Authors Note- I hope you guys are ready for this very special chapter. I took lots of inspiration from my own wedding and ceremony for our special Charlotte and Mia. Their vows are the sweetest and definitely so hard to say when you are deeply in love.

It was late in the night before their wedding and Charlotte couldn't sleep at all. She tossed and she turned and couldn't get her mind to turn off. She didn't want to wake up Mia who was peacefully sleeping beside her. So instead she went down into the kitchen to make herself a cup of tea. She was surprised to find Renee writing at the table.

"Hi Ren, what are you doing awake?" She walked around the counter and began to make her tea. "Need some tea to relax?"

Renee looked up from her paper and smiled at her mom,"I'm just working on a surprise for Mom. I've been working on it all night long."

Charlotte peered over at what she was writing,"A surprise? What is it? I promise I'll keep it a secret."

Renee took a moment to reply, each time she tried to talk about it she found herself tearing up.

"Well mom, I know that people normally give speeches at weddings and I really wanted to surprise both you and Mia with a speech I've written. But you know now… I just want her to know how thankful Ellie and I are for her taking us as her own daughters. I know she didn't have to do that." Renee wipes a tear from her cheek, " I just really love how happy she makes you and us too. She really is just so perfect for our family. I love her so much, Mom."

Charlotte couldn't help but get emotional listening to Renee,"Oh Renee, that is so thoughtful of you. Mia really saved us as a family didn't she? Without her, I would've never seen you girls again if your dad had it his way." She walked over to her daughter and gave her a hug,"But because of Mia, we live such a wonderful life together as a family and it gives me such peace knowing you have two loving parents now."

There was a soft silence as the two girls embraced and held each other. Charlotte gently rubbed Renee's back while Renee relished in her mother's loving touch.

"Try not to stay up too long, my lovie. It's late and we've got a big day don't we?"

Charlotte smiled and gave her a kiss on her head before grabbing her cup of tea. She was about to head back upstairs when Renee called out to her.

"Mom?"

"Yes?"

"Will you tuck me in please?"

"Of course. Let's go love." Charlotte got Renee all settled into her bed. She was so happy that even at 13 years old that Renee still wanted her "mommy" to tuck her in sometimes.

Time passed by so slowly through the night and Charlotte didn't sleep a wink. But no one would know that because she was running off of high adrenaline and just couldn't contain her excitement. She was ready to wake up Mia exactly at 7am and gave her quite a big good morning kiss.

"Mia!! It's our wedding day!!" She squealed in excitement. Even though Mia wasn't a morning person, she loved when Charlotte woke her up in such a cute way.

"I know,sweet girl! It's our big day!" She chuckled, "I guess we need to start heading to the venue, hm?  Talked with your mom and she's coming here with Ellie and Renee until they have to come for the ceremony. Just so they're not bored."

"Okay! Let's get our dresses and kiss the girls goodbye. Marjorie and Reese just messaged that they're at the venue setting up the getting ready room."

Charlotte was so excited she thought her heart would explode inside of her chest. Mia was just as excited but was playing it cool, she wanted to stay calm so she could double check they had everything. Once everything was packed up in the car, they began the journey to the castle. They rode in comfortable silence and held hands as Mia drove.

It was a hassle to get everything brought into the building but Charlotte didn't even care she was so excited.  She wasn't really thinking and took too much in her hands and couldn't see where she was walking. Luckily enough, Mia could see the potential fall risk and was there to catch her.

"Wow princess, falling for me again?" She teased and gave her a big kiss. "Be a little more careful, okay? Can't have you go to the hospital on our wedding day."

Charlotte made sure to find a spot to sit in while Marjorie got her ready with her makeup. She was so honored when Char asked her not only to stand by her side, but also to do her hair and makeup. She always knew Charlotte was beautiful but watching her radiate with love and happiness made her glow. So she made sure to only accentuate Char's features and made sure to bring out her adorable freckles.

"Alright my love, what do you think?" Marjorie handed her a mirror and almost immediately Charlotte began to cry. "Oh no! Is it bad?"

"N-no I've just never felt so beautiful. Thank you Marjorie." She hugged Marjorie and pulled back with a smile,"Sorry to scare you, I didn't know I was gonna blubber like that." She laughed a little.

The morning passed by so quick and it hit Charlotte that no one had heard anything from Mia, Autumn, and Reese in a while. Fuck, she knew better than to leave them alone unsupervised. She slid on her robe and began to look for them with Carly by her side.

She saw something she had never expected to see from Autumn and Reese though. They both had written letters for Mia and were in the process of reading them to her. Autumn was barely keeping it together and Reese was straight up  crying. She smiled at the kind gesture and chose to leave them be. They deserved that healing moment together.

"Omg that seriously was cute. I didn't even know they could emote like that." Carly joked as they walked away from the room.

"Me either but I think it was so sweet." Charlotte smiled,"Carly I think it's time that we get into our dresses."

Carly squealed as she ushered Charlotte and Marjorie into their dressing room. The girls were wearing a deep purple and Reese a suit and tie to match. Charlotte helped them get into their dresses and cried looking at them all beautified. She knew she had the best people in her life ever at that moment. But before she could really get going, she realized she needed to get into her own dress.

Mia was getting dressed on the other side of the castle with Reese and Autumn. She had managed to keep it a secret from Charlotte the color of her dress and was eager to show it off. But she knew she had to wait for the ceremony. Autumn and Reese looked very regal in their outfits. It was clear that Winter and Marjorie would be drooling over them later on. Mia couldn't blame them for that either.

In the blink of an eye, it was time to line up for the ceremony. The order was their daughters first, Marjorie and Reece, Autumn and Carly then Mia and Charlotte would walk separately.  Charlotte stayed behind to make sure she wasn't seen before the ceremony and was starting to feel a bit anxious about everyone seeing her. The music began to play for the procession and she smiled at the thought of it being time already.

Once everyone besides Mia and Charlotte had walked down, Renee took the microphone from their officiant and cleared her voice.

"Hi everyone. As most of you guys know, I'm Charlotte's daughter. Two years ago we were living  with my biological father and there wasn't much laughter in our house. I've always known my mom was brave and strong but I had no idea how strong she was. When I came home from school and met Mia, I'll never forget the change of the mood in our home. My mom hasn't gone a day without laughter since meeting Mia and neither have Ellie and I. I remember I was going through a lot at school after the separation and felt like I had no one. Well Mia took me to school one morning and it changed my life. She taught me to just say "fuck them" and live my life how I wanted to. She showed me what a real friend looks like. Because she was never just my mom, but is my best friend. My beautiful mother, Charlotte, always showed me what a mom's love feels like and I'm so glad that she brought Mia into our lives so I could experience it doubled. Nothing has made my life more meaningful than having Mia and Charlotte to support and love me even through my stupid teenage angst." Renee had tears running down her cheeks as she made it through the end of her speech," Mama and Mom I love you both so much and I'm so glad we are all here to celebrate your beautiful love."

Mia and Charlotte were a mess as they listened to Renee's sentimental declaration of love for her parents. Mia wiped the tears from her eyes and shook her worries off, it was her turn to walk down the aisle. Charlotte and Mia had spent a long time finding the perfect song to walk down to.

Your eyes whispered "Have we met?"

Across the room, your silhouette

Starts to make its way to me

That was Mia's cue to go and the moment the doors opened, everyone was mesmerized by her beautiful green gown. Everyone stood captivated by Mia  and yet all she could think about was how ethereal she was sure Charlotte looked. She took everything in as she made her way down the aisle. She caught eyes with so many beloved friends and took a deep breath as she made it to the altar. She pulled Renee and Ellie in for a hug,

"I love you, my beautiful and amazing daughters. I'm so excited to marry your mom today." 

The girls opened their mouths to speak when they looked to see the doors about to open again for Charlotte.

The lingering question kept me up

2 am, who do you love?

I wonder til I'm wide awake

Now I'm pacing back and forth

Wishing you were at my door

Mia's breath caught in her throat as she watched her gorgeous Charlotte make her way towards her. Fuck, she had never looked more like a goddess. Mia wondered if Charlotte knew she was enchanted to meet her. She felt tears slide down her cheeks.

Charlotte was equally as shocked as she looked at the bewitching beauty waiting for her. She couldn't wipe the smile off her face when she noticed Mia's gown was green. She knew it! She figured Mia would end up with a more whimsical dress then expected. Finally Charlotte was close enough to reach out and grab Mia's hands. She was shaking with anticipation for their vows.

"Hi Sweetheart." Mia whispered, causing Charlotte to blush.

"Hi Mia."

She felt like she was floating and was getting lost in Mia's eyes. And before she knew it, it was time to do their Irish blessing to bind them together for all life times.

Their officiant asked Mia to repeat after them first.

"May you never steal, lie or cheat."

"May you never steal, lie or cheat."

"But if you must steal, Charlotte, steal away my sorrow."

"If you must steal, sweetheart, steal away my sorrow"

"And if you must lie, lie with me all the nights of my life."

"If you must lie, lie with me all the nights of my life."

"And if you must cheat, cheat death because I couldn't live a day without you."

Mia felt a lump forming in her throat, "And if you must cheat, then please c-cheat death because I can't live a day without you Charlotte."

"Charlotte, will you repeat after me? May you never steal, lie or cheat."

"May you never steal, lie or cheat."

"But if you must steal, steal away my sorrows."

"But if you must steal, I'm glad you stole away my sorrows." Charlotte felt tears burning in her eyes.

"And if you must lie, lie with me all the nights of my life."

"And if you must lie, please lie with me all the nights of my life."

"And if you must cheat, cheat death because I couldn't live a day without you."

"A-and if you must cheat, pl-please cheat death because we-" She gestured to herself, Ellie and Renee,"we couldn't live a day without you, Mia."

Mia gave Charlotte a tender forehead kiss and pulled her in a hug. She smiled down at her love as they grabbed their rings from Reese and Marjorie.

"Mia, with this ring do you take Charlotte to be yours in every lifetime?"

"Yes, I do." Mia smiled as she slid Charlotte's finger onto her finger.

"Charlotte, with this ring do you take Mia to be yours in every universe?"

"I do." Charlotte's hands were shaky as she slid Mia's ring on.

"I pronounce you wife and wife. It's my pleasure to announce Amelia and Charlotte Roberts! You may kiss the bride!"

Didn't have to tell Mia twice. She pulled Charlotte close to her body and kissed her with such love and passion it made her head dizzy. She was so glad to call Charlotte her wife and figured she'd be doing it a lot now. Just because she loved bragging about Charlotte.
Pictures were a blur and the next thing Mia and Charlotte can recall was their first dance as wives.

"May I have this dance, Princess?"

"Yes yes you may." Charlotte took hold of Mia's hand as they danced the night away.

And like the dawn, you broke the dark

And my whole world shook

At last

Mia pulled Charlotte's head onto her chest as she sang along to her," You were the brightest shade of sun I'd ever seen. Your skin was guilted with the gold of the richest kings. And like the dawn, you woke the world inside of me."

At last, they had found true happiness
