long night
Yeosang light another cigarette for the fifth time that night, the movie on low volume, and his attention focused on Wooyoung's face instead of the screen. He took a drag and exhaled slowly, the smoke curling up towards the ceiling and disappearing into the darkness of the room. Wooyoung didn't seem to notice, his eyes fixed on the action unfolding on the TV.
Yeosang couldn't help but admire the way the dim light from the screen illuminated Wooyoung's features, casting shadows across his sharp jawline and highlighting the charming curve of his lips. He took another drag of his cigarette, watching as Wooyoung leaned back against the couch, his eyes wide with excitement.
As the movie reached its climax, Yeosang found himself unable to tear his eyes away from Wooyoung. There was something about the way he bit his lip in concentration, the way he furrowed his brow in mock fear that made Yeosang's heart race.
But as the credits rolled and the room fell silent, Yeosang realized that the movie had long since ended, and they were both still sitting there, lost in each other's gaze. Wooyoung finally turned to him, a playful glint in his eyes.
"Another cigarette, Yeosang-ah?" Wooyoung asked with a smile, reaching for the pack that lay on the coffee table.
Yeosang nodded, a smile of his own tugging at the corners of his lips. "Why not? It's a long night ahead of us, after all." And as Wooyoung handed him a cigarette, their fingers brushed briefly, sending a jolt of electricity through Yeosang's veins.
As the smoke filled the room once more, Yeosang realized that maybe, just maybe, this night was one he wouldn't forget anytime soon. And as he leaned back against the couch, taking in the sight of Wooyoung's smile, he knew that he wouldn't want to.
