"Astro!" You waved to your friend. He turned around and shon you a smile.

"Heya (Y/N)! You're early for school." He pointed out.

"Mhm!" You nodded and skipped to his desk. "I woke up a little early today and couldn't get back to sleep so I decided to get ready for school."

"Ah. I see." He nodded in understanding.

"So what do you usually do when you get to school early?" You asked, sitting on the robot boy's desk.

He tapped his chin for a moment and hummed. "I usually get all my things ready for class. But other times I might walk around the school. Maybe I'll help teachers with-"

"Let's walk around the school!" You smiled a bright, award-winning smile.

"S-Sure!" Astro nodded, his robotic heart squeezing tightly in his chest. You took his hand and pulled him up from his chair, he happily followed behind you with a bright grin.

"And I couldn't really get back to sleep after that." You shrugged your shoulders and placed your hands behind your back.

"Maybe next time you should try to clear your mind, or think about something simple, then you might be able to get back to sleep." Astro suggested, his red boots leaving prints in the fresh grass as you both walked.

"Yeah, that's a good idea. Say, do you think we should get back to class? The bell is ab-" Just as you were about to finish your sentence, what seemed to be an explosion hit right in front of you, sending you back into some rubble. The loud boom could be heard, then your sight went blurry and it was as if you kept fainting and waking back up multiple times. A shooting pain was felt throughout your back as bits of rocks pierced your skin. Most of your body was numb and limp, even if you tried to move, your body wouldn't let you.

As you tried to focus your blurry vision to figure out what was going on, you managed to grab a glimpse of a large green robot towering over Astro as they both stood in a fighting stance. That was all you saw before falling out of consciousness once again.

"(Y/N)!" Astro grabbed your shoulders and shook you a bit. After noticing that didn't wake you up, he looked over your body and pushed some heavy rocks off your legs and stomach. As he pushed one off your leg, he saw red liquid roll down to your socks. His eyes widened and his fingers brushed up against your leg, gathering the slimy substance on his fingers.

Your eyes slightly opened and focused on Astro, your vision was cloudy, but you could still see him looking at his hand, he was terrified at the blood rolling down the side of it. You tried to say his name, but you couldn't hear your own voice. Although, Astro must've heard you because he snapped out of his daydream and quickly picked you up. After that, you passed out once again.

You groaned and opened your eyes. Your body ached and a blinding light shone at you. You blinked a few times and moved your hand over your eyes to shield it from the light. "Mhp.." The blinding light calmed down and you pushed yourself upright so you were no longer sitting down.

"Astro, Astro! She's awake!" A small voice called out. You rubbed your eyes and looked to where the squeaky sound came from.

"Zoran...?" Your voice was croaky.

"She said my name! She remembers me!" Finally, you could see. Astro and Zoran were standing beside your bed and Reno, Abercrombie, and Alejo were asleep, leaning on the other side of your bed.

"Guys..!" You tried to move to wake them up, but once you saw your arm you paused. Astro noticed your worried stare.

"The explosion caused a lot of wounds, so we needed to bandage you up tightly. There are some on your legs too." He pointed to your legs, covered by a blanket.

"What happened, Astro?" You looked up at him with sore eyes. He frowned at you.

"Pluto attacked the school, he sent a rocket at me, but it hit you too." He rubbed the side of his arm. He felt bad for not protecting you enough. "You lost a lot of blood." He looked down to his hand that had your blood on it.

"I did?" You shifted uncomfortably. "Are you okay Astro?" You looked up at him, he looked stressed and probably needed some talking to.

Astro smiled sadly at you and looked down at his sibling. "Hey, Zoran? Give you give me and Y/N a minute together?" He requested.

"Okay! I'll tell Doctor that (Y/N) is alright." She skipped off and shut the door behind her. The room you were in was completely white, telling you that you were in a hospital.

"How long was I asleep for?" You asked, looking over at your human friends that slumped over your bed.

"A few weeks. Those goofballs came to visit you any chance they got, sometimes they would stay overnight. like they are now." He smiled softly at them. Reno was on a seat, slouching over the bed you were on and so was Kennedy. Eijiro and Abercrombie were in some visitor seats next to your bed. The sight of them there made you tear up. "They were all really worried about you. Me too, you know." You shakily reached over and grabbed Astro's hand.

"Sorry I made you worry." You squeezed his hand. "But I'm back now, I'm here." You smiled with closed eyes, letting burning tears flow over your cheeks. Astro leaned over the bed and hugged you tightly, holding hands wasn't going to cut it for him. His artificial tears stained your hair.

"I missed you! So much.." He sobbed.

"Don't cry Astro, I wasn't gone for that long. You should count those few days without me as a holiday." You chuckled. Astro shook his head no and pulled back from the hug, his hand gripping your shoulders.

"No, every day with you is a holiday." He placed his thumbs over your cheeks and wiped away the wetness.

"You're making me go red, Astro!" You looked away from his loving gaze. Your reaction only made him laugh.

"I'm so glad to have you back, you're already making me smile again." He hugged you once more, his cheek nuzzling against yours.

"Astro... Stop being so loud you'll wake up (Y/N)..." Reno stirred in his sleep and pushed himself off your bed to face him. The brunette rubbed his eyes and stared at you for a moment before realization hit him like a ton of bricks. "Y/N!" He practically yelled, jumping up to his feet. His loud voice began to wake the others. "You're okay! You're awake! And you're hugging Astro! You-You-!" He practically jumped onto your bed and pulled you into a hug, while also pushing Astro off you.

"Y-Yeah I'm okay!" You hugged him back, enjoying the embrace of your close friend.

"Y/N!!" Three other boys yelled, they all gripped the bars of your bed with wide eyes.

"Move over Reno! Save some for us!" Kennedy pushed Reno and pulled you into a hug that was joined by Alejo and then Abercrombie.

Astro pouted and shook his fist in the air. "Guys! You're going to crush her!" His words were enough to get the others from stop squeezing you, they let go and pulled away.

You let out a few coughs and then smiled. You had no idea what to say, you were just so happy and you felt so loved.

"When you get out of this bed we're going to get some ice-cream! Okay?" Abercrombie placed his hand on your leg. You nodded and wiped away more tears.

"O-Okay!" You smiled.

"Y/N! You're alright!" Doctor O'shay came in the room with a nurse and Zoran. "I'm glad." He came over, you felt so strange, all these people cared about you so much.

"How are you feeling?" The nurse asked.

"Fine, I feel fine." You smiled and nodded at her.

"Perfect, you'll be able to get out of the hospital in a week or so. And try not to move." The nurse smiled back at you.

"A week?" The boys frowned. "That's too long!" They whined.

"Be patient, don't you want (Y/N) to be healed before you play with of her again?" The nurse placed her hands on her hips like she was scolding the boys. They all grumbled to themselves. You grinned and chuckled.

"Don't worry guys. I'll be sure to try and get better soon!" You smiled your cute smile and clenched your fists. The others immediately grabbed the clothes that covered their chest.

'So bright-!' They all thought.

"Hey, are you guys okay?" You frowned. "You all look like you sucked on a lemon."

"We're fine, but make sure not to push yourself. Alright?" Astro placed his hand on your head.

"I won't!"

"Doctor O'shay?" Astro tugged on the taller male's coat.

"What is it Astro?" Doctor O'shay pressed a button on the elevator.

"I was wondering if I could get some upgrades that will help me during battle."
