"Babe I am so sorry. Maybe this is my karma for being a hindrance with your love for him. Becoming an incompetent mate for you."

This is Ford Allan Kunaanuwit talking to his mate and husband as they stares at the result of the pregnancy kit they bought from the pharmacy.

They kept on trying to get themselves a baby for almost nine years now but they always end up on the same page.

"Hey babe. Don't ever say that. I will get upset if you keep on having that mindset. It's as if your saying that us being mates is all wrong. Please baby always remember that you are my omega and I am your Alpha. We are meant for each other. Okay?"

This one is Ford's mate and husband Mark Pakin Kunaanuwit. He knows that his mate is having this thoughts is because they were not like this in the past. Ford is a late bloomer. He's omega genetic imprint did not show up as expected during his age of maturity because of some complications when he was sick at the age of ten. Which is why Mark was not able to find out that Ford was his mate at the very beginning.

Mark and Ford were childhood besties. They always hangout with each other since they were kids and their parents always says that they were inseparable. That is true though and no one complained about it anyway. Everyone thought that they are bound to be friends and be in each other's tail but not until they became teenagers.

Mark has been identified as an Alpha at a young age already while Ford is still not showing any signs. He was bullied at middle school because of it and Mark is always his knight in shining armour. Making Ford to fall for his friend without the other knowing it. At that time, Ford is contented by just being with Mark's side or by admiring him from afar.

However, things do not always go smoothly as what we perceived them to be.

Everything went haywire for Ford when they both go into university. Mark as the goody rich kid that he is enrolled in College of business administration while Ford took Mass Communications. Since they were in different faculty they rarely meet each other. Those are that days where Ford experienced his first heartache.

Mark were rumored to have a girlfriend. She was their department's sweetheart and Ford could say that she was very stunning for Mark not to admire her. Ford was so hurt that time but he still chose to be a friend to Mark even though he was dying day by day just by hearing how the love of his life adore the girl in front of him. It was pure torture but that was nothing compared to what happened next. Mark made his relationships like he was just changing his clothes and everytime he share it with Ford, the latter just listen to each stories with a broken heart. It hurts yes but Ford was able to endure everything thinking that Mark is not serious of his partners. He's an Alpha after all. It's their nature to find their compatible mate.

However, Ford's world began to crumble when Mark met Fourth Nattawat Jirochtikul. An omega who has whole living few blocks away from their subdivision. The guy was indeed beautiful as what Mark told him about and he can see the love in Mark's eyes everytime he stares at the omega.

At that time, Mark's family restaurant business was just turned over to him as the only son and heir and Fourth was their part time employee. Ford as the branch manager from where the new apple of the eye of his love is working, he witness how Mark is head over heels to the cute omega like everyday.

What makes it so painful for Ford, it's the thought that Mark can be with someone like a male omega but why is it that it could not be him?

Moreover, he knows that Mark is serious in pursuing Fourth because he was never this persistent with his exes even though Fourth turned down the Alpha several times. In addition to this, Mark still continued to pursue Fourth after knowing that the omega has kids already and he even brought them three just to make Mark understand why he keeps on rejecting him.

On that point, Ford already knows that it was the end of everything for him and as always, he ends up crying in his room all alone. Laughing at himself for being the live adaptation of the song: Friend of mine. Every lyrics perfectly describes how pathetic he was and its hurting him up to the deepest part of his soul.

Everything is hopeless.

Then one night, Ford went to Mark to bring him some goods like usual but he was surprised by what he saw. He found Mark in his condo drunk and wasted with tears running down his face. Mumbling nothing but Fourth's name as he wails in pain.

Seeing the latter's current situation, Ford runs towards the guy without hesitation as he drops the groceries on the floor.

"Hey what is wrong with you? Why are you this drunk?" Ford starts to nag as soon as he reached the poor Mark that is lying on the floor like an idiot.

"F-Fourth? Baby please don't do this to me. I love you so much."

So he is capable of making you beg like this? Huh Mark?

Ford's thoughts as he stares at his friend with eyes full of pain and pity. Mark was never been this way towards him. Never.

"Get a hold yourself idiot. I'm For-"

Ford tried to kick the hell out of the remaining sanity into his best friend's mind right now but he was not able to even do anything when suddenly, Mark pinned him on the cold floor of his silent room.

"What the hell Mark!!! Let me go!"

Ford is now starting to get scared because of what Mark is doing. He tried to get himself free from the Alpha's grip but no matter what he do,  he'll just end up exhausted.

"Shhh...stay still my love. You will be mine tonight." Said by the Alpha as he starts nibbling on the latter's neck.

"M-Mark no! W-wake up please. I'm not Fourth." Ford tears began to fall as he pleads at the Alpha. His best friend.

"No Fourth. I love you so much. Don't do this to me." Said by the Alpha as he continuously rained the neck whimpering Ford.

Ford who is now too weak to resist just lay there as he cries. He's already exhausted from all of the effort to free himself up. All he could was to cry so loud but no matter how he wails, no could hear them from outside hence this room is sound proof.

"Mark please. It's me Ford. Don't do this to me." The younger tried to beg for his safety but the Alpha is no longer hearing his wails. Not when he's rut is already clouding his senses.

No..why of all this time?

Ford's thoughts as he stares at the blazing red eyes of the Alpha in front of him. Lust is evident in Mark's fiery gaze as it roams around the younger's  body. Totally exposed to the hungry Alpha.

Yes, Ford's clothes were now torn to pieces as Mark absentmindedly ripped it apart. The helpless lamb is now shaking furiously underneath the Alpha but no one there is able to help him.

Mark starts to plant some kisses all over the latter's body while moaning someone else name. That made Ford to cover his mouth with his hand as he cries in silence. He's too tired to struggle anymore so he's just praying that this will end soon.

Ford never imagined that Mark will be the one who'll tamper the body he treasured so much. He may love him with all his heart but his touches and kisses on every hem of his skin send bolt after bolts of disgust to Ford knowing that it was not him in his mind as he does this.

Ford just stay still on the cold tiled floor as Mark begin to thrust his shaft into him with even prepping him up. Waves after waves of painful expression registered into Ford's face as he clutches onto the Alpha's back for support. Mouth agape and watering due to the extreme pain and pleasure that he feels with every movement of their hips.

With one final thrust, Mark's seeds exploded inside Ford as he marked him without even knowing who he was sleeping with.

Ford lost his consciousness due to severe tiredness and so is Mark. However, in the former's mind, he only think of one thing.

His very own best friend raped him.

At the morning of next day, Ford was rushed in the hospital because of having a very high fever and Mark almost break everything in his room because of guilt. He did something unforgivable and he knows that Ford will never ever give that to him.

After some series of laboratories and examinations, the doctor that handles Ford's case was able to diagnose that Ford's fever is due to the sudden changes that is happening into his body. He is now showing the signs of being an omega and they were able to confirmed that after undergoing the later into CT scan. However, what they told Ford next almost crumble his entire world.

He's not in a good condition to conceive an offspring.

It's like saying that he is a useless for an omega since the only purpose of his existence was deprived from him.

Saying that Ford was devastated is beyond compare. He just wanted to die this instant because of all the things that happened into his life. Mark did not even dare to place the omega a visit because he was feeling very guilty about what he did. That goes on until Ford was discharged from the hospital.

"Ford please hear me out. I don't want to lose you too. I just can't."

"Mark, just please...please get out of my house. I don't want to see you right now or else, I will not be able to make it."

The jolly Ford was gone. All that's left is an ice cold omega who wanted to set boundaries of himself against the world that hurt him. Even from his best friend.

But Mark just shake his head vigorously as he kneeled in front of Ford. Hugging his legs in the process as if it will be the last time that he will see his buddy if he'll let him go.

"Mark!!!!!! Stop this right now! You know what? You are already lucky enough that you are not in jail at this moment. What you did to me, will always be in my mind."

Both are now crying like as they stare at each other.

"I know that I made a huge mistake. I understand you're anger bu-"

"No Mark!!!! You don't understand me at all!!! You know why? Because it's always been you. I love you, you idiot!!!!!!!"

"F-ford? H-how? W-when?"

"I don't know. Since we were in middle school? Nevertheless, it's no longer important right? But since everything will end this day, let me tell you all of it. Yes, I'm in love with my best friend. This stupid heart of mine always beats for you. No matter how hurt he was everytime you tell me that you are pursuing someone. Heck even when you tell me how you fuck around with your exes this bulshit of a heart endured all of it. Am I a masochist? Yeah I think so." The omega laugh at himself as he wipe the tears off his eyes. How pathetic of him to be this petty.

"I was that dumb for my love of you Mark. Even if you are mumbling someone else's name while you're claiming me, I am still feeling happy because at last, I was able to be have you even if it's just one night. Even if it's just temporary. I was goddamn happy."

"Ford I- I'm so-"

"Stop!!!! Don't you ever dare to say sorry. Even just this one last time. I beg you, don't ever make me think that everything that happened that night wasn't your intention at all. Just leave this place. I don't want to see you ever again."

"Ford-"

"JUST FUCKING LEAVE!!! PLEASE MARK!!!"

Ford's outburst made the latter astonished but he undertand the latter though. So Mark indeed left the omega alone but he promised to himself that he will do anything in his power to bring back everything even if he would take responsibility of what happened between him and Ford.

True to his words, Mark did not give up on Ford. He always did everything day by day, weeks by weeks, months by months until Ford will be able to forgive him.

And here they are now, still together and is married to each other.

"Listen Ford. All that we've been though is the proof that we are meant for each other. So don't ever think that I should be with somebody else because I'd rather die than not having you in my life. That's how much influence you have in me. I fell in love with you more than you'll ever know baby. I'm obsessed." Mark confessed as he hugged his mate tightly in his arms. Afraid that he might lose his baby if he don't.

"I'm sorry if my insecurities ate my confidence Mark. Please forgive me."

"No baby. You don't need to say sorry. I had my fair share on that too so I'm sorry. Listen why don't we go back to our OB and consider the option that he offered us before? Hmm? I know that you wanted to have them naturally that's why we tried to do it for a long time now but there's nothing wrong if we consider it. What do you say?"

"Okay let's do that. You're correct. We've been trying for a long time now. I think it's for the better before it's too late for us."

"Thank you baby. You're so brave. I love you."

"Thank you too. I love you. Always."

So the next day, they set an appointment with their OB regarding the option that they are willing to partake now to have an offspring of their own. After discussing the pros and cons, they opt to find a perfect surrogate mother and start the extraction of samples from Ford and Mark after a month. The operation was successful and in 9 months turn, they are going to welcome a new family.

"Are you happy baby?"

"Yes!!! And very excited too. We are going to have our baby soon Mark."

"I know."

"We have to tell Fourth." Ford state in excitement before he looked for the best flight to Bangkok.

"It really puzzles me of how did you too end up being best of friends. It's not that I complain though because I know how good of a person Fourth was. I'm just curious. Is it really possible for you to be besties?"

"Oh shut up. You telling it yourself that Fourth is a good person and there's nothing for me to worry about because he despised your face. He can't stand you before and even begged for me to just seduce you so that he will be free from your annoying face. Besides, it's not the guy's fault."

"Damn, I am so lucky to have you as my mate."

"As you should be. Now help me schedule a flight for us. I missed the triplets so much. I wanna cuddle them."

"Chai Khrub."

Mark replied before planting a soft kiss on his mate's forehead. Earning him a soft giggle that he always adore.
