Chapter 2

Atala tapped her tail against the smooth glassy rock floor in the cave she and Titania had found. They really had only met because of Atala's favorite treat; dreamcookies. During one of her mother's monthly parties, sometimes even weekly to celebrate her mother's win of the throne against her mother. About one hour before the party Atala snuck into the kitchen and tried to steal a dreamcookie, but of course Titania's mother had put Titania stationed by pots, pans,and trays of desserts and meals. Atala swatted Titania.

"MOVE!" Atala yelled at Titania.

"No, my mother told me to not let you have any treats."

"As the princess, I DEMAND YOU GIVE ME A COOKIE."

"No, my mom said you get none, last time you ate them ALL, Princess."

"I did not." Atala claimed.

"Sureeee, princess."

Titania grabbed a spatula and swatted Atala with it.

"Get out." She picked the spatula up and kept swatting her until she went out of the kitchen, Atala stuck her tail in through a crack and stabbed Titania with her tail barb, they had been best friends ever since.

Titania was taking forever, she smacked her tail against the glassy rock floor, Titania entered slowly.

"Sorry, my mom was making me taste the new dreamcookies they are bad like really bad."

"I'm sure they taste amazing."

"She put in those bitter berries she found."

"I honestly don't care, I wanna taste one."

Titania tossed one at Atala's head, Atala caught it, threw it into her mouth, within seconds it flew out of her mouth and across the cave.

"That is awful."

"I know right? I told her those berries wouldn't do anything for the cookies, but oh no let's ruin the awesome cookies."

They laughed until the sun started peeking out from behind the stormy gray mountains, signalling it was time for them to get back to where they belonged.
