eat or not

TW: ED

Yeosang poked the ramen for the nth time that night, Wooyoung already done with eating and talking about his day.

"Yeosang, eat," Wooyoung urged when he noticed Yeosang's hesitance. So Yeosang nodded and ate the ramen quickly, cheeks full with noodles.

"I'm done," he informed and got up to go to the bathroom. "Cuddle tonight?"

"Ofcourse, you do your thing and I'll come to bed," Wooyoung agreed with a smile. Taking the bowl to clean them while Yeosang quickly reached the bathroom and licked the door, on his knees in front of the toilet. He stuck two fingers down his throat, triggering his gag reflex and causing him to purge the ramen he had just eaten. Tears welled up in his eyes as he struggled with the urge to rid himself of the food.

After a few minutes, he flushed the toilet and washed his face, trying to compose himself. He hated that he still had these urges, even though he knew it was harmful to his body. But it was a coping mechanism he had developed over the years, a way to feel a sense of control when everything else seemed chaotic.

Wooyoung was waiting for him in bed, his arms open wide for Yeosang to crawl into. Yeosang snuggled close, seeking comfort and warmth in his boyfriend's embrace. Wooyoung sensed something was off but didn't push, simply holding Yeosang close and kissing his forehead gently.

"I love you, Yeosang," Wooyoung whispered, and Yeosang felt a surge of emotion wash over him. Despite his struggles, he knew he was loved and supported by the person who meant the most to him.

"I love you too, Wooyoung," Yeosang replied, burying his face in Wooyoung's chest. And in that moment, he felt a sense of peace and contentment, knowing that he had someone who would always be there for him, no matter what.

Yeosang visited the bathroom next day too, after breakfast right away while Wooyoung got ready to go to the town center. He stuck two fingers up his throat again and got out the boiled eggs and toast.

Yeosang's hands trembled as he purged the breakfast he had just eaten, the familiar taste of bile rising in his throat. He felt a mix of emotions - shame, guilt, and relief all at once. The cycle of bingeing and purging had become a routine for him, a way to cope with the stress and anxiety that seemed to never leave his side.

As he finished purging, he flushed the toilet and washed his face, trying to banish the negative thoughts that plagued his mind. He knew it was harmful to his body, but the compulsion was strong, a constant battle that he fought every day.

Wooyoung walked into the bathroom, concern evident in his eyes as he saw Yeosang's pale face. "Yeosang, what's wrong?" he asked, reaching out a hand to help him up.

Yeosang shook his head, unable to meet Wooyoung's gaze. "I'm okay, just not feeling well," he muttered, a lump forming in his throat.

Wooyoung wrapped his arms around Yeosang, holding him close. "You don't have to go through this alone, Yeosang. I'm here for you, always," he whispered, his voice filled with love and understanding.

Tears welled up in Yeosang's eyes as he realized the depth of Wooyoung's care for him. He knew he needed to seek help, to break free from the destructive cycle he was trapped in. And with Wooyoung by his side, he felt a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, he could overcome his struggles and find peace within himself.

The cycle didn't stop there. For the next few weeks Yeosang had a trip to the bathroom after every meal which was just lunch or dinner, he forgot about breakfast all over.

And today was no different, with Wooyoung taking the dishes while Yeosang took a short trip to the bathroom. He sank on his knees ans ready to get rid of the metalic taste of food when a knock suddenly sounded on the door. Startled, Yeosang froze, fear gripping his heart as he tried to compose himself.

"Yeosang, are you okay in there?" Wooyoung's concerned voice called out from the other side of the door.

Yeosang's mind raced, unsure of how to respond. He couldn't let Wooyoung see him like this, couldn't bear the thought of disappointing him even more. But he also couldn't bring himself to stop the destructive cycle that had consumed him.

"I... I'm fine, just feeling a bit sick," Yeosang stammered, his voice shaky.

There was a moment of silence before Wooyoung spoke again, his voice filled with worry. "Yeosang, please let me in. I want to help you, to be there for you."

Tears welled up in Yeosang's eyes as he realized he couldn't hide his struggles any longer. With a heavy heart, he unlocked the door and let Wooyoung in. The look of concern and love in Wooyoung's eyes broke Yeosang's resolve, his façade crumbling as he finally opened up about his struggles.

"I... I can't stop, Wooyoung. It's like a compulsion, a need," Yeosang confessed, tears streaming down his face.

Wooyoung wrapped his arms around Yeosang, holding him close. "You don't have to go through this alone, Yeosang. We'll get through this together, I promise," he whispered, his voice filled with determination.

And in that moment, Yeosang felt a glimmer of hope. With Wooyoung by his side, he knew he had the strength and support to overcome his struggles, to break free from the destructive cycle that had consumed him for far too long.
