Astro had a crush. On two people actually. As Toby, his secret identity, he loved a young women named (Y/N), but as Spider Boy, he loved Black Cat. He much more enjoyed being near (Y/N) though, she was kind, playful and all and all just a pretty chill person. Black Cat didn't really have a personality, she may have been beautiful and very talented, but she was never showed her true self, yet, Astro was drawn to her.

Astro was terrible keeping his love for you on the down low. When he was up and out as Spider Boy and there was no crime, he'd often find himself following you, seeing how you were and making sure no harm came to you. He'd also change out of his costume in alley ways and 'accidentally' bump into you in the street. He did things like this to get closer to you, get to know you better and mostly, just look at you. Black Cat on the other hand, was admirable. What she did made Astro feel terrible at his job. He couldn't help but feel like that her spins and flips and all the amazing things she could do, made her better than he could ever be.

You brushed down your silver hair and looked closer to the mirror, placing on your black mask. "I really need to dye my hair again.." You sighed, looking at the roots of your hair that showed your natural (H/C) hair. "Oh well. The show must go on." You sighed, pulling up your skin tight black suit.

You had a bit of trouble zipping up the front that was supposed to go up over your chest. "Oh God.." you mumbled laughing nervously. You squished the fabric together and managed to zip it up over your chest. You sighed, maybe it was time to get another suit. You huffed and stood up, shaking your head. "Time to get my months rent!" You grinned, opening the window and grabbed onto the outside wall of your apartment with your sharp fake claws, you climbed up the side of your building until you reached the top. You breathed in the fresh air of the gritty city. You took one more glance at the glimmering lights of the buildings and then jumped off the building. You opened your arms and pulled out your grappling hook, shooting it to a nearby tower, you swung around for a small bit before reaching your destination. The bank was in sight so you slowed down. Once you had come to a stop, you unhooked your grappling hook and let yourself fall to the ground, making sure to do a roll so the impact wouldn't ruin your knees. You stood up and brushed yourself off. "Not bad for a cat." You smiled happily at your own cool superhero landing.

"Planning on stealing from the bank?" You heard a voice from behind you. Of course it was him, he was always onto you, always one step ahead.

"I'm a damn good thief." You smiled, turning around the slightest to glance at your enemy. You continued on walking close to the entrance of the bank.

"You wont get away with this." He stepped forward as you did.

"What was your superhero name again? You've got so many." You sighed, turning around, there was no point robbing the bank now, he would stop you without a second thought.

"Spider Boy." He crossed his arms.

"That's right! The robot who was genetically mutated with a spider that gave his systems.. unnatural enhancements." You grinned, leaning on the pedestal of the white coloured bank. "But if we are truly going to get to know each other, I want to know the superhero before Spider Boy."

"There's no time for heroic backstories." He shook his head.

"Oh come on! If we are going to make this relationship work, you need tell me who you were!" You leaned on your side. "Oh wait, I remember! It's a little fuzzy, but weren't you called 'Astro Boy'?"

"And you're Black Cat. The crazed villain who steals whatever she wants without a second thought. No one knows who you are, or who you work for. All they know is that you're dangerous." Astro stepped forward once again, his mask hiding his small blush.

"Work for? my love, I work for the most sneaky girl in the world, and that's me!" You lifted your arms up. "As for who I am. You'll need to find that out yourself!" You winked and bowed. "I'll see you later, Astro boy." You turned around, running into a near by alleyway.

"H-Hey! Get back here!" Astro called out. You could tell by his voice crack that he was for sure flustered.

Things like that always happened, you'd push his buttons, make him go red, and almost always getting away with your shiny and most likely expensive treasure. After some time, Astro was getting annoyed, he was fed up with your tricks and flirts.

He had never come around a girl like you, always getting away, never left with a scratch or a bruise. He envied you, and even sometimes wondered if your were even a real human.

Astro had made a pact to himself, he would make you change tonight. He had tried locking you up by being sneaky, forceful and any other way you could think of, but you managed to get out of his grasp with a wink of your eye. Tonight though...

He was going to make you join his side.

"Hey Toby!" Toby whipped his head around to see his friend group waving to him outside of the school. He saw you there, and then happily jogged over to them.

"Hey guys!" Toby waved. "What's up?" He smiled happily.

"We're all going to hang out tonight." One boy with a dark completion said.

"Yeah! We're all gonna hang out at the park." Toby frowned.

"Sorry guys, I can't come. I've got someone I'm going to meet with." He sighed sadly, like he wanted to tag along, but to be honest, what he was going to do was going to be be much more interesting than a trip to the park.

"Really Toby??" They groaned. "You and both (Y/N) never hang out with us after school!" One pointed out. You stiffened.

"What? I can't help it!" You shrugged, sweating. "I- uhm, I have someone that I need to meet with too!"

"Are you guys going out on secret dates?" Kennedy asked. "With each other??"

You glanced at Toby, could he be that Spider Boy? No.. He was too.. nerdy. But you made a mental note. You never know who the love of your life could be.

"No way!" You laughed. "No offence Toby, I'm sure you'd make a great hubby." You pat him on the shoulder. "But I'm on a date with destiny." You grinned. Toby felt sad, but also very hot. After all, you thought that he'd make a great husband! You both were in university, so you could actually get married! He placed his cold hands over his burning cheeks. He was just thinking nonsense now.

"Anyway guys! Talk tomorrow!!" Toby waved and ran away, before any of you could recognise his red face. You all looked at each other cofused.

"I wonder what his problem is." Kennedy asked. You shrugged.

"He's probably worried about his date."

"Spider boy~!" You waved at Astro from another building. Astro was starting to get used to the way you called him 'Spider Boy' He was always worried that it sounded dumb, but the way you playfully sang it at him made him love his own superhero name. "Over here hero! Ready to play cat and mouse?" You leaned on your side.

"I'm not here to chase you." Astro stood still, not having any emotion written on his face. You lifted a brow and frowned. You walked forward on your roof, getting ready to jump over to Astro's roof.

"Something the matter Superman?" You asked, leaping over to the roof he was on. You slid across the concrete and then came to a stop.

"I'm tired of your tricks, Cat." He sighed. the way he called you 'Cat' didn't feel like much of a nickname anymore.

"What?" You walked closer to him. "But we're partners in crime! I just do the crime part."

"Stop this Cat. You're an amazing women with very special talents. Yet you use it for stealing and taking." He turned around to face you, sadness stuck in his eyes.

"I use it to live, Spider." You lifted an eyebrow at him, stepping back.

"Join me." He said, reaching his hand out to you. "Tell me who you truly are and become a hero with me. You can do so many good things, I know you can."

You stepped back, starting to blush from his sudden act of kindness towards you. "Hero?" You glanced at his hand. "Sorry Spider, I don't swing that way."

"Then I'll help you swing that way." Astro stepped closer to you. "It's not easy to change, but I can help you Cat."

"I-.." You sighed. "It's tempting getting asked from a handsome boy like you..." Astro gulped. "Alright." You nodded. "But don't get your hopes up."

"Yes!" Astro shouted, picking you up and spinning you around. "You're amazing Cat!" He placed you down gently, you took a moment to processes that, you then felt your cheeks grow hot. "So then.." He inched closer to you. "Can I..?" He moved his hands up to your mask.

"A-Ahm.." You nodded slowly. "Just don't pass out from how good I look." You nervously flirted. He placed his hands on your mask and took it off.

"(Y/N)??" Astro gasped dropping your mask. Your eyes widened.

"You know who I am??" You dropped to the floor and picked up your mask placing it back on. "T-Then who are you!?" You asked, stepping back.

"I- Uhh. I can't tell you!" He shook his head and crossed his arms to make an X shape.

"That's no fair!" You walked closer to him as he backed off. "I show you mine you show me yours, that's the deal!"

"Uhm.. I- ahh..." Astro continued to shake his head no.

"You're just like every other boy I know!" You stepped back. "You can just forget about me being a 'good guy' now!" You hissed, turning around and running away. "How could I be so stupid??" You asked yourself, letting tears swell up in your eyes.

You sighed at the lunch table with your friends. "Come on (Y/N).. Tell us what's wrong." They pleaded.

"Let's just say my date with destiny didn't go all that well." You wore a new necklace (That you stole last night, along with many other thing) in shame as you held your head low. Toby came and sat down at the lunch table with all of you.

"Guy done you wrong?" Kennedy asked. You just nodded.

"After all that time we spent together! He just chickened out!" You sucked up the last bit of life out of your juice box before putting it down. "He got cold feet, just like that! If I see him again!I'm going to bust his knee caps!" Astro shivered and clutched onto his knees. "Well anyway, how are you Toby?" You asked, looking up and in front of him.

"A-Ah.. Good." He nodded, looking down at his food shyly.

"Something happen with your date too?" You questioned.

"Yeah.. I guess." He shrugged. "Well you see.. this girl.. she 'confessed' to me. But I was too dumb to actually know what to do. I'm pretty sure I made her cry too."

"Looks like we both got love problems." You sighed. Toby sweat dropped.

"Yeah."

'I need to tell her how I feel!' Toby thought to himself. 'I need to tell her who I am and I need to kiss her!' Well, that last 'need' was more of a want. Astro walked along side his friends and you. He clenched his fists and grabbed a hold of your wrist, stopping you from walking and making you jolt back. You looked up at him as he grabbed your face and made you kiss him.

"Mhpf!" You felt your heart melt into his lips as your surprised yelp turned into a moan of happiness. Toby pulled away and hugged you.

"I'm so sorry (Y/N). I was so scared and surprised at that moment. I just didn't know how to react. You, of all people, Black Cat.." He sighed and looked at you. "I-It's not that you being Black Cat is bad! It's just that you don't act a thing like her! I should have guessed. You both are so playful! I never have a boring day around the both of you. Who would have thought that the girl I love, is the girl I'm enemies with!" Toby stopped blabbering when he was faced with you crying. "Cat-?"

"We aren't enemies you stupid Spider!" You hugged him tightly. "We're partners in crime.." You sobbed on his shoulder. He hugged you back tightly, he felt so happy, like nothing in the world could ruin this moment. Nothing. "I love you Toby.."

"I love you too (Y/N)."
