You were walking down the hallway, minding your business when Dohyun came up behind you and shoved you into the lockers.
"Hello, little miss adopted."
You rolled your eyes. "Nice to see you to, Dohyun."
"I heard a little rumor about you and Mingi."
"Excuse me?"
He laughed and inched closer to your face with his. "I heard you guys got caught fucking in the bathroom."
You pushed him off of you, making him fall on the ground. You grabbed his collar and punched him in the face, not thinking straight.
"Just because I'm adopted, doesn't mean I would do that. Mingi is my brother, you son of a bitch!"
You continued beating on the poor boy until you felt someone pulling you off of him.
"Don't touch me!"
"Y/N. It's Mingi."
You sighed and turned around, not looking at your brother. "Sorry. I didn't know it was you."
"What happened? Dohyun is nearly unconscious."
You groaned and looked up at him. "Everyone thinks we're sleeping together, Mingi. All because I'm adopted."
"Well, we know that's not true. Plus, I know that you have your heart set on Yeosang."
You smiled at the name. "Yeah."
Both of you walked to the cafeteria, as it was lunch time. You sat at your table, where you, Mingi, and Yeosang all sat together.
"Y/N, the blood on your knuckles?" Yeosang questioned.
You sighed. "Don't ask."
"She beat the life out of Dohyun." Mingi stated.
Yeosang looked at you. "Did he say something about you and Mingi again?"
You nodded. Ever since you transferred to the school after Mingi's parents adopted you, Dohyun gave you hell for it. You weren't sure why he did what he did, but it sure did piss you off. It was something about him that set you off more than anyone else, but you couldn't figure it out, and he smelt really bad sometimes, which made your aggression towards him worse for some reason.
Yeosang smiled at you. "Don't think about it too much, Y/N."
Your heart fluttered and you smiled back at him. "What are you guys doing tonight?" You asked.
Mingi shrugged. "We'll probably sneak out later tonight."
You thought for a moment. Wasn't it a full moon?
"No way. You guys can't sneak out tonight." You said.
Yeosang tilted his head. "Why not?"
"It's a full moon. Bad things happen on full moons."
The boys raised an eyebrow at you. "I'm pretty sure we'll be fine, Y/N." Yeosang patted your hand.
You sighed and rested your head in your palm. It was dangerous on full moons, and you always told them that, but they insisted on doing whatever it was they wanted to do.
Later that night, you were sitting in your room when you heard a loud thud from outside. You got up and looked out your window, rolling your eyes and opening it.
"Seriously? I told you guys that it was a full moon."
"Y/N, we'll be fine. We're just going on a walk."
Mingi said that every time, but something felt different this time. After they had gotten out of the yard, you quietly snuck out your window and followed them. It looked like they were headed towards the woods, which wasn't good, especially on a full moon.
You followed them deeper into the woods and kept an eye out, but you looked away for one second.
You heard a yell and snapped your head in the direction of the boys. Your heart dropped, your eyes turned a deep shade of red, and your fangs came out.
You ran over to the boys, putting yourself in between them and the werewolf. You recognized the scent of the werewolf, you could never forget it, and you nearly got sick.
"You're the bastard that killed my parents." You growled.
The wolf simply growled, baring it's teeth, and stepped closer to you. It charged, but you simply kicked the wolf and grabbed it by its fur, holding it to the ground. The wolf turned into human form, and you had never met the man. He was a complete stranger to you, but his scent wasn't.
You bent down to his neck and bit him, draining him as he died in your grasp. Once you got up, you felt sick at the taste of that scumbags blood, and you ended up throwing it all up.
After you got yourself together, you wiped your mouth and turned to Mingi, seeing him kneeling next to Yeosang, holding a wound you hadn't noticed, and looking up at you in shock.
You ran over to them and moved Mingi's hand.
"No," you mumbled. "No."
Your heart dropped at the werewolf scratch on Yeosang's ribcage. You picked him up and helped Mingi up.
"I'll explain everything, but we need to help Yeosang."
You and Mingi rushed home, and when you got there, you laid Yeosang on your bed.
"Think, Y/N, think." You mumbled.
You needed hybrid blood to cure Yeosang of the scratch, or else he'd turn into a werewolf or die, but you didn't know if you knew any hybrids.
And thats when you realized it.
That smell that came from Dohyun. Sometimes he smelt normal, like one of your own kind, and sometimes he smelt like a werewolf, and that made you want to tear him apart. He was a hybrid.
You frantically grabbed your phone out of your pocket and called Dohyun.
"What the hell do you want?" He groaned.
"Dohyun, I need your help. Really bad."
"After you beat the shit out of me? No way."
Your eyes watered. "Please, Dohyun. It's really serious." You told him, your voice cracking.
"Fine. Only because I've never heard you cry before."
He hung up and you threw your phone onto the chair. You looked at Yeosang, then at Mingi, who was staring at you with an extremely confused look on his face.
"What's going on?"
You sighed and turned your whole body to face him. "The reason I didn't want you guys to go out tonight was because of the full moon. I always tell you guys to stay inside on full moons, because I know what happens during one," You paused to take a breath. "Yeosang was attacked by a werewolf, and if he's not cured with a certain type of blood, he'll either die or turn into a werewolf. Both of which are not great options."
"Right," He shook his head slowly. "What are you, exactly?"
"I'm a," you paused and kissed your teeth. "vampire."
"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked.
Your eyes watered again. "I didn't want to scare you away. You, Mom, and Dad are the only family I have now."
"I'm not scared of you. You're my sister." He said, hugging you. "I heard you say something in the woods about that wolf killing your parents?"
You pulled away and looked up. "Yeah. That's why I was put up for adoption, because they were killed."
He nodded, and you jumped at the knock on your window. You turned around and opened it, seeing it was Dohyun.
"So, why did you need me so- oh my gosh." He started, but cut himself off once he looked at Yeosang.
Your vision blurred at the tears in your eyes. "I figured out that you were a hybrid, and I really need some of your blood. Please."
"What do I get out of it?" He smirked.
Your eyes turned red and your fangs came out.
"The love of my life is dying, and you want to know what you'll get out of it?" You growled.
"Woah, calm down, princess. Take some."
You grabbed a little vial off your desk and Dohyun bit his wrist. You let some of his blood fill up in the vial, then you went over to Yeosang. You sat him up and opened his mouth, pouring the red liquid down his throat.
Almost immediately, you noticed the scratch fading away, and Yeosang's eyes opened as he coughed and took in as much air as possible to get his oxygen back. You wrapped your arms around him, thankful that he was okay.
"Y/N, what happened?" He asked.
You pulled away and told him everything that happened, starting from the werewolf attack, to you forcing Dohyun's blood down his throat.
"You're a vampire?" He asked.
You nodded sheepishly. "I'm a Pure blood."
"How did you know I was a hybrid?" Dohyun asked.
You looked back at Dohyun. "There are some days where your stupid ass remarks don't bother me. Then there are days where that horrid werewolf scent of yours makes me want to tear you apart." You replied.
"You're smarter than me. I had no idea you were a vampire. That explains your wicked left hook, though." He said, rubbing his jaw.
You laughed and looked over at Yeosang, smiling at the boy. You got up and headed out of your room, patting Mingi on the head on your way out. You went down to the kitchen to get some water, and Yeosang joined you not long after you left your bedroom.
You set your water down and he came up to you, resting his hands on your hips. Your heart jumped and you thought it'd pop right out of your chest.
"I'm sorry we didn't listen to you tonight. I bet it was hard for you too see the same werewolf that killed your parents attack me, too."
"It's not your fault, Yeo."
He smiled and admired you for a second. "Gosh, you're such an amazing person. And the fact that you saved my life just makes me fall in love with you even more."
"Fall in love with me? What are you-"
He cut you off by gently pressing his lips to yours, and you gladly returned the kiss and put your arms around his neck. When you pulled away, you squinted your eyes at the smiling boy.
"Dohyun told you I called you the love of my life, didn't he?"
Yeosang smiled. "Hmm- yeah."
He kissed you again, and you were so distracted that you didn't even hear footsteps coming down the stairs.
"Ew! My eyes!"
"Save some sugar for me!"
You stopped and looked at the two boys who had yelled at the sight of you and Yeosang.
"Agh, I need to bleach my eyes." Mingi groaned.
"I gave your boyfriend the blessing of living. Shouldn't I get some love?" Dohyun asked.
You tilted your head at him. "If by love, you mean another sock to the face, then sure."
He pursed his lips and held his hands up. "Okay. I got it. No sugar for me."
You laughed and looked over at Mingi. "I'm happy for you. Though, I do need to get that image out of my head."
You shook your head, chuckling. You kissed Yeosang on the cheek and looked up at him.
"You'll protect me from all the bad guys, right?" He asked cutely.
You smiled and grabbed his hand. "Yes, Yeosang. I'll protect you from all of the bad guys."
