Sun-Hi's POV.

I had to hurry.
They were after my mom.

There was a group in my way so I jumped on the railing with my skateboard and spun back down when I passed.

I didn't even stop for the red lights, I used my bo-staff to avoid cars last second.

"Eomma, eommaleul ilh-eul su eobseo"*¹ I kept on repeating over and over again.

It's to late

Their already there

You can't save her.

Why try to save someone who mistreated you?

I ignored them.

I was a few blocks away when I realized the ghosts were right;
fire.
No one could survive that type of fire.

Policeman and firefighters were already there.

"Eommaaa!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs with tears streaming down my cheeks as I leaped off my skateboard and dashed and faught my way through to get into the house.

I jumped to the left as the stairs collapsed and that's when I saw them amid the flames.

A firefighter with my mom's limp body in her hands.

"Eomma!!!" I coughed as the smoke began to get to me and my eyes watered as my limbs grew heavy.
"Eo... Mma... Eomma... Eommaleul... Ilh-... Eul... Su..."

I fell but was caught by strong arms.

I looked at the blurry face above me.
"... eobseo."

I blacked out.
