Heya! This is my second Ninjago fanfiction! This is actually a prequel to the first, "I Never Knew". That full-length novel is a Jaya love story :) Make sure you check that out, if you haven't yet!

This story is intended to be a novella (probably around fifteen chapters). I WILL BEGIN POSTING THIS BOOK ON JULY 15TH! I hope to post a chapter per day :)

This is a high school AU where the ninja still have their powers! However, this book, specifically, won't occur during the school year - it's summertime. And the greatest ninja-y thing the team has done so far is defeat the Serpentine. Lord Garmadon is still a threat :)

I don't write anything past PG-13. Kai is a bit of a player in this story, but I will shut down anything that gets too, er...shmexy? LOL I also don't explicitly curse and will use phrases like "he swore" instead :)

Oh, and I mention some brands in here. Disclaimer: I don't own "The Backstreet Boys" or the Five Love Languages or Forever 21 or...any other brands I put in here as I go. I don't own anything but the plot and Skylor's oneliners. Gotta take credit for those.
