Seonghwa glanced over at Yeosang, concern etched deeply into his features. "Yeosang, you don't look well," he said worriedly, his voice laced with genuine concern. "You're pale, and you seem like you're about to faint. Are you feeling alright?"
Yeosang weakly nodded, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'll be fine, Seonghwa," he replied with a faint smile, though his eyes betrayed his exhaustion. "Just feeling a little... drained."
Seonghwa's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, but before he could inquire further, Yeosang's words caught him off guard. "Take your big baby or I'm gonna faint," Yeosang pleaded quietly, his voice filled with desperation. He gently handed over the four-year-old Jongho, who had been clinging onto him tightly.
Seonghwa immediately wrapped his arms around Jongho, his eyes widening as he noticed the subtle signs of his son's vampiric nature. "Did he... drink your blood?" Seonghwa asked, his tone a mix of concern and fascination.
Yeosang nodded weakly once more, a small wince escaping him as he rubbed his neck tenderly. "Yes," he admitted, his voice strained. "It's the only thing that seems to soothe him when he's feeling weak."
Seonghwa's heart ached for both Yeosang and Jongho. He knew the toll that blood-sucking took on Yeosang, but he also understood that it was an instinctual need for their young vampire son. "We should find a way to help Jongho without draining you, Yeosang," Seonghwa suggested softly, his voice filled with determination.
Yeosang mustered a tired smile. "I've been looking into alternatives," he said, his voice filled with gratitude for Seonghwa's understanding. "But for now, he relies on me. We'll figure something out soon, I promise."
Seonghwa smiled warmly at his partner, his love for both Yeosang and Jongho shining in his eyes. "You take some rest, Yeosang," he insisted gently, balancing Jongho on his hip. "I'll take care of Jongho for now. We'll find a solution together, as a family."
Yeosang's eyes filled with tears of gratitude, but he managed to nod appreciatively before finally allowing himself to give in to the exhaustion that had consumed him. As Seonghwa watched Yeosang drift off into a much-needed sleep, he planted a tender kiss on Jongho's forehead.
"Don't you worry, Jongho," Seonghwa whispered softly. "We'll find a way to help you, without hurting Mommy. We'll protect and love you, always."
And with that, Seonghwa carried his young vampire son away, determined to shield him from the darkness of their world while they searched for a solution that would ensure both Jongho's well-being and Yeosang's health. Together, they were a family bound by a love that surpassed any hardship they faced.
