Antonio's POV
(Few hours before the dinner)
I am in my office settling all the reports from the recent project that has just been finished.

"Mr. Harris, you have a guest waiting" My assistant informs through the intercom.

"Send them in, Ms. Dash" I continue packing up my desk.

I went back to the reports and I heard the door opened and saw my Ex-girlfriend, Rachel. Also one of the worst mistakes, I ever made in my life.

"What are you doing here, and what can I help you with?" I asked in a dangerously calm voice.

"I just wanted to talk to you about us" she helped herself into the chair in front of my desk.

"What is there to discuss and there is no us anymore" I said nonchalantly.

She rolled her eyes "I said I'm sorry what more do you want me to say I told you it was a mistake" Rachel raised her voice at me.

Now, this set me off, no one I mean no one raises their voice at me except for my little one that I had foolishly let go.

"Don't you ever in your pathetic life speak to me that way, how can you say it was a mistake you Rachel cheated on me with my so-called "friends" since the beginning of our relationship and please don't even get me started on the disgusting part of you unfaithfulness" She looked scared when I said the last part I stood up walking close to her in an intimidating manner.

"Did you think I didn't know about your plans, then again, I was a fool. I knew about your intentions but because I was blinded by the fake love and attention you gave me I ignored it all" I was ready to explode because I wanted to erase her like a bad memory from my head.

"Did that bitch Raven tell you?"Raven knew and she didn't tell me, I hurt her so why would she bother telling me.

"Don't call her that!" I said pissed off at the choice of colorful words she used to describe Raven.

"I loved you Rachel and that love has turned into full hatred" I sneered at her in disgust.

"A mistake you said? I let out a humorless laugh.

"A mistake is something that is done once and you feel guilt and regret, and what you did was nowhere close to a mistake because that mistake was repeatedly done for the past 10 years of our stupid so-called relationship" I moved close to Rachel's ear and said to her in a rough tone.

"I want you to get out of my office before I do something I don't think I'll ever regret and you know that I don't speak of empty threats" Her bright blue eyes widen like saucers.

"I will get you back and you will forgive me and we will be okay again, I promise you" She rushed out after her little speech.

I walked back to my seat and thought to myself
"I will have to talk to Raven at the dinner and hopefully she hears me out and forgives me" I voice out my thoughts.

I looked at the time to see that I was already late and called my assistant to tell her to take her to leave and I rushed out and jumped into my 2018 Lamborghini Huracan.

The only thing that ran through my mind was what I would do and say when I see my little one, hopefully everything goes well for me.
