movie night

Wooyoung woke up to Yeosang's soft breathing on his cheek, legs tangled in the youngers and skin flush against Wooyoung's.

"You smell so good, I'm glad we had... you know, "slept" together," Yeosang whispered, snuggling closer to Wooyoung.

"We did sleep together, without clothes and... Yeah, it felt nice,"

"Yeah, i agree. Kinda... it was cute seeing you flustered like that, but are you ok? Im pretty sure if accidentally forgot how sad you were yesterday, it didn’t escape my mind. I felt bad for you, Wooyoung." Yeosang's voice was soft, tinged with concern.

Wooyoung turned slightly to look at Yeosang, his heart warming at the sight of the younger man, so vulnerable and sweet in the morning light. "I appreciate that, really. I thought I was okay, but it hit me a bit harder than I expected."

Yeosang frowned, gently brushing his fingers against Wooyoung's arm in a comforting gesture. "You don’t have to put on a brave face with me. I just want you to be okay."

A soft chuckle escaped Wooyoung's lips as he shook his head. "You know I always try to act tough. But you... you have this way of getting to me."

Yeosang smiled, his eyes sparkling. "That's what I aim for. Besides, it’s all part of my incredible charm."

Wooyoung rolled his eyes playfully. "Yeah, sure. But really, I didn’t mean to drag you into my mood yesterday. I was just feeling overwhelmed."

"Why not let me in next time?" Yeosang suggested softly. "We’re in this together, right? One of the perks of—well, sleeping together." He raised an eyebrow teasingly.

"Right, one of the perks," Wooyoung said with a smirk. "Maybe we should have more of those ‘sleepless’ nights."

Yeosang’s cheeks flushed slightly as he grinned. "Well, I wouldn't mind at all if it means seeing you like this—smiling and relaxed."

Wooyoung shifted closer, wrapping his arms around Yeosang's waist. "Thanks for being here, Yeosang. It means a lot. Just having you next to me makes the world a little less heavy."

"Anytime, Wooyoung. Just know that I’m always here for you. And if it takes another ‘sleepless’ night to get you through, then count me in."

Wooyoung chuckled, feeling lighthearted for the first time since yesterday. "Alright, deal. But you have to promise not to tease me too much."

Yeosang's laughter filled the room. "No promises."

"Wait, I need to call my mom," Wooyoung excused, taking his phone from the nightstand and dialed the number. "Mom, I'm staying at Yeosang. We're gonna watch a movie, also i got one of the popcorn packs in the fridge." Wooyoung's voice was cheerful as he spoke into his phone, glancing at Yeosang, who was already rummaging through the snacks.

"Okay, but make sure you two are being responsible. You know I don’t like it when you stay out too late," his mom replied, her tone firm but softening as she continued, "And don’t forget about your homework!”

"Yes, Mom, I promise! Homework is done. We’re just having a little movie night.” Wooyoung rolled his eyes playfully, knowing she would always worry.

"Alright then. Have fun! And if you need anything, just text me."

“Will do, love you!” Wooyoung said, hanging up and looking at Yeosang, who had found the popcorn and was grinning widely.

"Popcorn’s ready! What are we watching first?" Yeosang asked, popping a few kernels into his mouth.

Wooyoung raised an eyebrow, contemplating their options. "I was thinking we could start with that new horror movie that everyone's been talking about. You said you wanted to watch it, right?"

"Ugh, do we have to?" Yeosang groaned dramatically. "You know how much I hate jump scares!"

"But that’s the fun of it!” Wooyoung teased, a smile plastered on his face. “Plus, it gives me an excuse to hold your hand when I get scared.”

Yeosang's cheeks flushed pink. "Fine, you win! But only if you promise to protect me from the scary parts."

"Deal!" Wooyoung laughed, grabbing the remote. "Get ready to scream."

As they settled onto the couch, popcorn in hand and blankets draped over them, Wooyoung felt a warmth spread through him. He loved moments like this—simple, cozy, and filled with unspoken connection. As the movie started, he glanced sideways at Yeosang, who was already nervously chewing on his popcorn, and Wooyoung couldn’t help but smile.

“Hey, remember,” he said, leaning closer, “even if it gets scary, I’m right here.”

Yeosang looked over, his expression softening. “And I’m right here, too. Just… don’t let go of my hand, okay?”

“Never,” Wooyoung promised, intertwining his fingers with Yeosang’s as the movie began, screen flickering with the eerie glow.
