My leg finally healed completely so I texted Ian the news.

It didn't take long for him to answer with a phonecall.

How come he never wrote?

I accepted the call.

Sun-Hi: Annyeonghaseyo Ian oppa.

Ian: Annyeong Sun-Hi.
Is it fine then that you start work immediately?

Sun-Hi: eum...  Ne. I don't see why not.

A small grin crossed my face as I heard him speak that one word in Korean however informal.
(Annyeong is an informal way of saying hello I. Korean while annyeonghaseyo is formal. There are also other ways but I'm lazy so just pm me if you want to know them.)

Ian: Then step outside. Fabio is awaiting you.

Bwo!?
I just called now!
How did he know!?

I was about to say just that till he hung up on me.

"Pabo." I muttered under my breath.

I got my hair tied up properly; changed my ripped jeans to shorts because it was hot outside and rushed out while grabbing my cellphone.

I'm still grounded so no skateboard.

As I stepped into the limo I couldn't stop myself from turning slightly anxious.

Last time hadn't exactly gone well...

But as I took a seat and Fabio reeved up the engine I noticed Dick saying goodbye to Amy while holding her brother Alex on the doorstep of her house as she left.

What was he doing here on the poor side of town? Babysitting when he could just ask his dad for anything without going bankrupt.

As Fabio opened my door announcing our arrival I stepped out of the car with my eyes wide.

This place was amazing!

"This way please" Fabio snapped me out of my thoughts as he then started leading me up the spiral steps coated in flowers to the front door.

As the door open I gasped again as my mouth dropped open in an "O".

Before me was three flight of stairs; one slightly spiraled staircase starting from the left; another from the right and another in between the two that joined them together.

esending it's red carpeted steps with one hand on the intricate golden railing was Ian Decaroli.

"Good afternoon Sun-Hi" he greeted me as he desended the last step and elegantly held his hands behind his back as Fabio left with a nod from Ian.

"If you would follow me Sun-Hi" he said as he unfolded his hands from behind his back and went in the opposite direction Fabio had gone.

I quickly rushed up to him to catch up as I was still caught up in sight seeing.

It wasn't the first time I was in a place of similar wealth because heck I used to live in one; but after two years of living in a small house with only two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen and small living room I was hardly ever allowed in because it also worked as my mom's study and office; I would consider my reaction normal.

"This room" Ian pressed his hand against a door in another room he had lead me to which looked like an office.

"Is very special and important to me. You must tell no one about this room or of it's contents.
Am I clear?"

I nodded a bit taken aback as to why he was even going to show me it. "Yes sir"

He nodded back then opened the door revealing an entire collection of pictures of superheroes and villains as well as news clips, sometimes a weapon belonging to them.

How did he get them?
Superheroes weapons are barried with they're superhero unless they pass it on to someone else before death.

Then at the far end of the room there was a wall completely dedicated to Element filled with pictures of all she did and her personal life events all connected with different colored threads and pins.

Just below her picture was her bo-staff with a small picture of Gambit next to it.

Element' s bo-staff.
Nobody ever found it.
They had spent years searching for it but never found it.

"Element's bo-staff." Ian announced delicately taking it off the wall.

"Given to her by her genetic father Remy Etienne Le Beau, better known as Gambit.
She lost it in battle fighting Dark Saviour, the Joker and his goons.
She wasn't alone though.
Quick Silver, Gambit and Wolverine were there with her but couldn't save her in time.
She probably dropped it when she fell into the tank of acid.
Nobody ever found it because I took it before anyone else could.
Element's power was so great some of her energy still courses through this staff; some of it probably belongs to her father as he owned it first and kinetic energy is pretty strong.
I think I probably blacked out when I first touched it the strength was so great.
But in any case; this bo-staff will become yours after your first job."

He then placed it back on the wall and pressed a hand against my back, pushing of the room as he followed behind me.

As he locked the door I slightly jumped as I sensed a presence behind me.

I snapped around as Ian introduced.

But he didn't have to.
I already knew who this boy was far to well.
