"It's been three hours, Wooyoung. Where were you?" San questioned as soon as the younger entered their shared bedroom.

Wooyoung had gone out three hours ago, and worried the hell out of his boyfriend whenever he didn't answer San's texts. At first, San thought maybe Wooyoung was busy, and then his mind began to make up reasons why Wooyoung was busy and not returning his texts and very few phone calls.

San had a lot of trust in Wooyoung, but his anxiety liked to get the best of him at times... similar the situation he was in right now with his boyfriend of two years. It's unclear why, but San's mind had a way of manipulating him without him even knowing it.

Wooyoung — who had a dull look in his usually bright eyes — gave his boyfriend a tired look. "Not now, Sannie," he spoke with sadness in his voice, "I don't have the energy to fight with you. I was out today and I was busy, okay? But I'm home now."

"You didn't answer any of my texts, Woo. Why?" San asked softly. "Were you with someone else? Is that why you didn't answer? Are you... are you cheating on me?"

It pained San to even ask such a question, but at this point, he had to know the truth. He had to know what caused Wooyoung to not communicate with him all afternoon.

Wooyoung felt a pang in his heart and tears in his eyes. "Sannie, I would never cheat on you. How could you accuse me of something like that?!" He was beyond upset now; today was a shit day for Wooyoung already, and now he's come home to the love of his life accusing him of committing adultery.

San had tears in his eyes, too, letting them fall down his cheeks. "Because I don't know why you didn't talk to me for three fucking hours, Wooyoung! I just want to know if I've done something wrong!"

Wooyoung sent the older boy a sharp glare. He didn't want to fight with San, but Wooyoung can't always get what he wants. "I'm not cheating on you, San! You should know that I would never even think of hurting you like that. I said I didn't want to fight with you, but we are fighting for the dumbest reason."

"It's not dumb, Wooyoung! Just tell me what I did — "

"THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU, CHOI SAN! NONE OF IT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU!" Wooyoung screamed at the top of his lungs, effectively interrupting San. San's stunned silence gave Wooyoung the signal to continue.

"Today... was the fifth anniversary of my grandfather's death. So I went into town and bought some sweetpeas. He loved sweetpeas; said they were his favorite flower." Wooyoung bit on his lip, eyes misty and heart breaking. "Afterwards, I went to visit his grave. I just stood there for hours, talking to him. I left my phone on silent so I didn't bother anyone else, and so I didn't disrespect my Papa. That's why I didn't answer my phone; are you fucking satisfied now?" He asked bitterly at the end.

San's face softened and he realized now that he was making a big deal out of nothing. He bit down on his lip, taking tentative steps towards his crying boyfriend. It broke his heart to know that he made Wooyoung cry. Now he felt guilty, stupid, and ashamed. "Wooyoungie... I'm so sorry. This whole fight was my fault because I let paranoia cloud my senses and my judgment. I'm so incredibly and deeply sorry for your loss — I know how important your family is to you. I was being an insecure, paranoid jerk who made one of the worst days of your life even worse."

Wooyoung just stared at San, giving the older boy permission to continue. "I shouted at you, I hurt you, and I doubted you. I pushed you to your breaking point, and that is something I will never forgive myself for. I'm not asking for your forgiveness — I know I don't deserve it — but I'm begging you to let me show you that I am sorry. Please... let me earn your trust back. But if you don't want to, I understand wholeheartedly. I know you may not believe me, but I love you so damn much, Jung Wooyoung, and I'm so so so so sorry for the pain and hurt I caused you."

Wooyoung felt his heart shatter when San hung his head down in shame. The younger boy wrapped his arms around his lover's frame, burying his face in the crook of San's neck. The dancer could feel his boyfriend tense up at the contact, but San relaxed once he felt Wooyoung hug him close. "Sannie... you really hurt me," Wooyoung started. San went to say something, but Wooyoung cut him off with a kiss. "But you understand what you did wrong, and you apologized for your actions and your words. You don't have to earn my trust back — once you started apologizing, I saw the humble and loving San I fell in love with. I forgive you, darling, as long as you'll forgive me for shutting you out and making you feel so paranoid and insecure. Can you ever forgive me, San?"

San broke apart from the hug to cup his boyfriend's face in his hands. He began pressing kisses to Wooyoung's forehead, cheeks, nose, lips, and even his jaw. When Wooyoung broke out into a big smile, San chuckled and pressed another kiss to his boyfriend's lips. "Baby, there's nothing to forgive. It's all in the past now — done and over with. How about we change into some comfier clothes and spend the rest of the night cuddling, hmm?"

Wooyoung nodded and didn't hesitate to change into one of San's sweatshirts and a pair of sweatpants. He eagerly climbed into their shared bed, waiting for San, who was currently changing into a night shirt and a pair of shorts.

San let out a chuckle when he saw how excited Wooyoung was to cuddle, and immediately laid next to the younger boy. He loved the way Wooyoung fit perfectly in his arms — like he was meant to be in them — and San adored how it felt when they held hands with each other. He loved everything about his precious Wooyoung, and he would make sure he never hurt his precious love again.

Wooyoung smiled when his nostrils were filled with the faint smell of San's cologne, immediately relaxing once he laid his head right where San's heart was. He became sleepy once San began to rub his back and gently hummed a familiar soothing tune. "Goodnight, Sannie. I love you," Wooyoung yawned before he shut his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

San smiled and pressed a loving kiss to Wooyoung's head. "Goodnight, Wooyoungie. I hope you have sweet dreams. I love you too, my sweetpea."
