Chapter 3

Atala leaped into the sky flying faster than she ever had before, she had to make it back before the castle shone like little diamonds, she saw the light hitting the stones covering the castle, it might have been too late. She leaped in through the window, and landed on her clump of silk pillows and a few stuffed creatures her little sister made her. Her mother smacked her tail against the door.

"OPEN THIS DOOR ATALA. I DON'T WANT TO TEAR THIS DOOR APART."

Atala opened the door, hesitantly.

"Hi-i?" She stuttered.

"WHY IS MY DAUGHTER HANGING OUT WITH A LOWLY SERVANT?"

"She is my friend." Atala stated, shaking nervously.

"Well she's isn't going to be anymore." Queen Constella said she yelled for her guards, they came with chains tied around Titania.

"Let her go." Atala said, her voice filled with rage.

Queen Constella looked past Atala, looked at her guard and told him to throw Titania in the darkest dungeon, feed her half a grape a day and one 24th of a dreamcookie a week.

Atala looked at her mother in fright, only half a grape was insane.

Atala grabbed a guard's ear, he shrieked in pain.

"OW!" He cried, "What do you want?"

"Give Titania a blanket, silk pillow and a lantern, make sure the blanket and pillow are black like the ground, enchant the lantern to go out whenever someone checks on her, and turns on when they leave, give her a box of grapes and strawberries a day, give her half a dreamcookie every 2 days." She told him.

"But Queen Constella, her rules." He stuttered, nervously.

"Do as I say, or I will enchant you on fire using my special gem."

He quaked, everyone on Dream Island had one of these gems, some stronger or weaker than others, they appeared embedded on the top of their eggs before they hatched.

He did as he was told.

Atala prayed that Titania was alright, that doofus of a guard had better listened to her.
