From what I've been told, Linda and Jason met when he was out walking his dog one afternoon. She was initially scared of the dog - when I first saw it, I was terrified too! - but they recognised each other from school and started talking.

They'd meet often in the park in front of her house, and talk whilst throwing the ball for his dog to run and fetch. They had a lot of things in common, Jason and Linda. They both liked studying, and they both enjoyed ice skating. Trivial things, but things nonetheless.

On the same day the Principal had made the call to the entire school, Linda was to find out about a series of happenings which would not please her at all: but let's not get ahead of herselves.

When school finished, at 3:45 precisely, Linda had taken out her phone again to write to Jason. He didn't reply, so she called him, but he didn't pick up. Mildly concerned, she debated calling his parents.

After all, if he was sick, perhaps she should go buy him some chocolate or a game or something nice to cheer him up.

She was about to call them, when Rellian called her name, alerting her of an extremely cute chihuahua crossing the road beside them. Linda momentarily forgot about Jason, and everything was okay.
