Chapter 97: Stars of Terra
The three heirs punched, releasing their respective element of the beasts.
"What do you mean?"
"Let's just say I've noticed some of the members of your inferior circles have caused more trouble than it's worth. Time to wipe two of them off the board."
Back at Celestial University, the heir's united front was mostly covering each other outside of Sven about to activate a switch.
"See, one of you couldn't even fight back without relying on these to beat us," Arian teased, when Bella bounced in with a diving kick.
"She's right, you don't need something like that."
"Easy for you to say," being spit. "I'm not strong like you."
"Then we'll hop together until you are!"
Candy noticed the ground about to crack under them, sliding too late as a force dragged Bella down into the dirt.
"No!"
Cree looked back. "They took Lepus girl?"
Both groups stopped to see a figure essentially jumping and shifting positions in midair, striking and targeting the legs and joints of Paleun, Dango, Ruben, Bodin, Mandrew, Minus, and Delphine.
"Ruben!" Kayla opened her Toucan mouth to scream a large screech barely grazing them.
"With that much speed. Sorry everyone," charging and releasing his magic into a large field of ice, freezing the air around everyone involved, including someone who's skin mirrored that of a powerful Void, none of whom looked familiar.
"The spy!"
The moment the Void flew at Cree, Candy used her Castillo Dress to block their movements, but the Void snatched both of their hands, dropping a Starlight portal beneath the three of them.
"Targets acquired."
Delphine was too late to save them as the Void dragged themselves and the siblings into the portal, coming out with a shock to their eyes:
Twelve beasts of varying quality, the Monkey being the largest, and several interconnected stars formed above them.
"Is that a constellation...on the original Terra?"
"Then," turning back to see they were outside of their homeworld. The spy let them go while dropping into another portal, leaving them to drop to whatever demise lay underneath.
Lorena's instincts kicked in, feeling something was wrong while Meng watched over Bethany taking care of Cassie and Pyralis.
"I haven't met the spy, but if none of us knew, Lord Hinata may have been ringleader them from prison, or answers to Proxim. Are there any students that got closer to you this year?"
The first thought bounced in her head. Then, Nico and Claudia. "There have," watching live of Rigal's drone. "But the spy and Proxim's identity is here: then whose is in the suit?"
Meng saw Sehki waiting for Mako to strike.
"Let's hope he'll have enough energy after this to help them find out."
Mako spread wings around his arms, diving off the ship to rise and slash him down, but Sehki called on Neptune's Necrosis, sending out just enough waves to enlarge the bird and cover himself in his aura.
With one arm flex, he exerted enough magic to block Mako hard enough to only glare at him, infusing more shadows while more feathers threatened to break his defense, smiling.
"Scared you're going to lose? Tenshia's in pain! Let's find peace together, not apart."
"My people won't find peace until I sever your head from your body! Jon your parents into the deserted hellhole of your fallen kingdom and all your underlings!"
That caught him off guard long enough to witness him dissolving his blade to spread across his arms and legs. His silhouette replica flew in the rapid direction of his footwork barely helping him continue defending to obstruct the blade piercing punches and kicks.
"Don't call them that! Candy, Lorena, Cree, and Wali too! They all have their own names!" He poured his anger into one punch but Mako launched a barrage of blades around his arms and legs, scattering and surrounding him with rain from above.
He baited me - recalling all the effort that got him here. I'll win because of them!
"Ophiuchus Art: Yamato-No-Orochi! Onyx Soul: Came Merge!"
Forging six additional shadow hands, he used their elongated attributes to accelerate smashing, stretching from, and parrying any Pavo blade that came his way while Mako charged at him.
Refusing to back down, Sehki narrowly weaved and flipped over him, stretching to coat many of the raining swords, hurling them back. His adversary tried regaining and launching one back at him, but he hurled it back with enough momentum to stagger the arrogant swordsman.
"How dare you use my sacred arts against me," going for more wild faster paced slashes, but Sehki harnessed his bonus limbs to consistently box with all eight arms, homaging his girlfriend's new knuckle blades to match him blow for blow.
He regained his smile, twisting and swerving their standing platform to speed up his offense, breaking Mako's magic sword constructs. Kneeing his blade kicks, sidestepping into the space between him, he instilled tiny fierce cuts withering his adversary's pride.
"You will never be a star of Terra!"
"My friends have more passion, steered the peacock to weaken the aim of the sword, calling out Ursa Soul to clutch his extra swords in darkness and smash him off with a shadow claw. Facing a geyser of the peacock, he changed back to Came Soul.
"Their justice and drive knows no bounds," stretching back and thrusting twin powerful palm thrusts decimating the bird. He got grabbed but endured the brutal arm slashes to dive fast enough for a diving kick Mako's blade was forced to block.
"And their efforts won't be mocked by a leader who lies to their own people," bending the shadows of the bird into a one way tunnel, both preparing to finish off the other.
"And you'll fall regretting your leadership will be the cause of their approaching death!"
Seeing Mako's sword swing and light in his clothes, he morphed the knuckle blades into a staff and staves, grinding inside to impale him with both. Mako coughed up blood, completely taken aback.
