Sehki and Lorena kept their guard up around Easel's parents and Taylor, preparing for another portal to grab them just as Proxim's stature hovered high above them.

"What a marvelous show! Now, let me collect the experience," swinging down a rain of metal needles at the couple, family, and heir. Sehki covered them but they rebounded, about to skewer them until a being made of pure water casually flicked them away like a dance.

Queen Austrina's Septans construct followed her pierott, trapping the needles into a vortex surrounding her allies and splashing them into the sky.

Proxim stretched his hand out but one refused to follow their commands, transforming into Wali smacking him away with a lava-enhanced tongue slap.

On the other side, Yessenia and Delphine were protecting a few stragglers when the Gemini Devoid swung at it as it was dissolving. Kalya blasted herself and pushed them out of the way to take the hit, falling into the water, about to swim up.

Wait, like wasn't there another factory or something' for those Switch thingies? Oh, swimming down and coating her head in a sound bubble to head below, but not before blasting up to let Delphine and Nyla know she was okay.

"She's not coming back up," Arian said upon also thinking about the factory. Tenshia, leave them," watching her losing stamina, "let's find the factory before they can!"

Tenshia shook her head. "My power isn't as flashy or strong," using it to make weapons for the populace that hadn't evacuated or she saw fighting, creating halberds, flails, spears, swords, sais, polearms, shurikens, and mallets, handing it to the civilians.

"Titania fought for the survival of Saiban during its inception with just her weapons and earned her power. If you want to survive, fight with me!"

She sucked her teeth. "Ruben, at least this is good evidence for back home, right?" She looked up, and a curious Ruben dropped down, activating a waterproof spell for his phone and divided to her shock and bewilderment.

"Am I the only sane one?"

Ruben used his clones to eventually catch up with Kayla. "Are you insane going at this alone?"

She sniffed. "I'll send a signal if I need help. Besides, you left CC, I don't want to see Lore's home destroyed either." Seeing she was using her StellArt for wildlife underwater, he continued to follow her.

"Worried about me?"

"Tch, as if. You still never answered me."

"Oh, with us? Well, it's cuz of Lorena. I was a bit leo'd when I found out she faked being our friend, but seeing what her, Sehki, Tay, and Rigal went through...the world's bigger than me marrying one of the heirs. Like I could be doing more."

Well she was at the epicenter of two invasions.

"Besides, what do you gain from helping me," leaving him actually confused on why he wanted to, watching his face scramble for an answer with a grin.

"Just to take credit and show Saiban we can fight and stop Proxim before you birdbrains," looking away until she asked him to use his light clones.

When he did, the two's eye lit up on an entire sea floor of crabs, baby and nurturing whales, doves, swan, dolphins, porpoise, swordfish, sea snakes, fishes, and other creatures with the Void essence illuminating.

She aimed her beak hands to launch a circular sound wave shooting through some to reveal what looked like a small underwater facility: there was a fish in a large tube with a nest Void essence permeating throughout the nearby sea and underwater plant life.

"Look closer," squinting and swimming deeper to see some animals had seals of said StellArts plastered on them while switches were being printed out at a machine connected to the tube.

"It's probably analyzing and making switches based on the StellArts the fish was implanted with."

"Isn't like a buncha StellArts on one person too much?"

"Must've been experimented on so it could distribute enough. Guess they took advantage of the filtration system's blind systems always fleeing to Favala with the lacking range."

"And Lorena and Easel had to live eating some of these? Blegh!"

"Hence why I left."

Upwards, Proxim laughed, and pressed buttons. Eventually the monitors had live footage of Kayla and Ruben, to the shock of the Rising Twelve members watching and the students there.

"There's too many unnecessary cast members. So, let's cut down the roster," crossing and clutching their hands with the logo of Volans glowing.

Sehki and Lorena watched the video getting brighter and the former gasped in horror: several human sized angler fish with lanterns over their head surrounded Kayla and Ruben.

With giant jaws that wouldn't be out of place in a certain horror movie he and Val watched in middle school, his response was even more frightful than her friends and the CC residents more familiar to the environment.

"Kayla, get out of there!"

The brunette gulped, but recalled everything they had fought for and threw her arms out to blow the fish away with her Toucannons, placing them together and firing at the facility.

"Ruben, cover for me!"

"You can't fight these things alone!"

"Just until I destroy this place! We can't just let chrome-head poison our home!"

He sucked his teeth, telling her to hurry as he summoned his clones to bombard and punch the sealife Proxim suddenly targeted, using his Goat Evolution to stab them with his sharp fur scales while she blasted through possessed creatures, slowly cracking the glass.

She had to take breaks using one arm to blast beasts trying to devour her soul, sweating from the danger, but continuing to persist despite the threats to her life, catching the jaws of an angler trying to bite her and using her beak arms to break them first.

"Get away," gripping it and swinging it away into monsters heading for Ruben, "from us!"

"Kayla, move!"

A seahorse's tail blade was about to slash her down in seconds.
