This is a date part of my upcoming romance novel :

Darren McCarthy a rich businessmen who falls in love at first sight with Jaccey Steves who is an interior designer.

This date is planned by Jaccey after she completed designing his place.

It was all dark when he arrived, only light of his Mercedes helped him to make out that Jace was standing there in light colored body hugging dress up to her thigh and her hairs tied to one side matched with pretty accessories and heals, looking extremely beautiful. He wanted to take a look of her in clear lights.

She was waiting for him impatiently,as he neared her, she can make out he was looking handsome in his black suit and light peach shirt which she had gifted him for tonight. Had also wore the perfume which he had purchased cause she loved it.

He checked nearby to find out that even street lights were off. Lights from far away neighbouring bungalows and that side of street lights were lights besides moonlight. He couldn't clearly make out how his bungalow, lawn was looking from gate.

"Jace what's wrong, is there any issue with electricity?", Darren asked keeping his hand on her lower back and found that her dress was backless, he caressed it trying look in her eyes in this dark.

Removing his hand from her back placing it on her waist "Is it dark yet?", she smiled and asked when whole place embraced with light.

As he averted his gaze in front he could see big yellow lamp either side of gate. Small pathway to door was lighten with maroon colored paper lamps hung with the help tree and support of wires. House which was pitch white month ago was now dark-light shades of purple along with some white. Dim lights were making it look heaven at night.

They went inside, whole decor was changed, though he had imagined how it will look like but reality was more beautiful. He adored place and appreciated Jace for her work. She lead them to terrace where lavender paper lamps were lighted and round table, two chairs were placed. Food trolley was placed on the right side of table and there was small speaker in the corner. Place was looking more than beautiful candle light theme. No doubt she was commendable at her job. He noticed that whole place was empty no sign of his servants or guards were available.

Some wild thoughts ran in his mind thinking about all alone with his love.

Tonight was the night when Jace had thought to answer his proposal of being together, but she knew if she said yes it will lead to their marriage for which she was not ready yet, she really loved him too, so asking for six months of relationship and then a further step was her plan which she would clarify to him, she thought to herself.

"It's gorgeous, the decor and these arrangements...... I'm out of words Jace", he kissed her cheeks and let his lips lingered for more then required seconds. She smiled happily, proud of herself and said,"Today I'll give you answer for which you are waiting."

Jace hadn't cooked for him but she had taken enough efforts to get his favourite dishes from special restaurants.

When she started to serve, Darren took hold of her wrist, "Please allow me", they chatted while eating, he couldn't stop talking about how beautiful decor was whilst not leaving the part that he was eager to see his bedroom and know her answer.

She attached her iPad to speaker and played a romantic song, they danced slowly his hands on her back whereas her one hand on his shoulder while other on his nape also and in between playing with his hairs. She could see he was loving this moment and thought now this is the time she can make it perfect, thinking of this she couldn't help but blush. Going close to his ears, "Darren?",she whispered barely audible.

He smiled widely he understood this was the very moment, he knew she liked her maybe a lot but was that enough from her side to go for commitment now, he was not sure about this. Growing impatient but trying to sound calm, "Yes Jace!" She was starring in his eyes which made him stare too, minutes passed Jace didn't say anything and suddenly she hugged him tight then again looking at him in to his eyes she said it " Darren I love you, I love you a lot" and leaned forward to kiss him.

They had kissed thrice before but this time he was very gentle like saving each moment of it and feeling her soft lips against his own taking his time to make the moment entirely perfect. They broke away to get some breath resting their heads against each other. Darren said, "oh shit that ring, I don't know where I kept, I'm sorry I just couldn't find it out-", he was apologizing her but she placed finger on his lips, "Sush! It's right here", she brought purple velvet box which was placed in last row of trolley and handed him.

"Jace you don't know how grateful and lucky I'm to have you", he placed ring on her finger kissing the ring, he said, " I love you Jace and I want to be with you for rest of my life" and they hugged each other tightly saving their lovely moment.
