Oh? New Power Up?!
{LUCY'S POV}
I'm not sure whether I'm lucky or unlucky. The lucky news: while there are hundreds of available gate keys, the primary weapon of celestial spirit mages, there are are only twelve unique golden gate keys. I'm now in possession of one of them.
Her name is Aquarius.
The unlucky news? Celestial spirit magic works using a scale of favor points, or FP. Higher FP means that the spirit is more likely to listen to you. FP run on a scale of -50 to 50 and my FP with Aquarius is currently at -49.
Aquarius is a water elemental spirit. She should be super effective against E.N.D, who specializes in fire magic. If she would attack him, that is! The last five times I summoned Aquarius, she attacked me and ignored my enemy.
Anyway, even though it's based on luck not skill, the fact that a no-name noob like me is the first in the entire game to summon a golden key from the celestial spirit mage lottery drawing has earned me the ire of a few senior players.
Some higher level celestial spirit mages have been trying to pressure me into selling her key for a lot of money. Real-life money. When I refused all the offers, I got so much hate in my chat that I had to turn off the function for a while.
Some people are assholes.
In other news, Aquarius's FP went up to -48 after I refused all the offers.
With my newfound popularity, I've been getting a lot more party requests. A party is when a group of players teams up to take on the opposing tower. The reward is much less because it's split between everyone, but it's faster and easier to conquer floor guardians in groups.
I've been refusing party requests before, but these players made threats I couldn't ignore.
We've made it up to Juvia's floor, but it's mostly them standing back letting me do all the work. I loath to think of them getting any of my reward.
So I decide to use Aquarius. True to form, she immediately turns on me, and a torrent of water blasts out of her jug.
Juvia, a water demon, immediately makes use of it, turning the entire floor into a whirlpool that sweeps my unsuspecting party members up.
Juvia bashes them into walls using the frothy current, quite literally beating my party members to death in a savage tide. Soon, I'm the only one left, since Aquarius already despawned.
She lets me pass. I really need to talk to E.N.D. Doing so always calms me down.
Mira lets me through with a nod and a smile. I open the doors and there he is, only his toothy grin visible from beneath the hood.
My heart does a mini tap dance in my chest.
E.N.D allows me to rant about the awfulness of humanity for a half hour. Then I can't help myself and try to sneakily kill him—because I'm a mage and he's a demon king who still won't tell me where to find Natsu.
E.N.D laughs and makes quick work of my avatar with a fire blast.

Cyber bullies and nasty comments are unfortunately something I and many other people have had to deal with. 😔
I love you all! ♥️♥️
