Now that my Dad is finally out of the hospital, he has been talking to the Chief and Rune to what are they going to do about my safety. But now that since Chief just got back from Brazil and now he has a answer for what is going to do with Lyndon and the Black Phoenix.

"What happened to their lair is a huge problem to the Black Phoenix because they lost so many men. But there are two other of their hideout that is still on watched but Lyndon is not there." Chief explained, while we are in their meeting room at the Royals.

Dad and I are a part of the meeting as well so are the others who are assigned in this mission. Rune is standing next to my seat while Dad is sitting on the chair next to mine. I'm not quite sure on what is going to happen later on but I'm badly want to hear what they are going to say in this gathering.

The Chief has shown and reported all of the actions that they did to take down some of the Black Phoenix people in different locations. The only problem is Lyndon. He is hiding really good.

"Some of my men will also help in the search of Lyndon." Dad told them. "I want this done as soon as possible."

"But I have a good news to you, especially to Ms. Waylord," Chief turns his eyes to me. "She is now safe to be seen in public. It was tested that our men is stronger now than the enemies. But we will make sure that no one will harm your daughter, Mayor."

Dad nodded with a serious face. "Make sure of it, Chief. I don't want anything bad to happen to Jasmine."

"Yes, she will still be guarded." Chief stated.

I nodded in agreement. "Can I go back to my job?"

"I'm afraid not, Ms. Waylord. You can go home now but you can't go back to being a celebrity. That's too risky." He answered, "Agent Red will still be your private bodyguard for now."

Rune and I made eye contact and he gave me an assuring smile. Like he is telling me that he had everything under control. That safeness in his eyes once again.

Suddenly Jay raised his hand to call some attention. "Chief."

"Yes, Agent Silver? You have something to say?" Chief asked, turning to Jay who was sitting at the front seat at the other corner. Jane is sitting next him though.

"Chief, can I just suggest something?" He asked for permission.

"Fire away." Chief told him, leaning on the wall. He was actually standing in front on the mini stage, there is also a huge monitor touch screen beside him where the informations, pictures are presented on a slide.

Jay stood up from his chair. "The next mission is to hunt down Lyndon in Russia next week...and in this team, it will only be consists of me as the head of the team, then some of the men working under me and some on Agent Red's team. I think it would be better if he will also come with us. This mission will surely be a success if he's with us."

The others nodded their head after what Jay suggested. "He's right." Someone shouted from the back row.

I turned to the Chief and noticed that he is thinking. Wait, does that mean that Rune is not going to be my bodyguard anymore? He will be on the operation so he won't be with me and do this dangerous mission

"What do you say, Agent Red?" Chief asked him.

Rune scoffed and shook his head. "I can't leave my lady. I'm sorry but I have to trust Agent Silver on this one."

He didn't agree.

Rune always puts me first.

"It's a different case now, Agent Red. You are the one who should be on this mission. You are the one who can only do this." Jay insisted, seriousness in his tone. "This is the only way to finish this mission, Red. If you come with us."

"I believe it so too." One of the man behind him. "Agent Red is the most excellent agent we have here and we all know that he never failed in a mission. This will be done faster than we expected if he lead this."

No, I don't want him to leave my side. He's the only one that I can trust.

"My decision is final. I won't leave Ms. Jasmine Waylord. I hope you understand that, Chief." Rune said, his tone was giving respect to him as he bows his head slightly.

"I respect your decision, boy. But...I will give you three days to give me your final answer. I do want you to be involve in this operation so think about it." Chief crossed his arms and signalled one man to turn of the slide as he already dismissed the meeting.

I'm so excited to go back home. I missed my room and my friends. I will call Ariana as soon as I arrive back to the mansion.

Dad and I got inside our car that will drive us back home. Rune was sitting on the front seat and he's having conversation with Dad about some mission things. I just listened as they talk because I can't relate to whatever topic they are talking about. But the smile in my face won't even vanished, there is this warm feeling that is caressing my heart at the thought that Rune chooses me over the mission.

When we arrived at the mansion, I nearly smash the car door open as I ran inside like a little girl. "Home sweet home!" I cheered as I got inside.

Oh, I missed that sweet lavender scent. "Welcome home, Ms. Waylord." The maids greeted me as they saw me enter and I greeted them back.

Dad slowly walks in and his wound is still aching but he says it's already bearable and a painkiller can erase it.

"Don't expect me to help your ass, old man." I heard Rune laugh with my Dad.

"And expect me to kill you once I got back to my usual, state." Dad retorted back as they head inside the house. He was walking slowly and carefully. His private nurse following behind while helping him to walk. "Get my things inside my office, I'm going to the hall."

"What? Dad, you heard what the doctor said. You still need to rest. Working and stressing yourself should not be allowed." I reminded him, while crossing my arms.

"I have unfinished paper works there, Jasmine. Just give me a few hours and I will come back." He said.

"Dad!" I whined, placing a hand on my waist and giving him the glare.

"I won't take long, princess." He told me as one bodyguard brought down his briefcase.

My God, this old man is so stubborn. Dad immediately left the mansion without saying anything else, still not listening.

I walked up to my room and literally threw myself on my bed. I missed this life. It's not that I don't like my life in St. Dominique but this is where I am used to. But I were given the chance, I can live in that mountain for another year. I am getting used to the people and I made a couple of friends too.

But now that I just remembered that place, they are probably wondering what happened to me and Rune. We just left so sudden without saying goodbye. I haven't even said goodbye to Sarah and Frank and so is Yohan. I bet Rune will miss him.

Jeez, I don't even know if Rune treats him as a friend because all he said about Yohan are lies. Starting from his real name, where he lives, where we come from, everything. I feel bad for him though.

Then there was a knock on my door. "Yes?"

"It's me." It was Rune. He slowly opened the door and he slowly steps in.

"Hey." I smiled and sat up. Shit, Rune is inside my room. He made his way to sit on the chair just a meter away from my bed and looked at me. "What?" I asked.

Rune shrugged his shoulders. "I was just wondering, you want to go somewhere? Want to go shopping or anything?"

My eyebrow raised at him. "Seriously, Rune? Are you really asking me this?"

"What's wrong with my question?" He looks puzzled.

"Mostly, a guy wouldn't ask a girl if he wanted to go to the shopping because guys would surely be forced to come with them." I stated with a giggle.

"I'm just asking, my lady. I know girls love shopping and I'm sure you wanted to go out." He answered. Rune knows me well now, huh?

"What if I told you that I wanted to go shopping? You will come with me?" I challenged him.

"I guess I have no choice then." He averted his gaze.

I slapped his arm because of his reaction.

"I was just kidding! You are so brutal." Rune whined like a kid while rubbing the spot where I hit him. "I just figured out that you might get bored here. And I'm sure you missed this city so let's go out."

My eyebrows touched and thought. "Sure."

"Great, it's a date then." He smirked.

"Rune Crawford, you're way of asking a woman out on a date is horrible." I scoffed, standing up from my bed. "But since this is the first you asked me, I appreciate it."

"This is the first time I ever asked a woman on a date." He rolled his eyes. "How about tonight? Are you free tonight?"

"Of course, I don't have anything to do." I replied.

"Let's go clubbing." He smirked.

"Clubbing?" I repeated, excitedly. "Baby, I was born to party!"

Rune chuckled at my reaction. "It is set then." He stood up from his chair then in surprise, he leaned down to give me quick kiss on my lips. "I've been wanting to do that."

"Only that?" Those words automatically just came out from my mouth. My arms went around his neck and pulled him closer to me, I want to feel his warmth.

Rune gives me a sexy smirk and admires my face, with gentleness in his eyes. "My lady, our situation right is much harder now. When we are in St. Dominique, we are allowed to do whatever we want but here..." he dipped his nose on my neck and I can feel him inhaling my scent and kissing some spot there. "We need to be very careful."

I know, Rune. I know. Shit, especially knowing that I am engaged. How can I tell him that? I'm sure he would walk away and leave me. And i also know that he will not leave his job just for me. He will never quit being an Agent. That is for sure. And what we have doesn't have any assurance. We are just living with the moment, going with the flow of the wind.

I quickly pulled Rune for a kiss. I just want to spend my days with him amazingly as long as we are together.

My eyes closed tightly as I try not to cry. He deepened the kiss and I felt like this is the most romantic kiss that we shared so far. It is full of passion and longing. I wanted to be with him longer.

His arms went tighter around my waist as our kiss got even more intense. I can feel how he gripped my clothes and how I tighten my hold on his nape. A soft groan escaped his throat as it goes on.

"Wait, we need to stop." Rune pulled away from me but I didn't let him. I kissed him again.

I am taking no for an answer. I want him.

And I love him.

I admit it, I love Rune.

"My lady, if we continue this—"

"Why? You don't want me?" I asked, panting and gazing at him, flirtly.

Rune seems to be surprised at my question because he started cursing. "Damn, my lady. You are making this hard for the both of us."

"Hard? What's hard in this one?" I asked innocently, leaning closer to him and leaned my chin on his.

Rune kissed the tip of my nose. "You are playing with fire, my lady. Aren't you afraid?"

I shook my head. "Nope."

"Are you sure?" He arched a brow then grinned as he rained my face with kisses before unwrapping his arms around me. "I hate to leave but the others will start suspecting where I am. I can't be seen inside your room, my lady."

I let out a disappointed sigh. I understand but I just wanted to spend more time with him. "Okay,"

"I will see you tonight." He dipped for one quick kiss before he started walking to the door to leave. But I just can't help but smile at his sweet moves. If It would just be easier for me and him then everything will be so great. But it's against their rules. They are not allowed to have relationship especially to a client.

But I do not want to remember that for now. I just want to be with him tonight.

Later that night, I was dressed in a nice black body hugging dress and had my makeup done. Rune and I are going to sneak out since this is where we are good at. I just texted Dad that I will be going out with a friend and Rune will be coming with me so he wouldn't be worried. Rune is really an expert in this one because no one suspected us leaving.

Rune and I used the motorbike for an escape since it is much easier and faster. But I didn't know which club we are heading to.

But a few minutes later, we stopped in front of Midnight Phantom Club. Oh, the best club in town. Rune and I entered like we are some VIP. We didn't lined up. The huge bouncer dudes let us in even without any passing cards, We literally just matched in with Rune never letting my hand go. His gripping my hand, possessively.

We got inside the club and we head towards the fourth floor where the VIP section is. We found a vacant spot that gives us the privacy that we needed. I sat down and Rune sat next to mine, I crossed my legs and leaned most of my weight on him as he wrap one arm behind my shoulder, pulling me closer. Don't we just look like a normal couple.

"Would you like something to drink?" Rune asked me.

"Margarita." I answered, smiling at him.

Rune raised his hand to get the waitress' attention and she approached us with a cheerful attitude. "Good evening, welcome to Midnight Phantom. Can I get you something from the bar?"

"Yes, I would like some a glass of Margarita and a bottle of Brandy." Rune told him. "Give us some potato chips with jalapeños sauce and the chocolate dipped strawberries."

The waitress nodded. "Alright then, sir." She bowed her head then turns to leave.

"You sounded like you're a regular here." I stated, bumping his shoulder a little.

"Not really, I only come here when I don't have any duty or mission to do." He answered, chuckling. "This spot is great, my lady. I can kiss you senselessly in here."

I gave him a glare. "Manners, Rune. I am not a cheap slut who will make out with you in the club."

"Alright then, get ready for s unlimited kiss when we return back to the mansion later." He warned, dangerously and I can't help but to blush.

Seriously, his affect on me is too much. "Rune...?"

"Hmm?" He turns to me, lovingly.

"What will happen if the Chief finds out that we have been going out?" I wondered, biting my lower lip. "I mean, are you willing to tell them the truth?"

A playful smile spreads on his lips. "Why? Are we going out?"

My mouth gaped hearing his question. Is he playing with me?

"I'm just kidding, my lady. Jeez, can't take a joke?" Rune chuckled and pulled me closer to his arms and starts kissing my head. "Of course, I will tell them."

"What are we then?" I asked bravely. "We have been kissing and flirting but...I don't know where to place myself. Should I think of myself as your girlfriend, as your experiment, as your friends or just for fun? Because I'm really confused."

Rune seems like he didn't expect this question from me but in my surprise, he even smirked at me and kissed me once more. "Oh my lady, what am I going to do to you?"

"Answer me, Rune." I glared at him.

"Would you like to be my girlfriend then?" His voice turns husky when he was led that. Oh my, e quickly turned serious in that moment. "Answer me, my lady."

I gulped as I felt the shiver travels through my spine. The way he looks at me makes me doesn't want to even blink. My God, he is asking those things all of sudden. I'm not even mentally prepared. Why do I always speak without even thinking? Now this is my fault.

"Would you want me to?" My eyebrows depended.

"More than anything." He stated, causing heart to do some flips inside my chest. "I want you to be mine, Jasmine Waylord and I can't wait to finally call you my girlfriend."

"Then my answer is...Yes, I will be your girlfriend, Rune Crawford." By the time, I finished my sentence, he crashed his lips onto mine into a savage kiss.

It is so obvious how glad Rune is and I'm still not that comfortable now that he is my boyfriend. Damn, I just made my situation a lot more difficult. I'm fucking engaged and I don't know how to say it to Rune.

And it is so hard to me because I already love him.

I love Rune Crawford and I want to be with him only.
