Tomiwa POV

We had our biology exam yesterday and because I was too heart broken by everything that happened the previous day, I couldn't guarantee myself an 'A' talk less of a 'B' in that subject. Right now I was reading for the Chemistry exam we were going to have in two hours time. I was seated at the back of the class trying my best to study and cram as many things as I could for the exam as well.

While I was studying for the exam I came across one of the questions I had tackled before and the question read : What is the shape of a molecule of CCl4? I didn't need a sooth sayer to tell me that the correct answer was B - tetrahedral. I smiled knowing I was going to crush that particular question if i so ever come across it. It was 30 minutes left on the clock and while everyone was using it to get their writing materials and pack their things to the front of the class, I was still comfortably sitting at the back of the class doing my last minute reading. That is until I perceived that all too familiar cologne. Immediately I knew it was him— Ebuka, and my heart ached in an instant.

"Go away Ebuka." I said not lifting my head to spare him a glance or letting him land. I know I haven't spoken to him in a week now. And truth be told I was hurting more than I could admit, but I had caused so much drift between us that I can't even walk up to him with my full chest .

"Tomiwa please, you have been avoiding me for the past two months now. I can't stomach it any longer, we need to talk."

Whoa, has it been that long? I thought. I didn't even think he was counting so much that it amounted to two months, Shish. We indeed needed to talk but now wasn't the time and here most definitely wasn't the place either. When I didn't move or respond to his statement neither did I give him an audience, he reach out his hands to touch me, but I just swatted it away. I stood up, picked my books, bag and belongings, I gave him a scornful look before I said.

"Talk? As if. Please I have an exam to write in 15 minutes and I am not going to let your conversation ruin my moral. Tch"

At the sound of my hissing at him I went to drop my bag and belongings at the front of the class. Before leaving to use the restroom with my writing materials and math set. By the time I was back in class the invigilator was already there sharing the questions paper and answer sheet. I quickly got inside and took my seat before it got to my turn. I looked round and noticed Ebuka in the far end, at the front-seat I couldn't see his face but I could tell from how his back was slouched that what I said really hurt him. I sigh slouching on my seat as well, I really hate what I am doing to him, but I don't know how to bring myself to stop it either. Like why was it so hard to open up and talk to him? If possible apologize too because I have been unnecessarily mean to him. But no it's hard girl I have been doing up and down.

"Your time starts not. You have 2hours 30mins for this exams so use it wisely." The invigilator said and we all rushed to start our exam. I started with the theory first because I knew that was the one that would actually take so much time. Once I was confident with what I wrote in the theory which was 5 questions and answer 3, I went to the objective to begin.

Immediately, I felt something prick the exposed skin on my left leg and I bent down to check it, only to see that it was mosquitoes, two for that matter feasting on the same spot. I slapped the place and killed them both at the same time. They both died and the fresh blood that they drank from my body was soiled on my palm.

"Eww, gross." I mumbled and came back to my question paper and scanned my table to see if I brought toilet roll with me to clean it. Sadly I didn't see it, instead I had to use a folder peice of paper that was lying lazily on my table. It was after I had opened it up not minding it content and I had cleaned my hand with it, then dawned on me.

"Holy shit!" I cursed beneath my breath but no matter how I said it beneath my breath the invigilator heard loud and clear . It was as if that moment, time stood still and everyone stopped what they were doing. They all turned to look at me holding the peice of paper out in front of me . Everyone was already mumbling and whispering saying all sorts of things like

"Omo exam malpractice. Even you Tomiwa."

"Chaii... and she was forming princess when she first came."

"Oshey exam malpractice - 21 years imprisonment."

So many of my classmates where mumbling saying awful things. Immediately the invigilator got to my table it was the statement that someone made saying Oshey exam malpractice - 21 years imprisonment that resonated in my head.

"Miss Tomiwa Adeshika. May I look at that?." The invigilator said forcefully collecting the pieces of paper from my hand. My whole body was ice cold and so were my hands. How did that get to my table? Who put it there because I don't remember any one putting it there.

"Well what do we have here? Hmm look at that, it's a micro chip, the correct answers to all of the objective question, and theory too. Whao I am impressed that you had that on you and the scanner by the door didn't detect it." He said and I froze. The scanner didn't detect it because I didn't have it on me. This was just really hard to believe. What the hell was going on? It was still so hard to process it. Before I could even process anything futher, I heard loud and clear.

"You are under arrest Miss Tomiwa for taking part in an examination malpractice. You have the right to Remain silent—"

That was the last thing I heard. I didn't wait to hear the rest of it. I didn't wait to figured out how a police official got to my class to arrest me under such short period of time. For once I didn't care that I didn't get to finish my exam, for once I didn't care how badly people would look at me if I so ever bravely chose to show myself in the school again, most of all I didn't care that I left my bag and belongings in that class. All I cared about was getting as far away from the class and from that school as much as I could. With that in mind I did the one and only thing my brains advised me to do.  The one word that could be put together in 3 letter words

RUN!!!
