15. 100 Ways To Say "I Love You"
A/n
I was looking at writing tips and one of them was "100 ways to say 'I love you'" and of course none of them were actually "I love you" but one of them was "I'm sorry for your loss" and I was like really emotional for around two minutes because I remember I was at a funeral for someone very close to me and my boyfriend (we weren't dating at the time) was there for me the whole time and I didn't even realize it, but he loved me then.
Just wanted to say that, I don't know why.
Don't forgot to share your thoughts, I'm lonely and have no friends.

Squip didn't know what to do. Jeremy had grown distant from him, spending his days at school alone and his nights in his room, also alone. Whenever Squip tried to talk to him, Jeremy would make the lame excuse of needing to do "homework".
Almost a week had gone by and Jeremy still hadn't opened up to Squip since the night Squip found out Jeremy was cutting. Things with Michael hadn't gotten any better. After refusing Rich's offer of friendship (because his Squip no doubt had some sort of evil scheme) Michael had ignored both Jeremy and Squip, spending most of his time with Rich.
Quantum Entanglement told him that the two were romantically involved. Or would be. Current and possible timelines could be hard to differentiate sometimes.
Squip rubbed his head, staring at the carpeted floor of Jeremy's living room. His father walked in and Squip immediately turned himself invisible. He didn't want to explain why he was in his house, he didn't even know why he was in his house. Jeremy obviously didn't want anything to do with him.
Maybe he should leave.
Squip tapped his chin, feeling the scruffy stubble along his jaw. Jeremy's father sighed, peeling off his pants and tossing them in the direction of the couch. Squip dodged the jeans and leaped off of the sofa. He heard Jeremy call from his room, "Keep your pants on, Dad!"
Mr. Heere swore quite loudly, walking toward Squip, staring right through him. Squip stood frozen, mind overwhelmed with possible outcomes of this situation. He watched Mr. Heere draw ever nearer, reaching for his inside out pants and cussing once more.
Squip groaned internally, forcing his legs to move toward their stairs. Maybe he should leave, that's obviously what Jeremy wanted. But was it what Jeremy needed?
Squip watched Mr. Heere fumble with the fly of his pants. Jeremy didn't need to be alone with a parent who couldn't get his shit together after his mom left. He shook his head, marching up the steps with a new energy, turning off his invisibility.
He knocked on Jeremy's door, pushing it open and peeking inside. "Hey, Jere," he said softly.
Jeremy looked up from his laptop, furrowing his brows slightly as his mouth fell open slightly. Squip shut the door quickly, rushing over to him and cupping his cheeks with his hands.
"I thought you were downstairs, updating or something."
Squip pressed their lips together briefly, smiling at Jeremy, "I was, but then your dad came home and I feel like we haven't really talked in a while."
Jeremy frowned, "I guess so."
"You okay, Jere?"
The small boy made a quiet squeaking noise, frantically nodding his head.
Squip raised an eyebrow, running a hand down Jeremy's arm to his hand. "You sure? I know you feel what I feel for you, so why do you keep shutting me out?"
Jeremy shrugged, staring at Squip's hand on his. "But you don't feel the same," he raised his dull eyes to meet Squip's bright ones, "I like you a lot, like so much it hurts, I've, I wrote you a letter, but I flushed it, but, but, but..."
"Jeremy," Squip interrupted, "talk to me, just take a deep breath, kay?"
Tears began falling down Jeremy's cheeks. "I love you Squip! I love you so goddamn much and I hate it! You say you like me but you hardly pay attention to me just like everyone else at school. They all hate me, they hate me because of what I've done. And you, you, you're just gonna forget me like everyone else. I'm invisible."
Squip didn't know how to respond, but only pulled him out of his desk chair and into his arms. He carried him over to his bean bag chair and plopped down, hugging the skinny man tightly. A strange feeling came up through his stomach, like little butterflies flying from his heart. "I see you, Jeremy, I'm never going to just leave you, okay? In a way, you complete me, so to speak. You're the reason I exist and the reason I'm still here, trying desperately to show you how much I care about you."
Jeremy smiled a little, making the butterflies in his stomach fly up to his throat. Squip began caressing Jeremy's cheek, the other arm still tightly wrapped around him. He made a pouty face, rubbing his nose against Jeremy's.
The boy's small smile turned to a grin. Jeremy hesitantly reached out and ran a hand through Squip's hair. They both leaned in a little, lips barely touching. Jeremy moved against him, giggling girlishly. Squip pulled away, laughing at his lover. "You're so silly."
Jeremy just buried his face in Squip's chest, "I'm happy you're back. And don't hate me."
"I'd never hate you," he placed a hand in Jeremy's greasy hair, shaking his head slightly, "but Jeremy?"
"Yeah?"
"Take a shower, okay? It feels like you put a pizza in there."
He looked up at Squip, blushing. "I may have been stress eating a bit."
Squip laughed, "That's okay, sweetie. I should make you ramen sometime, I can make some killer noodles."
"I'd like that," Jeremy said, pressing their lips together.
Then, the door opened and they both heard the sound of Mr. Heere gasping.
