✮ Toby x Robot Reader // Homosapiens...
"School?? With humans??" You screeched. "I refuse!" You crossed your arms and puffed up your chest.
"Darling, we don't ask much of you. So please-" You Mother began talking but you cut her off.
"What's the point in me going?? I can just download the information! I'd beat the smartest kid in an subject in only an hour!" You yelled.
You parents sighed and looked at each other, your father comforting your mother by rubbing her arm. "Children cannot 'download' anything." Your father looked down at you in shame. Darn, you blew it again. You are supposed to be their real child. A replacement of a girl who died at birth.
"All we ask is that you go to school and make a friend of two. You need to be social. Like what a real girl would do." Your mother frowned at you. You grumbled something under you breath, all you ever wanted to do was be a real girl, with a heart. But you found that hard since, whatever you heard about humans was bad. Your father would come home from work angry that his human boss would give him extra work with no pay rise. Your mother would always be on the phone talking about how horrible the people who worked with her were. To be honest, your parents didn't try to change your thoughts on the world. But now they wanted you to grow, be the child they could never have. Sometime it was a bit much, but if all they wanted was for you to go to school, then you'd do it. To be the child they needed.
"Okay. I'll do it." You nodded slowly.
"Oh that is fantastic news! Your first day will start next week! I've already got all your books and bags in your room. Go on and look at!" You Mother beamed. She already had everything for you?? You could tell she was going to guilt trip you with the 'but we've already brought everything' trick if you didn't accept.
"Is there a uniform?" You asked.
"No, but if you want me to-"
"No! Mum.. that's okay.." you smiled nervously. Your mother sighed.
"Well you do have to wear a sport uniform. So go and try it on. Tell me if it fits you." She ushered you away.
"Okay okay." You nodded, walking upstairs to your bedroom. Once you walked in you sighed. Why did you say yes? You will be going to a school with humans and you had to make friends with some of them. You looked around and on the floor in a corner of your room was everything you needed to be a happy, little school girl. On top of your books and bags, was what seemed to be a white shirt with blue lines on the sleeves and the school logo on the chest. The bottom made you cringe though. The bottom part was like navy blue underwear with the material of a bathing suit. You grumbled something under your breath and pulled off your remaining clothes to try on the sports uniform.
Of course you weren't naked. You were built in with clothes stuck to your body. Those were just a black crop top with no sleeves and bike shorts. They stuck to you like skin. You put on the shirt and decided to leave the underwear off, your bike shorts were good enough.
"It fits. That's for sure." You shrugged taking it of and putting it back. You sighed. You defiantly didn't want to go to school.
~~~~~~
A week passed like sonic the hedgehog trying to beat his high score on the green hill zone, and to be honest, you were freaking out. You hated humans, but you needed to become friends with one to make your parents happy! But that was what you were trying to get yourself to think. Earlier that week, you had tried to find out any motivation to go to school, but that just made you not want to go even more.
Motivation For Students Going To School.
Everyone had a tough time finding out the reason to get out of bed and go to school, but with some of these dot points, you might just find out why you went in the first place!
~ Meeting new people and making friends!
You grumbled at that one, that was the only reason you didn't want to go.
~ every journey starts a new romance!
"Romance? I think I'm fine with just making friends for now.."
You read on and on, nothing really seems to come to your attention until the last one.
~ Getting active with sport! It even can sometimes boost up your popularity!
"Sport? If I can do well at sport, then I can gain friends.." You smiled a little.
You sighed. Maybe there was a robot that looked like a human that went to the school. Maybe you could convince Mum and Dad that they were a human? There was only a 10 percent chance that would work..
"(Y/N)! Get up for school!" Your mother called. Little did she know you had been up for hours staring staring at yourself in your mirror, just looking at yourself wearing of Sailor Scout dress that kinda looked like the inform. If everyone else wore the uniform, then you would still fit in, but if they didn't they you would still fit in anyway.
"Coming mum.." You sighed. This was your life now. A horrible horrible life, with no freedom.
~~~~~~~~~~
"See you later honey!" You mother waved to you and smiled.
"Yup.. see you later.." You lazily waved and began walking inside school with your light bag. You looked around and brought a piece of paper out of your pocket, locker 69. Oh geez, with a locker number like that, you knew everything was going to suck.
You got to your locker and placed your bag in it. It was graffitied a bunch, but it wasn't anything you couldn't handle. You checked the timetable on your phone, everyone had homeroom first. Then sport. You were kinda excited, sport already? You could make a really good impact from the start of your first day.
~~~~~~~
"Now class, I'm sure you've all noticed a new student in our classroom. Her name is (Y/N)." The teacher signalled for you to stand up and so you did. "She's a robot." The teacher smiled, but you cringed, why did she have to say that? Some other kids started whispering as you guessed they would. So you sat back down.
"Would anyone like to read the prayer today?" The teacher asked, no one put their hand up. "No? Well then I'll choose on someone." She looked around and you both made eye contact. "(Y/N)!" She beamed.
'Nooooo' You internally screamed. "Oh, me? Alright.." You walked to the front of the class with a bit of attitude. The teacher handed you her computer with the words of the poem written on it. She pointed to were you start and you began to read. "He took me to the beach." Was the tittle, so you knew it was going to be sappy "He took me to the beach.
The sand slid between my toes.
The sun tickled my face with its warmth.
He held my hand and looked at the ocean with me.
He was just a friend for now but It could bloom into something beautiful.
My heart pounded like when a sea flower is moved with the oceans rhythm
He pulled me into the sea my feet which where steaming hot began to cool down rapidly from the ice cold water of the salty ocean.
He smiled, his smile warmed the deepest part of my heart that no hot chocolate or heated blanket could warmth.
He took me to the beach, and now, I never want to go with anyone else." You looked around at all the students. Most of them didn't care, they just looked tired and sleepy.
"Very good (Y/N)! You can sit back down now."
~~~~~~~
Yes! Sport, finally! As the bell rung, you picked up your sports bag and followed the class to the indoor sport area, and once you did, the two genders spilt up into the different change rooms. You, of course, followed the girls. All of them were getting changed into the sport uniform, and they seemed to be checking themselves out in the mirror for some time before getting back out. You didn't care enough to look at yourself, so you just got out of there as soon as you could. Once you did, you walked into the gymnasium and waiting for the teacher to come and teach. No one else seemed to be changed yet, so you just waited. That's when you felt a tap in your shoulder. You turned to see a small boy with brown hair in a strange hair style.
"Hi. I'm Toby." He smiled and greeted you. "It's nice to have a new student in our classroom." He placed his hand out for you to shake. Then the teacher called for you. Toby dropped his hand and ran over to were the teacher stood.
"Alright class. We are going to be playing tchoukball today." The man placed the ball down to his feet. "Same teams as last week."
You heard some people groan, all those people were in the same team. Toby was actually one of them. You kinda just stood there, not knowing were to go.
"Hey, you're that new girl aren't you?" The teacher said with his gruff voice.
"Teach! How about she come and join our team?" Toby asked. He half hopped that you could play sport really well because they needed someone who could do that.
"Alright. Seems fair." The coach nodded and you stepped over to were Toby was.
"Here." Toby handed you a green sash and you tied it around your waist. "You're on the green team. Pass to anyone who has this sash." He explained.
"But still don't know how to-" you sighed and shook your head. You then used your mind as a search system to look up the rules of 'tchoukball'
The team that has possession of the ball has a three-pass limit before being forced to shoot the ball at the rebound surface on either end of the court. Members of the other team must place themselves according to where they expect the ball to land, so that they can catch it before it touches the floor.
You all began to play, and I mean play you aggressively threw the ball, and nobody wanted to get in the way of that astroid of a ball. Once the bell had gone for recess. The points had come to '20 to 5' You were surely proud of yourself. Buuut the some of opposite team members had other things to say.

"Who The fuck do you think you are??" Chase shoved you against the brick wall of the back of a classroom. "You made us look like shit players! It's your first day and you already decide to fuck someone over. Huh??" He pinned you to the wall sharply and you just let it happen. The moment you would fight back, you knew that you would be dead meat to your parents and the whole school.
"I was just trying to play competitively." You growled. "What? Can't you handle a little girl robot?" You grinned, trying to stir him up.
"Bitch!" Chase yelled, throwing a punch at your face. You got knocked back and you head hit the wall.
"Chase! You throw one more punch at her and it shows, your parents aren't going to be happy."
"Toby??" Chase stepped back, he wasn't scared of Toby, he was just scared if anything happened and his parents found out.
"You parents might just replace you with a cardboard copy!" Toby hissed. "Now back off the new girl."
The rude boy turned around away from Toby. He smiled at you, but very nervously.
"Shit.." mumbled Chase. He was getting embarrassed in front of his friends. He then growled and swung around with his fist up, ready to punch the living daylights out of Toby. You gasped and placed your hand into a fist too, punching his inclosed hand. A metal 'clank' noise erupted from your hand as you connected it with Chase's. His hand cracked and flopped out of its fist form.
"FUCK!" Chase screamed. His two friends surrounded him. "She broke my fucking hand!" He cried. You also had broken something, but you wouldn't let it show. You held you arm and leaned back against the wall.
"Come on man you need to get the nurses office." One of Chase's friends started to drag him away.
"Ouch.." You looked down at your lower arm. There was defiantly something wrong there. Maybe a dysfunction from the shock of colliding metal with bone so forcefully.
"Hey are you alright?" Toby asked as you leaned against the wall putting pressure onto your arm.
"Beat it Toby." You mumbled. "Or I'll break your hand too."
Toby was taken back by your harsh words. "W-What?"
"I said beat it! I don't want your human pity." You grumbled.
"B-But I can fix your arm, my dad is in the Ministry of science and I do know a lot about robotics!"
"I don't care. I'll fix myself! Aren't you afraid of me little boy?? I just broke that guys hand and you still don't want to get away from me??"
Toby shook his head and his expression turned into a more annoyed one. He brought his hand up and pinned you to the wall by putting one hand beside your head. "I am not afraid of you!" He shut his eyes. "And I am certainly not afraid to be your friend!"
Your eyes widened, you then felt your cheeks grow hot. You looked away and the down to your arm. "You can try..." You mumbled, looking away, still holding your arm. Toby opened his eyes and looked up at you in utter surprise.
"P-Pardon?"
"I said you can try..!" You shoves your broken arm in his face. "Just don't mess anything up!"
~~~~~~~~~
Toby has finished his work, and he was pretty proud in fact! Your arm worked as good as new!
"I think it's done.." He smiled. You opened your eyes and glanced at Toby, then to your arm. It looked amazing! Toby was really a cool kid.
"It's.. you did a pretty good job Toby.." you twisted and turned your arm.
"Thanks." He smiled and rubbed the back of his head. "You have pretty interesting wiring.. It was sort of fun to fix you up. So if this ever happens again. I could always help you out with it.."
"Eh?? Well.." You blushed a little, Toby though you were interesting? "I'd like that.." You looked him in the eyes. "A-Ah! But you wouldn't need to do it if you hadn't got into my fight!" You stood up and placed your hands on your hips.
"Hehe.. sorry." Toby stood up too. "Thanks for saving me back there too.. what you did was pretty cool.."
Toby thought that what you did was cool?? Well you know what that means, more blushing. "Cool? Well it hurt..!"
"Lucky I was there then." Toby smiled. "I guess we both needed each other."
You nodded hesitantly. "So.. does this mean we are friends?" You asked. A little nervous.
"Uhm.." Toby thought for a moment. "Yes. Yes is does." He smiled.
Sorry this was a really crappy one guys!
