The dough was rolled out and currently, Seonghwa had devoted every bit of his attention to it, collecting the cookie cutters and placing them beside the flattened dough. After making a few more arrangements and pondering for a while about which one to begin with, he chose a Christmas tree shaped cutter and pressed it upon the dough. Looking at the perfect shape made him quite happy, as he gently picked it up from the rest of the material and gave it to the boy standing beside him, who carefully placed it upon the baking sheet spread out on a plate.

"Look Joongie, it looks so pretty," Seonghwa giggled in glee, as he was now holding a reindeer upon his palm, cut out from the dough. He held it with extreme care, as if it were made from glass.

"Of course, it's so pretty," Hongjoong hummed in response, as he transferred it from his boyfriend's palm to the plate.

One by one, Seonghwa cut shapes using the cutters and Hongjoong arranged them, until there was space left for just one.

"Let's cut a star," suggested Hongjoong. Seonghwa picked up the star shaped cookie cutter and pressed it upon the dough, instantly bringing forth a flour star.

"Pretty," Seonghwa said with a smile, as he handed it to Hongjoong.

"Not as much as you," replied Hongjoong with a slight smirk, making the former blush and hit him on his arm.

Soon, the plate was placed inside the microwave and after adjusting the required temperature and timing, Hongjoong walked back to the table.

"Babe, look at me for a minute please," he heard Seonghwa's voice, as he turned to face him. Soon, he saw the other bring his right index finger upon the tip of his nose and linger there for a moment. At first, Hongjoong was confused.

But then, he realised.

He noticed Seonghwa dipping his finger into the small bowl of the remnant flour and bringing it back to his cheek, making Hongjoong laugh. Seonghwa giggled along with him, drawing long whiskers upon his cheeks and finally pausing for a moment to examine his art. He laughed out loud.

"You look so adorable Joongie," he cooed, "Just like a little kitten."

"Meaow," Hongjoong purred, making Seonghwa go 'aww' at him, pulling him into a tight embrace, merry giggles and loud laughters filling the space.

Soon their cookies were ready and Hongjoong went back to fetch them. Seonghwa sighed and smiled, his gaze captured by the star shaped cookie cutter that lay close to the flour bowl.

"Best Christmas ever," he spoke low, his smile growing bigger, "As long as you are here."
