Rocky winked at her before diverting his attention to setting up again. "당신도 그들을 알아요, 마조리야?" (You know them too, Marjorie ah ?). Her mother asked seeing her daughter' expression.

"Uh...." Marjorie blanked. How was she supposed to explain she knows all these men she had never mentioned before ? JinJin luckily stepped in to ease her nerves in some way. "Rocky & I are other friends of MJ. You've met MJ, right ?" Marjorie was grateful he stepped in, but also insanely nervous. Her mother smiled. "I had no idea you had such a variety of friends, Marjorie. Why don't you bring them over more ?"

Kyumin & Minjung had called for their mother. This gave Marjorie some time to breathe. "When did you & Rocky come ? Did the others know ?" JinJin smiled knowing she was probably overwhelmed & absolutely overjoyed. "그들은 전혀 몰랐습니다. 전혀 모르겠어요." (They had no idea. Not a clue at all.) 

Before long JinJin & Rocky were entertaining the party & Marjorie went to get a drink from the kitchen. This is when she heard a conversation she had no idea how to deal with. Her step father seemed concerned, "You seem to be on edge, honey. Is it because Marjorie had come ?" Her mother poured herself a glass of white wine. Seemingly annoyed. "I am on edge. I don't care that Marjorie has come. I know she cares on some level about Kyumin & Minjung."

Her step-father sighed as he took a seat. "Then what is bothering you ?" Her mother was absolutely in a mood. "Your first wife has been contacting you, right ?" Was her mother' marriage with her step-father on the fence ? "We'll talk about this later. It should be something we talk about with the twins, Darling."

That was the end of it. Marjorie finally entered the kitchen when it was pretty much empty. She opened a canned soda when JinJin joined her. "I hope our presence isn't causing you any problems, Marjorie. That isn't our intention."

Marjorie smiled slightly. "여러분 모두 좋은 의도를 가지고 있다는 것을 압니다. 당신이 날 돕고 싶어해서 절대 화낼 수 없어요." (I know you all have good intentions. I can never be angry you wanted to help me.) JinJin could tell she was extremely confused about whatever she was dealing with. "Want some advice from me ?" Marjorie sipped her soda. Did she want advice ? It isn't like they had bad intentions for coming into her life. "Sure. Whatever you think I need to hear right now."

JinJin sighed. He could easily tell she was overthinking & making scenarios in her head. "너무 많이 생각하지 마세요. 당신은 곧 대화에 끼게 될 겁니다. 알겠어요?" (Don't overthink things. You'll be included in the conversation soon enough. Okay ?) I nodded before giving him a smile, "Thank you, JinJin. This meant a lot to me."
