Hello everyone, my name is Park y/n, I am the youngest in my family, I have an older brother, his name is Park Seonghwa. When we were young, we were separated, my parents took Seonghwa, and I was taken care of by my aunt. Because I was so young when we separated, I have no memories of my parents or my brother, and about my parents, well, they seem to forget me, they never visit me, it just seems like they don't care about me.

Y/n pov

I am still living with my aunt now, she is really nice and cares about me, I feel like she is like my real parents, as for my real parents, I never think about them again. I'm in middle school now, the only bad thing about school is that I was always bullied by kids, I kept quiet about it, I didn't tell my aunt or teachers, because I didn't want them to worry about me. And little did I know that everything was going to be changing soon.

Two Years later

It is finally summer break time, I went home.

Y/n: Aunt, I'm home!

Y/n/a: Y/n, I am in the living room.

So I went to the living room and surprise to see there's a strange couple sitting there with my Aunt.

Y/n: Aunt, I am back.

Y/n/a: Oh y/n, here you are, come meet Mr.Park and Mrs.Park, your parents.

Y/n:What?

What my Aunt says makes me shocked and I was speechless. I stay in silence for a long time, and my Aunt looks worried.

Y/n/A: Y/n, honey, are you okay? Please say something.

Y/n: Hi Mom, hi dad.

Y/n/m: Oh my goddess Y/n, look at you, you've grown up so much, last time we saw you, you were a little kid, and look at you now, you have growing up to a beautiful young lady.

Third person pov

Y/n went to her mother and hug her, and when they separate apart they sit down together and Y/n's dad started to talk.

Y/n/d: Y/n, dear, we are here because we want to ask you if you would like to come and live with us, knowing that you are about to become an adult and that by law you should live with your legal guardian. But that doesn't mean you have to come with us, we want to know what is your decision, and we will respect your decision.

Y/n is a little bit overwhelmed, because deep down in her heart, she wants to go with them. But she doesn't want to leave her aunt, and she doesn't know what to do now.

Y/n/A: Y/n honey, I think it's best that you go with your parents, as much as I don't want to, but it's best that you stay with them because I'm not your legal guardian. But that doesn't mean you'll never see me, you can visit me whenever you want.

After think about it for a moment, y/n finally makes her decision.

Y/n: I will go.

Y/n/m: Sorry, what did you say?

Y/n's mom is a little bit shocked by her answer, so y/n repeated it again.

Y/n: I said I will go with you.

Y/n/m: Really?

Y/n: Yes.

Y/n's mom is so happy to hear that as an answer. She smiled and said that they will be staying for a few more days to let Y/n have some time to spend with her auntie. Y/n is happy to hear that and she started to plan a few things that she wanted to do with her auntie before she was gone.

They have enjoyed the time of being together, spending time watching movies, go out to the park for a walk, go eat and play in the amusement park. And before they realized it, it was already the time for Y/n to leave.

The final day is here now, y/n wake up in the morning, after stretched herself, and did her morning routine. She went downstairs to have breakfast with her aunt. After breakfast, she checked her luggage to make sure that she has packed everything and would not forget anything. Her aunt has also packed a pack of snacks for her to eat on the way home. And they waited for a few minutes before Y/n's parents arrived.

Y/n/a: They are here.

Y/n: Alright, I am ready.

Y/n/a: Have you packed everything? Did you forgotten anything? Do you need anything else?

Y/n: Yes, I did, thank you Auntie.

Y/n/a: Alright.

Y/n's mom came in.

Y/n/m: Hi Y/n dear, ready to go?

Y/n: Yes mom.

Y/n/m: That's my girl.

Y/n's father came in to help Y/n with her luggage.

Y/n/d: Is this all?

Y/n: Yes dad, thank you.

Y/n/d: No problem.

Y/n: Also can you give me a few minutes to say goodbye to auntie?

Y/n/d: Of course.

Y/n/m: Take your time, we will be waiting for you in the car.

Y/n:Alright.

Y/n's parents bid their goodbye, and then they went to the car, leave the two of us alone.

Y/n: Goodbye auntie, I will miss you.

Y/n/a: Goodbye Y/n, I will miss you too, take care.

Y/n: I will, you too.

Y/n/a: I will, and remember that if you need anything or need a place to stay, you can always call me.

Y/n: Okay, thank you so much.

Y/n/a: No need, you are my niece after all.

They shared a hug

Y/n: I love you.

Y/n/a: I love you too, now you should get going, it's getting late. Come visit me when you have time.

Y/n/a: Goodbye.

We got home in the afternoon, and we got off the car, my mother opened the door, and my father helped me with my luggage. After unlocked the door, we walked into the house, I found it was a two-storey house, there were 4 rooms and a bathroom on the upstairs, kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room, toilet and a big bedroom they are all on the downstairs.

Third person pov

After they closed the door, Y/n heard some footsteps from upstairs, and a short time later she saw a tall boy who look just a little bit older than her came down and greet the parents.

???: Hello appa and eomma, glad you guys come back, how are you guys doing?

Y/n/d: We are doing good, everything went smooth and great. How are you my son?

???: I am doing good, and who is this? (He turned to look at Y/n)

Y/n/d: Hey son, I know this is probably a bit unexpected, but she is actually your biological younger sister.

???: What???

Y/n/d: I am sorry that we didn't tell you about this, but anyways, Seonghwa, come and meet your sister Y/n. Y/n, come and meet your brother.

Y/n: Hello, my name is Y/n.

???: Hello y/n, nice to meet you. My name is Seonghwa.

Y/n: We'll, it's nice to meet you too Seonghwa, or maybe I should call you hyung?

Seonghwa: Call me whatever you like.

Y/n: Okay then, I will call you hyung.

Seonghwa: Sounds good, by the way, are these your luggages?

Y/n: Yes they are.

Y/n/d: Seonghwa, if you like, can you please show Y/n her room and let her unpack her stuff.

Seonghwa: Alright then, follow me, I will take you to your room.

Y/n: Okay, thank you.

Seonghwa: No problem.

After that, Seonghwa takes her luggages and walk upstairs with y/n followed behind him, and he showed her to her room.

Seonghwa: Here we are. This is your bedroom. Mine is next door to yours. If you need anything, you can come and tell me.

Y/n: Okay, thank you so much.

Seonghwa: No need, we are siblings after all.

After saying that, he smiled and ruffled her hair, then he went back to his room. And y/n stay in the same spot for a minute then she went into her room and started to unpack her things. After unpacking, she went to take a shower, then she took a nap and when she wakes up, she went downstairs for dinner.

After finally reuniting and living together with her family, y/n settles down and starts to get used to everything, but she is distant from her brother, because she is afraid that he might not like her or hates her. On the other hand, Seonghwa is care about Y/n, and he is wondering why she doesn't talk to him and keep avoid him.

Today their parents was not home, they went to one of their friends place to visit them. And since it is summer break, Seonghwa and Y/n don't have school, so they stayed in home. And Seonghwa decided that today he will go and talk to Y/n to sort things out. He went to the kitchen to make breakfast for him and Y/n, then call her down.

He went to her room and knocked on the door, but no one answered. So he walked in, the whole room is dark, and by the little bit light from the outside, he could see a form of a person on the bed under the covers. He walked over, sit down on the bedside, kiss the person's forehead and lightly shakes her.

Seonghwa: Hey y/n, time to wake up. The breakfast is ready.

The person, which now we know is y/n, have murmured something and turn away. Seeing her like this melts Seonghwa's heart, he smiled and shakes her again. And this time, she finally turned back, stirred and wake up.

y/n: Good morning, what time is it? (Asking with sleepy voice)

Seonghwa: Good morning, it's time to wake up and eat breakfast.

y/n: Okay. (Look at him and smiled)

Seonghwa: You can wake up and get ready. I will wait for you downstairs.

After saying that, he smiled and planted a kiss on y/n's forehead, then he walk out, close the door and went down stairs.

Y/n pov

After he went downstairs, I got up, take off my pajamas, get dressed and did my morning routine, then I went down stairs. And when I got there, I saw him in the kitchen. So I walk over to the kitchen.

y/n: Good morning, I am here.

Seonghwa: Ah~, so you have finally decided to wake up huh? I see. (Turn back and smiled at me)

y/n: Yeah, because someone wake me up at this early in the morning.

Seonghwa: I am sorry, but if you keep sleeping, you will not have time to do anything, and won't be able to sleep again at nighttime.

y/n: I forgive you. By the way, what's for breakfast?

Seonghwa: Pancakes with syrup, Jane and chocolate spread. Also milk for you and coffee for me.

y/n: Sounds good, I am hungry.

Seonghwa: Okay, you can go sit, I will serve the breakfast in a minute.

y/n: Alright.

She went to the dining area and sit down wait for the breakfast to be served. And few minutes later, Seonghwa come out of the kitchen with two plates of pancakes and a cup of milk and a cup of coffee, he set them on the table, sit down and start to eat.

As they sat across from each other, the silence lingered for a few moments, broken only by the clinking of utensils against their plates.

Seonghwa glanced up from his pancakes and observed Y/n. She seemed focused on her food, but he could tell there was something on her mind. Her avoidance of him these past few weeks had been weighing heavily on his heart. So Seonghwa cleared his throat softly, trying to break the tension. "

Seonghwa: So, Y/n, how have you been? I feel like we haven't talked much since you moved in.

Y/n hesitated, her fork pausing mid-air. She glanced at him briefly before looking back at her plate and replied quietly.

y/n: I've been fine, just trying to get used to everything.

He nodded but didn't let her evasive answer deter him.

Seonghwa: I know it's a big change. Moving to a new place and having to adjust to a new life and routine can be overwhelming. But I want you to know that I'm here for you. You don't have to go through it all alone.

And his words make Y/n felt a lump form in her throat. She had been avoiding him, unsure of how to navigate their relationship. And she doesn't even know if he genuinely cared or if he was just trying to be polite. So she mumbled, and her voice is barely above a whisper.

y/n: I... I know.

Seeing her like this careful and unsure, Seonghwa sighed softly, setting his fork down and asked.

Seonghwa: Y/n, can I ask you something? Why do you avoid me? Did I do something to upset you?"

And it makes her eyes widened in surprise, also guilt comes in and flooded in her chest. She hadn't realized how much her behavior had been affected Seonghwa. So she set her fork down as well and folded her hands in her lap fidgeting nervously.

y/n: It's not that, hyung. It's just, I didn't know if you'd like me or not.

And hearing this, made his heart ached at her words. So he leaned forward, took a hold of her hand, look at her and said with a gentle but firm tone.

Seonghwa: Y/n, why would you think that? You're my sister. Of course I like you. I don't hate or dislike you at all. If there's anything that I can think about is that I am worried about you.

And she finally met his gaze, and her eyes shimmering with uncertainty.

y/n: I just, I just don't know. I guess I was scared. I didn't want to make things awkward or bad for you or intrude on your life.

And Seonghwa shook his head with a soft smile playing on his lips.

Seonghwa: You're not intruding. This is your home too, Y/n. And you're one of the family members and my sister. I've been wanting to spend time with you, but I didn't, because I don't want to push you. I just want you to feel comfortable here and know that you're not alone."

And Y/n's shoulders relaxed slightly at his reassurance.

y/n: I'm sorry for avoiding you. I didn't mean to make you feel bad.

And he smiled warmly. "No need to apologize. I just want us to start fresh. Let's not overthink things, okay? Let's just take it one step at a time."

And she nodded, with a small smile tugs on her lips. "Okay. I'll try."

Seonghwa: And that's all I ask. Now, finish your pancakes before they get cold."

Y/n laughed softly, also the tension in the room got eased. And for the first time in a while, she felt a little more at ease and closer to her brother, for the first time, she realized that maybe, just maybe, she could get settled down and find a sense of family and belonging here.

As they continued eating, the conversation became more casual. Seonghwa asked about her hobbies, her favorite movies, and her plans for the future . Slowly but surely, Y/n found herself opening up, her walls coming down bit by bit.

By the end of breakfast, the air between them felt more lighter than before. Seonghwa stood up to clear the table, and Y/n offered help. As they worked together in the kitchen, she realized that the brother she had been so scared to approach was, in fact, someone she could trust and leaned on. And for the first time in a long time, she feel like she was home.
