tired but love you
Yunho didn't mind Yeosang being quiet most of the time when they became friends, then lovers. The younger was always gentle and caring, which Yunho loved about him, but sometimes the need for physical touch made him kind of neglected.
"Baby," Yunho pouted, face pressed on the pillow as Yeosang cuddled to his chest half under him. Whispering "I love you"is continually.
"I love you, I love you," Yeosang kept murmuring in his sleep, lips pouty and soft against Yunho's skin. The sound of Yeosang's sleepy declarations made Yunho's heart flutter, but he couldn't help feeling a twinge of longing. As much as he cherished these quiet intimacy, more connection, more of Yeosang's warmth pressed against him when they were both awake.
"Yeosang," Yunho called gently, fingers tracing patterns on the younger man's arm. "You know I love you too, right?"
“Mmm,” came Yeosang's drowsy reply, his body instinctively shifting closer, as if trying to draw Yunho deeper into a dream-filled haze.
Yunho chuckled softly. “But can you wake up for just a second?” He needed to see those eyes, the soft, warm gaze that always melted away any doubt he had about their love.
It took a moment, but Yeosang finally blinked awake, his eyelids fluttering like delicate butterfly wings. He looked up at Yunho, a blend of sleepiness and affection in his gaze. “What is it, love?” His voice was thick with sleep, yet there was a spark of brightness that made Yunho's heart race.
“I just… I need you awake a little more,” Yunho admitted, trying to hide the vulnerability in his voice. “I miss you when you’re all sleepy and quiet.”
Yeosang's expression softened, and he lifted a hand to cup Yunho's cheek. “I’m here, Yunho. Always,” he promised, the sincerity in his tone making Yunho's heart leap. “I just tend to be more… contemplative.”
“That’s okay, but I want to share those moments with you too.” Yunho shifted slightly, lifting himself onto one elbow so he could look down into Yeosang's eyes. “Sometimes I feel like I’m missing out on all the love you have for me when you’re lost in your own world.”
Yeosang's brow furrowed slightly as he processed Yunho's words. “You could never miss out on my love,” he murmured, his voice earnest. “I promise you, it’s always there. But… I can make more of an effort to show it.”
Yunho smiled, a warmth spreading through him at Yeosang’s response. “I’d love that.” He leaned down and pressed a soft kiss against Yeosang’s forehead, feeling the warmth radiate between them. “Just a little more cuddling, a little more—” he hesitated for a moment, unsure if he should voice his desires, but ultimately decided to be brave, “—a little more of everything.”
Yeosang chuckled softly, a melodic sound that resonated perfectly in the quiet room. “Okay, then let’s start with this.” He wrapped his arms around Yunho's waist, pulling him firmly against him, their bodies fitting together perfectly.
“See? Now that’s more like it,” Yunho teased, nuzzling into the crook of Yeosang's neck, feeling utterly safe and cherished.
“I can do this all day,” Yeosang replied, his voice a low murmur, both teasing and sincere.
“Good, because I could definitely get used to this,” Yunho said, drawing back just enough to look into Yeosang’s deep-set eyes. “But also, can we talk more? About everything? I want to feel every piece of you,” he confessed softly.
“Of course, Yunho. Let’s share it all,” Yeosang replied, the softness in his voice promising warmth and understanding. He leaned forward, brushing his lips against Yunho’s in a tender kiss, igniting a spark that made Yunho's heart race.
As they melted into each other, Yunho felt his insecurities fade away in the warmth of Yeosang's affection. This was more than enough; together, they could explore the depths of their love, one gentle moment at a time.
"Yuyu, I can't... I need to sleep,"
Yunho pulled back slightly, his brow furrowing at Yeosang's sleepy protest. “Oh, Yuyu?” he said, mockingly sweet, but there was a hint of genuine concern behind his playful tone. “You’re really going to sleep on me now?”
Yeosang let out a soft yawn, his eyes drooping again as he nestled deeper into the pillow. “I really can’t keep my eyes open,” he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Just five more minutes,” Yunho pleaded, leaning closer to plant a gentle kiss on Yeosang's temple. “I promise I’ll let you sleep after that. I just need to remind you how much I love you a bit more.”
Yeosang mumbled something incoherent, pulling the blanket up and turning onto his side, presenting Yunho with a view of his soft curls. Yunho couldn't help but chuckle, his heart warming at the sight.
“Are you really abandoning me like this?” he teased, reaching out to lightly stroke Yeosang’s back, feeling the warmth radiate beneath the fabric of his shirt. “You’re the cutest when you’re half-asleep.”
With a sleepy-sounding laugh, Yeosang clung to the edge of the blanket, a hint of a smile playing at the corners of his lips. “I’m really just tired… but your voice is soothing,” he admitted, his eyes still fluttering shut.
Yunho’s heart skipped a beat at those words. “Then let it soothe you to sleep. But when you wake up, I’ll need all your attention, okay? I want to hear your beautiful voice telling me about your day or your dreams.”
A soft sigh escaped Yeosang as he nestled deeper into the pillow, his body relaxing more with each gentle reminder of Yunho's presence. “Okay, I promise,” he said, the words muffled by the pillow but clear enough for Yunho to hear the sincerity behind them.
“Good,” Yunho replied, feeling a wave of relief wash over him. “And remember… I love you, Yuyu. Always.”
With that, he leaned down and pressed a tender kiss to the top of Yeosang’s head, letting the ambiance of quiet space envelop them. As he listened to the rhythm of Yeosang’s breathing turn deep and steady, he couldn’t help but smile, knowing that even in these moments of silence and tranquility, their connection grew stronger.
“Sweet dreams, my love,” Yunho whispered softly, settling down beside Yeosang, ready to drift off himself, comforted by the knowledge that when morning came, there would be plenty of time for love and laughter.
