Chapter 8
It was the day. It was finally the day. Marr is waiting for me below, outside of the tower in front of the school with Ollie. Jace had his key and I mine, and it was sunset. We had walkie talkies, and I told him to the count of five.
"One..."
"Two..."
"Three..."
"Four..."
"FIVE!" Click. I had the chest unlocked and he did too. A blue light shone, then green, yellow, purple, orange, pink, red, blue, yellow... the colors didn't stop. They were like the Aurora Borealis... I removed the lock and opened the chest, my face turned away from the light. People could be heard gasping outside. I looked down, and there laid a large dress on top. I removed it and underneath was a book, scepter, crown, and box of jewelry. All of these were a dark blue with sparkles like stars. There was a note and a key laying upright against the pillow all of the other items lay upon. I picked them up and read the note:
Dear Princess Chelsea,
I am the goddess of the moon. I have blessed you with the care of my son, Marleigh Volgavh, and I need you to protect him. You are the heiress to the Celestial Throne, and I need you to protect the kingdom of Shada with your soul mate, Prince Jace of Shada. You are my fourth cousin's great great granddaughter and are now blessed with your powers. I kept them locked in the chest. Look under the pillow and you will find a glass orb; treat it with thine's care. I wish you farewell, my darling.
Your Auntie,
Haldevaah Volgavh, Goddess of the Moon
P.S.,
That light was your magic, you can shift into any form of your desire, and you have powers that I will explain in the book. I do love you, dear. My own blood. Please care for my son. I also gave you the idea of his name. Lastly, please find an open field for you and Jace to practice. Also, this is not the original castle you own - it is hidden well behind it. That mountain behind your schoolhouse is your castle disguised as, well, you see. Goodbye. I will watch you from the skies and the seas, protecting you as much as I am allowed.
Whoa. What is this? I removed the pillow and pulled the orb out. There was a stand beside the flower pot on the table next to me. I removed the heavy thing gently and put the orb on it's stand. A gray smoke was seen in the glass. A light shone from the smoke and a vocal message began with a 'ting ting' noise.
"Hello, dear Princess. I am your great great grandfather. It is time Shada got it's power back when you hear this message. I need you to wear all of what is in the chest, you might need some assistance with it. Go to the mountain and find the Doorway. The schoolhouse will give you everything you need. That key is to the Mountain. Go by the next two sunsets. Thank you.
King Valker Burligh the Third"
Ting ting.
The message was over. I looked at the dress and everything I had. I placed everything but the note, key and orb back into the chest, and legs grew that stretched to walk downstairs. I whistled it to me and put the old key and the lock in the chest. I stood up, turned around, and walked to the basement. I felt the pull, and allowed my legs to carry me to my things. This was going to be fun. Sigh.

I finally reached the bottom. The chest followed suit still, and I found myself in front of a door with the Female sign and walked in; at the same time, Jace was there too, but we would wait until after we were ready for greetings.
I found some maids/ladies made of stone and they bowed for a moment, then got to work. I was sat at a vanity and one stone girl got to work on my hair while another on my makeup. The other four were preparing my dress and things. Three mannequins stood, one with a corset, another with a lavender silk slip gown, and the last with my beautiful dress adorned with shining little dots like stars on the dark blue velvet; I looked closer and they were like actual stars, but when I chicken-maneuvered my head to the left then right, it was like looking into space. Galaxies floated on the breast area, and on the sleeves were beautiful asteroid rings. I saw walking boots similar to the dress and a carrying bag with probably loads of things inside sat in a chair several feet from my dress in the darkness. The stone girls were set a chatter and I twittered along in conversation. Their voices were silky and nothing like their forms, of which looked like well-carved stone statues. They wore clothes and things humans would wear.
"So, what race of creature, Earth or Space, are you girls?" I smiled at them and they didn't seem bothered, as I was only curious and never met such kind creatures not of the 'normally seen' kind.
"Baelry. We are ancient servants of the Celestial God family, and we were awoken when you arrived here. We've lived in these dark tunnels all of this time and wish to feel the sun against our rocky skin again. Don't feel scared to ask about our races though. It's been eons since we've been around the humans and creatures of earth. At least, it feels like it." She giggled.
"Wow... servants of my family. How about freedom? How much of it do you know?" We got started on the 20-question game, and I got to know the ladies. Their skin was soft, smooth, and they each had human-like features. They were a little smaller, though, and they smelled like the mountains; crisp, fresh air and clean snow.
We chatted for a while until they were done; I looked marvelous. I had this beautiful crown encrusted with every color and every kind of gem stone on the planet. There was a big blue Diamond, similar to the Hope Diamond and the Heart of the Sea.
This crow was not like normal ones, though. It lay on my head, resting on my forehead, but it peaked up at the top to where the blue Diamond was, and it was so beautiful. I do not remember what kind of crown it was. The metals were mixes of silver and gold swirling into each other, rose gold in some spots. It was heavy, but after a few seconds of laying on my head did it lighten up. Magic.
My shoes were so lovely. All of the outfit had the base colors of purple and blue. Royal, to be exact. They put my weapon belt under the top layer of the skirts, where it was well concealed. I only had the two skirts on, so it wasn't very much.
Iris, the one who did my make-up, smiled at me and showed pearly teeth - literal pearls shaped like teeth - and her eyes looked like a white pearl-like opal with blue stones as irises and onyx diamonds for pupils.
It was smooth, like an actual eyeball.
These girls' bodies are amazing! And they're all so pretty with white stone-skin. Their hair was moss, different colors of course, and their lips were pink marble. Their bodies moved gracefully and like skin. It was honestly a mystery.
I had to keep them and the rest safe. I knew this. Their bodies looked not much different from ours, and they were beautiful stone-ladies. Even as a female, I knew their beauty had great magnitude.
Selia was the one who dressed me, Gohria was the one who did my hair, and the other two were Dana and Fieli (fee•lee). Fieli was the tallest of them all but the shyest, and that was adorable. I feel bad for all of these wonderful ladies being asleep all this time. They were amazing. They had talents that humans didn't have. They were untainted by the wrong ways of humanity. I did not want a lovely race being destroyed by idiotic dimwits. No way. I know it may be wrong to say that a little being female, but if you ever saw them, you'd be astounded.

When I was dismissed into the hallway, Jace was already out there. He wore a king's crown encrusted with a bright Ruby and the same gems my crown wore.
"You look... wow..." his eyes just kept looking me up and down at all of the things I wore and how it complimented my dark hair and fair skin. I giggled a little.
"You look handsome, if I do say so myself," I giggled a little harder at that. He wore an outfit similar to mine but he had a large sword on his waist and his weapon belt wasn't hiding. His colors were more masculine, and he didn't have flowers on him.
"Why, thank you!" he said sarcastically, raising his fist to and puffing up his chest. He grinned Flynn-Rider style with raised brows.
I could not stop the fit of laughter from he looked like. It was too much.
"Pffft! You look so funny!" I gasped out, airless. He had joined me, And I was leaning on him. We stopped laughing and fixed ourselves. Not long after, the pull appeared. We went upstairs, where we were needed. And left the auditorium with manner and grace a true royal could carry.
We were going to need etiquette classes later, badly. When we came into view of the outside, every person in town, even the humanoid creatures, animals, and insects were awaiting the new rulers of planet Shada. We were sister planets with Earth in this beautiful galaxy hiding behind several black holes and other galaxies. We knew about Earth a long time ago, which led us to figuring out our planets weren't so different. We just had magic.
And two teens that ruled the entire planet and it's harmony, that have just walked out into a giant crowd of cheering Shadans.
