concerned with us. Ruby, not every Grimm is mindless, or rather not every Grimm is still mindless. You see, the Grimm you see before you are so powerful, so superior to the Grimm you fought, that they've undoubtedly lived hundreds of years, and in that time between killing humans and attacking our borders, they have done one important thing: They've learned. They've learned that when they attack our borders, they're likely to die, and what we lack in strength, we make up for in will, and that killing one human will only bring more." Oobleck says to her with a small smile and as he says this, one Goliath swivels its thick neck to look at the figures watching their procession, eyes glowing as fiery red as any other Grimm. 

"Then why are they still so close to the city? What are they doing?" Rub ask wondering

"Waiting" Oobleck says and as he says this, the Goliath turns its head forward again and moves on with its kin. Oobleck turns around and walks away as well, and Ruby puts away her weapon, not moving.

"Doctor Oobleck?... I was wondering..." Ruby says looking at him

Oobleck stops walking and turns back to her "Wondering why I've been interrogating your teammates all day?"

Ruby look at him " A-Actually, I was wondering... Why did you want to become a Huntsman?"

Oobleck smiled hearing this as he look around " Look around and tell me what you see."

"Lots of old buildings, uh, empty streets..." Ruby says confused

"I see lives that could have been saved." Oobleck says as he continues walking with Ruby beside him and Zwei at their heels "As a Huntsman, it is my job to protect the people, and although I am capable of doing it with traditional weaponry, I believe I can make a much larger impact if I do it with my mind. As a teacher, I'm able to take knowledge, the most powerful weapon of them all, and place it in the hands of every student that passes through my classroom. I look at this wasteland, and I see lives that could have been saved, but I also see an opportunity; an opportunity to study these ruins and learn from this tragedy, and therefore become stronger." he stops for his final answer as he turned to Ruby "I am a Huntsman, Ruby, because there is nothing else in this world I would rather be."

Ruby smiled as Cody walk in " that nice to know"

" ah commander good to see you" Oobleck says as he turn to Cody " how gose your part of the mission"

" so far we root out small groups of grimm and nest and taken them down most of my men have set up camp in other place and some returned to our base " Cody walked over as he look around " me, waxier, boil and 6 others join you at your camp " he says

" commander " Ruby says looking at Cody " what about you, why you a solder"

Cody sighed as he look at ruby  "truth be told I've known no other way ....... Gives us clones all a mixed feeling about the war.... Many people wished it never happened. But without it, us clones wouldn't exist and we wonder when the grimm are whiped out what will happen to us We're soldiers. What happens to us then?"

"  well Remnant couldn't have asked for better soldiers and i am glad i got to meet you all" Ruby says as she smiled witch made cody smiled as the group soon turn to leave

Back at the building, the team has done as instructed, building a fire in the center of the room and huddling around it or standing up yang who standing spoke " i can't believe we didn't find anything..."

Blake look at her "We've always been fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time. I guess we can't always have luck on our side."

Weiss who  was  on guard spoke " That's not what I meant." she says before walking over " Earlier, about... upholding the legacy. There's more to it than that."

Yang look at her as she was out of it " Yeah... No, me too. I mean... I don't know."

"I don't know, either. I know what I want to do, but I figured I'd always take things one step at a time." Blake add in

 "Well, it doesn't matter. We know why we're here. Right?"  yang says as she look at the others

The girls merely stare in silence just as Oobleck, Ruby, Cody, wxier, boil and 6 other clone arrive the clone taking up postion on watch as Oobleck spoke " Ah, wonderful; a textbook campfire!" he says as Ruby move to the fire and warm up " Very good! Eat your dinners and hurry to bed. We have a lot of ground to cover tomorrow and we'll need you to take turns keeping watch over our temporary abode. Any volunteers for first watch?" he ask

Cody spoke up " we got fist, 2nd and all watchs sir" he says

"i help to " Ruby adds in

Oobleck nods as he rrushes off, and Ruby gets up to go over to her lookout point. with the clone so all sides are cover as yang look at Ruby "Hey, did Oobleck ask you why you wanted to be a Huntress? I mean... what did you tell him?"

Ruby look at her " Hmm... No, he didn't. Weird. Oh, well; good night, guys!" and Without a second carefree thought, she continues on her way.

Yang looks disappointed in the lack of an answer. Blake is similarly troubled as she unrolls her mat, Weiss tries lying down but fails to sleep, Yang half-heatedly eats her dinner of bread rolls. Soon, all three Huntresses are on their backs around the fire, weapons within easy access, wondering why they are there.

Ruby, meanwhile, is sitting in the vacant windowsill of the room as Zwei goes over to her upon hearing the howling of Beowolves. She pets her pooch on the back. "Don't worry. Things will be better tomorrow."Ruby says  as Master and pet look out onto the rubble and stare in silence until the scene goes dark and the credits roll.
