Desk Notes: Story based off of real like events just with romance and events that actually didnt happen lol
Type: No smut,, this is pretty boring

You walked into your classroom and sighed a bit, it was the morning and you were tired as HECC. You took your normal seat as you did everyday and waited for your friend that sat in front of you. When he had came you guys talked about some stupid stuff, like Steve Harvey from that show Family Feud saying "nani", or why a friend did something that was.. Weird as usual.

"Alright class, Today we will learn about Muscles." The teacher says, honestly you felt as if it was his FAVORITE thing in the world, he was a PRETTY BUFF teacher. You sighed and looked down at you notes paper and then to the side on your desk.

'Hello!' was written on it. You tapped your friend and pointed to it. He shrugged and then you shrugged as you began to write on the desk.

'Hiya! uwu' You wrote on the desk with a small chuckle before continuing to listen but then not listen to the teacher.

The next day you looked at where the hello was written and saw that whoever wrote it erased your uwu, but underneath a question.

'Be my friend?'

You smiled a bit before you nodded. You then stopped and realized that whoever this was is probably no where near you. So you wrote.

'Of course!'

You didnt know why talking to this complete stranger not even face to face felt exciting. Like something that would happen in a story.

The next day you looked at the desk immediately.

'Okay! My names is Moonbin.'

Your eyes widened. Of course you knew Moonbin, he was pretty popular. You never talked to him though. You didn't know how to response as you sat there thinking. Your a total loser, how do you become friends with someone as popular as him? He'd probably be disappointed as heck if he met you. When it neared the end of class you had decided.

'Mines is a secret :P'

You nodded and smiled before you got your things and then went to the next class with your friends.

Today you were exceptionally tired. You sat down at your seat and read the desk. Everything from before had been erased and now said.

'No fair :( I said mines'

You giggled a bit imaging a small pout on his face as he wrote it. You laid your head down as you began to write on the desk.

'Well I know you already :>'

You wrote with a small smile trying to imagine what he would say. But your thoughts got taken over by the teacher yelling at everyone to put their heads up.

The next day you looked at the desk.

'Ah really? A friend already of mines?'

You wishes he was an actual friend of yours. You then grabbed the pencil and began to write with a small sigh.

'No, you are popular, who wouldn't know you. Which is why I don't think we could possibly be real friends..'

After that there were no more writings on the desk. You kinda felt sad now. Maybe if he hadn't said who he was you two could actually still be not following the teachers rules and writing on the desk that only get cleaned every once in a while.

One day the kids in the class couldn't handle where they sat so, the teacher made the decision to move seats. You were sat only a few seats away from your original seat. You sighed knowing you'd miss that seat but it didn't matter now that it wasn't special anymore.

You walked into your class and immediately you saw Moonbin standing at your now old seat. One of his friends now sat there.

"You lied." Moonbin says. His friend looked confused. You gulped as you walked to your seat and just listened.

"You said you weren't a friend of mines." He says. His friend laughed a bit confused as they nudged him. Moonbin still stood there confused and maybe a bit upset.

"I have never said you weren't a friend of mines dude." They say. Moonbin sighed and looked around the class and immediately he makes eye contact with you. You gulped, you hated how you were always one of the very first people in the class. He then sighed before looking away from you and saying bye to his friend before leaving.

'What have I gotten myself into...'

You think as you put your head down. You didn't understand why he was searching for you.. He has no reason to, did he really think of you as a friend just from the writing on the desk. Its not like it matters anymore, he wouldn't find out, cause no one really knows you just your small group of friends. You pushed your thoughts of that away as you paid attention in class, you'd rather think of muscles or whatever rather than some guy you don't talk to.

One day when you were in class there was a knock at the door. The teacher went over and opened it. In came a group of people. You didn't care much as you doodled on the notes paper.

"(Y/F/L/N)." You looked over and saw Moonbin holding a paper and reading names, well your name. He looked around and everyone looked at you. He raised an eyebrow.

"(Y/F/L/N)?" He says looking at you. You gulped and nod as he gestures for you to come over. You get up and began to walk over.

"And your things.." Moonbin adds as soon as you were in front of everyone. You felt a bit embarrassed as you went back and packed your things. Then stood there as they called other people up. Seems as everyone knew someone that the group was calling, except you. When all of the students that needed to be called were up the group left and went to the lunchroom. When everyone went in, everyone seemed to have a sense of what was going on as you sat alone and confused. Suddenly Moonbin came over to you, he must've caught your lost look.

"Do you know why you're here?" He asks as he sat across from you. You shook your head nervously. He then smiled a bit before he began to explain to you why you were here. Apparently the school had decided to have a trip to a university, they sent in the mail to people who were doing exceptionally in just this grade. Your parents should've signed it and turned it in. You didn't know when they did that but they must've forgotten to tell you.

'This is why they should call me down when they get mail from the school.'

You think as you sighed. Moonbin then chuckled a bit, probably laughing at how you seemed to be the only clueless one there. Suddenly a girl came over.

"This is a sign-in sheet, write your first and last names please." She says before he put it down. Moonbin then nodded and gave it to you first. You wrote your name down and then gave it to him. He began to write his name and when he finished he observed the list, but he seemed to be staring at one thing particular, you raised an eyebrow before he looked at you. He then gave a small smile before giving the sheet back to the girl.

"What was it?" You asked out of curiosity which seemed to surprise him. He then smiled widely and chuckled.

"She talks!" He says jokingly. You then looked away a bit before he just smiled at you.

"I didn't expect a few people to make that list is all." He says. You then nod before it became silent but he still stayed with you there. You knew you couldn't just avoid him here so you just went on your phone trying to ignore the burning stare he was giving you.

He seemee to walk with you more than his friends as the two of you explored the university together. He talked most of the time and you listened talking here and there. He told many jokes and did many weird things making you laugh a lot and when you laughed he seemed to smile brightly. You would take his picture when he posed like one of the school statues or he thought it was a nice place to take pictures, which lead to you two taking pictures together or him taking pictures of you. Either way you had fun. More fun than you'd expect coming on this trip you didnt know you were going on. Now the two of you walked and talked to the lunchrooms of the university where everyone was supposed to meet up now.

"This one is my favorite." Moonbin said as he showed you a picture. You had your hand over your mouth as you laughed and he was on the ground laughing as you took that picture.

"Its ugly." You say as you covered your face. He then rolled his eyes and nudged you.

"Dont lie, I'm making it your contact picture." He says as he went to his contacts and then a new one handing you his phone. You held it as you blinked and then looked at him as he raised an eyebrow. You then sighed softly before putting it in. He smiled widely as he texted you immediately to make sure you saved his number. After that you became a bit silent as he talked and still made you laugh lightly and smile.

After the trip he waved to you as he got on the bus home. You waved a bit and then began to walk your way home. When you were comfortable and all washed up at your house. Your phone vibrated.

Bin

Bin: So friends right?

Y/n: Uhm.. Really?

Bin: Of course!

Y/n: I guess..

Bin: :)

Bin: Im glad then. Lets be friends. Good friends.

Y/n: Uhm, okay. Good friends :)

Bin: Oh my god you just sent me a smiley face

Y/n: Fine I wont send you anything like that

Bin: NO I FEEL HONORED

You laughed a bit before the two of you continued to talk through the night. Till you fell asleep. You knew this would all probably go down hill if you continued to talk to him, what would you do?

The next day you were really tired. Your mom had awoken you with a few slaps to the arm since you didn't respond to your alarms, but she did. So you were cranky now that your cranky mom woke you up like that. When you got to school you went to your desk and crossed your arms on the desk and put your head down closing your eyes to sleep.

"Hey (Y/n)." You heard, it was Moonbin. You decided to just keep your head down as you really didnt want to talk to him now. He softly called for you a few more times before he sighed and went silent for a couple seconds then left as the bell rang. You had actually fallen asleep listening to his soft and soothing voice so the bell woke you up immediately. You fixed yourself a bit and looked around at everyone before you rested your head on your hand. The teacher then passed out papers. As you wrote your name on one something on the desk caught your eyes and made them widen.

You blushed a bit and smiled as you suddenly were in a good mood.

At lunch you sat with your usual friends happily. Then Moonbin came over and sat next to you. It was a full table so he was pretty close as your bodies pressed against each other.

"Thank you." You say softly to him. He looks at you and you realize how close you guys really are when you can feel his soft breaths on your face.

"For?" He says with a smile.

"For the desk note.. It put me in a good mood. I woke up cranky today. I guess I did go to sleep a bit late.. But it isn't your fault. It was nice talking to you and I didnt want to stop." You say. He smiled softly as he nodded happily.

"That reminds me.." He says. You raise an eyebrow as he seemed to look down.

"We are friends now right?" He says. You then nodded a bit confused.

"I didnt think we could possibly be friends." He says sarcastically. You raised an eyebrow confused. He then reached his hand up and ruffled your hair.

"Just because Im popular doesnt mean I cant be friends with you. Or anyone." He says softly. Your eyes then widened as you looked away with a blush.

"That.. How did you know it was me.." You say. He then smiled a bit and nudged you.

"I recognized your handwriting." He says happily. You then chuckled a bit. So thats why he was staring at the sign in sheet.

"Well, Im glad we are friends then.. Im sorry for what I said.. Things like this are just rare to be honest.. I never talked to you before that and you didn't even know I existed so I guess I didnt want to get my hopes up." You say. He then nodded a bit as he laid his head down on the table and looked at you.

"Well you should never be afraid to have hope. Anything can happen if you believe it can." He says softly. You looked at him and blushed as you nodded.

You and Moonbin got close as he would write on your desk in the morning and tell you to cover your eyes and not read it until he left. They were sweet messages that made you smile. You wished you could leave notes for him, but you didnt want to write on someone elses desk so you just read his and responded at lunch.

Today was Wednesday. Moonbin didnt come to your class in the morning. Nor did he sit at your table. He sat with his friends paying no mind to you. You kinda got sad as that continued until the weekend. You didn't bother to text him which didnt matter since he didnt text you at all. Did you do something wrong? You didnt know. You didnt care. You didnt want to care.

"It was stupid getting my hopes up." You say as you tossed your phone to your bed and sighed. All weekend you stayed in your room not craving any interactions with people.

Then Monday came. This time you saw Moonbin run out of your classroom before you got there. You blinked before you went into the classroom and sat down. You put your things on your desk as class started. You still felt a bit sad but you shouldn't be.

At the end of class as you were organizing your things you saw small writing on the desk. You blinked a bit as your heart started to beat faster. You moved your paper and read it.

'Im sorry. Date?'

You blinked as you gulped. You weren't sure. Then as you were walking to the lunchroom you saw Moonbin standing in the hallway. He turned and looked at you. He waved as he went over to you.

"Hey." He says. You then gulped as you bite your bottom lip slightly.

"So. Did you read it?" He says. You then nodded as you let go of your lip.

"Why are you sorry?" You asked. He then sighed softly as he scratched the back of his neck sheepishly.

"I avoided you, because I was nervous about this.. I wasn't trying to avoid you, but I guess I was thinking about how I would.. or how would you react that I didn't know what to do about being around you and think about it so.. I guess I drifted.. I couldn't even send any messages.. I just typed and didnt send it." He says as he gulped and looked away. You blushed as you bite your lip. You didnt know what to say. Maybe you should forgive him. If you did then what about the date part?

"I know you're probably conflicted.. But I understand.." He says. You then nodded slightly.

"I never had hope we would be friends.." You say. He looks at you and raises an eyebrow.

"But we are.. And maybe as our friendship grew.. I had hope that maybe we could be more.." You say as you blushed. He blinks a bit and he was going to smile until you sighed and looked down.

"But then this happened and my hope went away.." You say as his smile slowly went down. You then looked at him.

"I might be being over dramatic, but I dont think I can fully trust you." You say. He then blinked as he frowned looking down feeling down, he didnt expect this.

"Pulls your heart strings doesnt it." You say looking at him now. He then looked at you. You crossed your arms and looked away.

"When you mess with someones feelings its hard to really understand their feelings if you never experienced it.." You say. He frowned still. Yes it hurt very badly. And it hurt you to hurt him. But, it wasnt your fault right? He did it first! You then looked at him. You stepped closer and now the two of you made eye contact.

"This is why I don't associate with popular people.." You say as you sigh and then hugged him.

"They're all pretty and hard to resist.. But so dumb." You say. He blinks before be hugged back slowly digging his head into your shoulder. Probably back paining since he was taller .-.

"Im sorry." You say softly. You were too much of a softy to continue seeing him frown. But hes been watching you frown since last week right?!

"No, Im sorry.. Really." He says. You then pull away and smile softly at him as you reach up and pat his head.

"Its okay Binnie." You say making him chuckle and sniff. You then blinked.

"Were you going to cry?!" You say. He then crossed his arms and looked away with a pout.

"No!" You then observed him and then began to laugh lightly. He rolled his eyes playfully before he smiled and grabbed your hand.

"So.." He says as you calmed down. You smiled at him. You knew exactly what he wanted to hear and what he would say. It was obvious.

"Yes." You say as you squeezed his hands lightly. He then smiled happily and the two of you walked to the cafeteria together. The both of you had a complicated relationship, but it worked out in the end when you and him ended up staying together to the end of Highschool. Then college came and you two parted ways for different colleges.

You worked in an office building now. It was boring going to meetings and such as an assistant since this is where you were starting out. Today you were to show a new worker around. As you walked to the first floor you were greeted by literally everyone. You were pretty popular now in the office. Maybe because you learned in business you cant always hide forever, and you enjoyed stepping out of the comfort zone now that you had many people to be friends with and test your new skills. You then approached the group of new employees.

"Welcome to the world of business." You say as you looked at them with a smile. They bowed and you quickly turned as you gestured for them to follow.

"Im the assistant to Mr. Jie. He may seem mean but hes a big softie. Dont tell him I told you that." You say making a few chuckle as you got into an elevator with them. They seemed surprised the elevator was so spacious as they were against the perimeter of it and you in the middle feeling many eyes on you. Maybe it was because you decided to wear your new office clothes, it was of course the usual pencil skirt except yours was white and had small jewels on the waistband. Then silky blue top that was tucked in neatly but made to leave a slight baggy look not wanting to show off too much. Then the sleeves were hanging down unbuttoned as your elbows slightly showed when holding your clipboard. Then with that you wore white flats. High heels weren't your thing after you sprained your ankle and everyone in the office saw how bad you were, even the CEO said he cant have you falling down the stairs. So you looked more natural with your height. Your hair was something you just brushed out and left down, putting it up when you felt like it. You didn't wear makeup, just a red tinted chap-stick that smelled like cherries. It was your favorite.

(Okay I dunno about you guys but I love describing whats in my head so Im so sorry for that whole description lol)

The elevator stopped and you walked out with them following you and looking around. It was the office area.

"This is the first office area. Where most of you guys will be. You guys get the gist of it right?" You say as you shrugged a bit.

"Ah, (Y/n) unenthusiastic as always about an office you didnt have to work at." You turned and saw one of your friends and then turned to the group.

"After I finish showing you around for today, this guy aka Myungjun or Mr. Kim will be there for you guys as you prevail in this boring office." You say as you smiled and he nudged you and then looked at the group clasping his hands together.

"I make the office fun dont worry." He says with a bright smile as some girls whispered amongst each other with giggles. Then you introduced them to more people before showing them the more upper floors and such until it was the top floor, where the closest assistants worked including you and the CEOs office where you couldn't go into since he requested to be alone. Now they were all in our office.

"Well I guess this is the end of our tour. I bet you guys will like it! I'm entertaining right? Not really." You say with a small laugh.

"Well now you all can find your ways back down, dont be naughty or you know. Security wont hesitate to take you down." You say as you laugh by yourself with a few awkward chuckles. They all then bowed to you and left. You then breathed out before you stepped out of your flats and went to your office desk. You grabbed a file that you needed to finish and began to work.

When you finished you cleaned up fixing your papers. Then you noticed something on your desk.

'You look pretty :) How about outside?'

You blinked as your eyes couldn't help but widen. You then looked at the time, an hour and 30 minutes ago was when the new employees left. You fidgeted a bit before you sighed and stood up deciding to go cause, what the heck right?! He probably knew you were busy!

You stopped in front if your flats.

"Is it really him?" You say to yourself. You then sighed thinking your dumb. Of course! Anyone else would go up and say something. It was always yours and Moonbin special thing to write on desks.

You then put your jacket on and hurriedly went down making sure to tell them you were done for the day.

You walked outside. The sun was setting. You looked around and saw a man sitting on the stairs. You had your doubts as the man had a few bags. His hair was black. The Moonbin you remembered said he never wanted to dye his hair and keep his sort of light brown hair.

"Moonbin." You say. The man then turned. It was him. His face turned into a smile as he stood up. The only thing that changed was his hair. He still had a big kid smile that you found adorable, especially when his eyes disappeared with it.

(Lets take a moment)

You then smiled as you went down the stairs and when you were down he hugged you tightly. You hugged back happily. The two of you stood there in a tight hug not wanting to let go. Your break up was never bad. It was sweet and soft. Kinda like this hug. Not wanting to let go. Filled with sadness but mostly happiness. Then some sweet words that repeat now.

"I told you.. We'll be together in the future." He says softly. You smiled more into his chest before you both pulled away.

"Ah, I bought food. I thought you probably wouldnt see it at first. So I went across the street to get food after an hour." He says with a chuckle. You sheepishly smiled and nodded as he picked up the bags.

"Well lets go." He says holding his arm out. You grabbed onto it and then the two of you began to walk to his car.

"Would this be considered our first date?" He asks and you think with a light humming sound before shaking your head. He raised an eyebrow.

"On our first date. I'll pay for it." You say. He then rolled his eyes as he began to drive to his apartment and thats where the two of you stayed together the whole night eating the chicken and such that he got and watching movies holding hands.

"I guess I could consider this our first date." You say softly. He then smiled and nodded happily.

"I know Im not going anywhere, but a goodnight kiss is very much wanted." You say as you looked at him from where you head rested on his shoulder and puckered your lips out with your eyes closed. He then scoffed playfully and began to laugh as he poked your side making you jolt.

"Wow! You've gotten so confident!" He says as he began to tickle you. You began to laugh as you thrashed around on the ground. When he stopped you panted and then he gave you a soft kiss on the lips that you had to pull away from to catch your breath and he laughed at you. Then the rest of the night was will with soft kisses and cuddles.
