"Hello Fourth? What's going on? Why are you calling me this early. Did something happen?"

"Fourth are you still there?...wait he's not yet disconnected is he? Fourth?! Hello!"

"H-ello F-Ford. Yes I'm still here."

"Gosh I was worried for a sec. What's going on?" Ford worriedly asked as he felt that something is quite odd on Fourth's tone.

"Who is that sweetcakes? It's so early."

"Its Fourth.... Wait a sec Fourth. Let me put you on speaker."

"Hello Mark. Good morning haha. Sorry for the disturbance."

Fourth said full of remorse. It's just around two o'clock in the morning. Now he felt guilty by how the couple sounded groggily over the phone.

"No Fourth. Don't think of something like that. Ford and I are here for you always you know that. What's the matter buddy? You wouldn't call my Sweetcake this early for nothing. Would you?"

"Thanks you two. It's somewhat urgent actually. We will cancel the company event. I'm sorry for doing this so late but I can't afford to risk the kids. I'll compensate the expenses for the transportation and lodging that your team has spent so far. Again I'm sorry."

"Wait...what? h-hold on, you have spoken a lot. What safety are you talking about? Who dares to hurt our babies?" Ford began being hysterical just by hearing about the triplets. Well, he loved them like his own child so just by hearing that they are not safe got a toll out of his heart. Omegas regardless if male or female are born with motherly instincts.

Anyway going back, Fourth became silent for a while as he contemplate the talk he had with Gemini.

They are now in Mae Ning's house and Gem is currently taking his shower. It was about nine in the evening when they arrived here because of what happened at the farm.

Mae Ning and her husband Nick was so worried upon hearing what has happened. Especially that their grandsons are involved with the incident.

And so....Fourth begins telling the story to Mark and Ford.

Earlier........

"What is going on Lion? What is that nonsense you're calling our kids earlier? Tell me now or I swear!!" Fourth exclaimed in fury as he faced his fated pair.

They're back at the farmhouse this time. The intruders were caught by the police already while their alpha leader were brought to the hospital as he's on a critical condition. The man was identified as the son of the current acting governor of the city. The black sheep of the family to be exact.

According to the police. He was on the loose for several months now from all of the pending cases against him like drug trafficking, sexual assualt and rape. Luka's mother is one of these cases.

"I'm sorry for not telling you about it this early Lioness. It's not like I want to keep it from you believe me." Gemini answered his omega as he grabbed him into his arms. Hugging Fourth to console his anger. "I just don't want you to worry like this."

"But Gem, they are my children too and we just had promised that we should lean to each other's shoulders right?"

"I know Lioness and again I am really sorry."

"I am extremely disappointed Lion I tell you. Now spill."

Gem could only heave a heavy sigh. He knows now that no words can console his angry omega at this time.

"Okay. I'll tell you everything. Let's begin the story from my early childhood." Gemini started as he pulled Fourth to sit on his lap.

" As I was not a legitimate child Fourth, I had a little brother once. He is also an Alpha like me. His name is Tinn..short for Tinnaphob. He was my grandma's favorite hence he was the child of my biological dad and her in-favored daughter in law."

Gemini continued as he reminisced about the past. Heaving heavily as he utters every word.

"They were a picture of a perfect family in the faces of the media while me and my mom hid in the dark as we begged for my father's time. One day everything went upside down when the three of them died in an accident. Grandma put the blame on us as soon as she discovered that we are the reason why the couple had a fight before the crash.

She's very upset of the event but even so, they still brought us to their house as I am now their only heir plus I'm a high alpha too. Grandpa was somehow tolerable even though he's strict with me on some things like learning the business but Grandma is different. She's just a walking evil. I suffered a lot of hurtful words and beatings from her. Me and my mom actually but Grandpa has no idea about it though.

I did not experience a normal life of a teenager. All I did was to maintain the family's reputation and businesses at the golden spot.

Then .... I met you during those dark hours of my life. We were so young back then and it was just a pick for fun but yet that was the most unforgettable moment of my life. It may be just for one night but I felt normal. Not someone with so much burden on his shoulders.

My life even became miserable after that though. Grandpa has died and Grandma controlled everything but not until I turned twenty. As per Grandpa's will I am the sole proprietor of all his assets once I reached that age.

Grandma was very furious because of that .....like very furious. I did not think that much before though because she's upset of me and mom right from the beginning. However just recently, she came back with an omega whom she wanted me to marry and have kids as soon as possible."

Hearing that made Fourth to stare at the Alpha with mix emotions. Sad and jealous.

"Stop that look Lioness. I love you the most okay. Anyway going back, I was so curious of her whereabouts so I had my grandmother under surveillanced with one of my trusted underling. That is when I found out her plan. A plan which involves our children."

"Huh? What does it have to do with our boys? I don't understand." Fourth coed full of confusion.

"You see, my grandma is a renowned archeologist Fourth. According to P'Bright's report, she was able to get a hand on some sumerian artifacts that is said to have the secrets to eternal life."

"Oh my, so she wanted to bring her dead son and family back to life?" Fourth grasp out of wonder.

"Sadly yes, but she needs a vessel for their souls. One vessel for each. However it is not just an ordinary vessel. They have to be enigmas." Gemini moved to comb his hand on Fourth's delicate hair with eyes mirroring his fear. Gem is afraid for the safety of his family. He knows by now that his grandmother already has an idea about them and their status.

"You've been telling me that word since earlier but until now, I still don't get it. What's an enigma?" Fourth said with a hint of worry as well. He knows that Gemini is afraid of something that he looks so weary and pale at the moment.

Gemini heaved a deep sigh. It's time for Fourth to know about it.

"Enigmas are known to be the Alpha of all the Alphas in ancient times. Their records are limited though because having an enigma offspring is close to impossible except for a small chance if both or at least one of the parents are pure blooded." Gemini paused for a bit to look at Fourth's face. "Like you and me."

"So you mean our boys might be enigmas?" Fourth asked in awe with this new revelation being bombarded at him by Gemini. He can't believe that his three little boys have this innate bloodline inside of them.

"Not might Lioness. They are enigmas. Given those abilities they shown us, there's no doubt that they are indeed enigmas." Gemini concluded with a worried face. Combing his hair backwards as he heaved another sigh of frustration.

"Then what should we do Lion? I'm afraid that your grandmother might target them for her experiment. Do your parents know about this?"

"I will tell them once we're back but don't worry, I will not let my grandma do that. She must walk on my corpse first before anything else."

Fourth instantly look at Gem with a seething gaze. Failing to hide his worry after hearing his fated pair this time. Gemini and the triplets is his life. He can't take it if either one of them will be hurt.

"Gem...please don't say that. I don't want to hear that ever again. Do you hear me Lion?!"

"No Fourth..I don't mea-"

"Promise me!!!

"Shhh....come here Lioness. I'm sorry." Gemini hugged his trembling fated pair to console him. Now he regrets it so much that he said that thing. "I'm sorry....shhh...stop crying... I'm sorry."

"Just don't say those words again."

"Hmm...I promise." Said by the former before he planted some soothing kisses on the Omega's crown.

Presently......

Gemini and Fourth both agreed to cancel Veggies & Yum's event for now since that might be used by Gem's grandmother to execute her plan of abducting the kids.

They talked about it with Gemini's parents over dinner as soon as they arrived. Mae Ning was astonished upon hearing the things that her mother-in-law is planning to do. Nick is far worse. He can't believe that his very own mother would disrespect the resting place of his twin and his family just because of her obsession of bringing them back.

However, since Gemini and his family just arrived from an 8 hour long drive, the Titicharoenrak's decided to let it sit for now and have them take their rest.

Fourth just finished his talk with Mark and Ford and agreed that they will just hold a simple get together at Gemini's house then so that still, they could continue the birthday celebration that they always do for the triplets. He called Satang and Winny to join them too.

Fourth will see if Gem would agree to that though that is why he is waiting for Gemini to finish his shower.

It did not take too long though hence a few minutes after, Gemini came out of the bathroom half naked with only a towel covering his hidden gem.

Fourth almost lost his sanity because of how Gemini served him with that body to drool over.

The droplets of water on his Alpha's well-toned torso is a living temptation.

Good thing that he was able to calm his inner omega down or else, he will be in an unscheduled heat just by staring at Gemini's temptatious body.

"Gem...uhm..I have something to ask you."

"Of course Lioness. Anything you want." Gemini replied nonchalantly as he started getting dressed. Fourth could ask him the moon and he would willingly give him that.

"It's about the kid--"

Fourth was about to tell so but he was interrupted by a sudden call on Gemini's cell that is actually beside the omega which is why Gem asked him who's calling.

"Uhm it says Aun." Fourth replied as he handed the device over to his Alpha.

"Yes Aun?.." Gemini answered as soon as he finished wearing his tops.

"I have an update about those thugs who trespassed in your farm. I have P'Bright here too. He has something to tell you about the results of your children's labs. Is your omega with you?"

"Yes Fourth is here."

"Good...Then put the phone on speaker. He needs to hear this too."

Gem was confused at first but still he complied. However, as soon as Gem's subordinates started dropping their news to the couple, a sudden shout from the other room caught their attention.

"DADDY!! PAPA!!! HELP SHAUN FAINTED!!!!!"
