Part 25
(A few days go by for Hilda. She awakes from slumber and stares at the ceiling thinking about the last few days)
Hilda: What am I going to do?
(She gets up off the bed and gets herself ready for work. She goes on ahead from the little house inside the castle and goes to perform her daily tasks. A person comes over to her. The head knight)
Knight: I looked into the man of what is called Claude deckard. Or was.
Hilda: what do you mean?
Knight: I found some more research about him...he's dead.
Hilda: What?
Knight: He died several days prior to what the man who claims to be Claude deckard is.
Hilda: do you know what he died from?
Knight: the village of Samadrys did some investigation on the detective. They declared him as having a heart condition for years. But then when the doctors examined him, they found out something else. They tested his corpse and turns out. It wasn't a heart condition. Its confirmed he was murdered.
Hilda: So the man with Tristan...that's an imposter.
Knight: Indeed.
Hilda: We must tell Tristan!
Knight: We do have the papers but I don't believe it's enough proof. Even so, his majesty will believe the papers are tampered with. Telling him would deem useless. Surely he won't listen.
Hilda: This sounds oddly peculiar. But I feel like I know that man. The imposter. I never seen him before but he sounds familiar.
Knight: Yeah. Me too.
Hilda: I don't know. Maybe it's just my imagination. But why would he kill the real Claude and claim himself as Claude?
Knight: I know not. But maybe this man is after something we don't know about.
Hilda: Yeah. Could be.
Knight: Be careful around that man, Miss Hilda. I don't trust him.
Hilda: Don't worry. I don't trust him either.
(Hilda goes to the downstairs dungeon to deliver the two men their daily breakfast for the day)
Hilda: Here you go.
(She attempts to leave but Man 1 stops her)
Man: The detective.
Hilda: What about him?
Man 2: You're growing suspicious of him aren't you?
Hilda: I'm not talking about it with you.
Man: We have something to say that is of use but it's only words its not proof.
Hilda: I'm not interested.
Man 2: Wanna know what he said?
Hilda: I don't know. I don't care.
Man: He came down here to the dungeon the other day and told us "its already taken care of"
Hilda: What does that mean?
Man 2: Beats me.
Hilda: Does it have something to do with your brother?
Man: I don't know but whatever he meant by that, it can't be good.
Hilda: Maybe it has something to do with the princess.
(She walks away from the dungeon and goes on over to do her daily chores distracting herself from all that is happening)
"I need to go out for some fresh air..."
(She heads on out of the castle. And goes outside of the castle gates to the outside of the village and walks to the forest by herself thinking for a minute. Her eagle vision comes on and she sees the colored footsteps)
"Huh?"
(She follows the footsteps to the grass and then a wooden floor landscape forest lake and then the footsteps disappear just like that)
"Not again. Why did you bring me here?"
(The headaches come back again. This time a lot more severe. Causing her to drop to the ground on her knees covering her temples from the steering pain of the headaches. She goes over to the floor and covers her ears too. Groaning in pain and hears a loud ringing sound. She lays her weak body on the ground and blinks...one...two...three...then everything goes black. She's unconscious)
(A dream sequence comes on in another village. The year is in the early 1800's instead of the present. What looks like the past)
Asyan: She's beautiful. Who is that?
Man: That's Hilda. Shes the daughter of the wealthy merchant.
Asyan: No kidding. Well she sure is something I'll give you that.
Man; I wouldn't do that if I were you, Asyan.
(Asyan has a bob haircut and wears his villager clothes. He is an attractive man in his mid twenties and stands over 6 feet tall)
Asyan: Why not?
Man: Shes taken by another man. Shes to be wed off by a prince from another village.
Asyan: Hmm...well I think I should take a chance, don't you?
Man: I dunno. (Asyan goes up to Hilda)
Asyan: My, my. I have never seen such a beautiful flower such as yourself.
(Hilda chuckles)
Hilda: Do I know you?
(The woman by the name of Hilda has curly brown hair and blue eyes she stood at five feet eight inches tall of regular body shape)
Asyan: Only in your dreams, mon cheri.
(She chuckles again)
Hilda: Funny. I don't see you in my dreams. I hardly know you.
Asyan: What do you say we walk and get to know each other?
Hilda: Apologies monsieur. But I'm taken.
Asyan: That's too bad. I wouldve made you my love if that werent the case.
Hilda: I don't know you.
Asyan: Then like I said. Let's take a walk?
Hilda: I have to get going. So nice meeting you.
*she begins to walk then turns back*
Hilda: I didn't get your name, good sire.
Asyan: Asyan. Asyan Willowdale at your service. (He bows)
Hilda: I'll see you, Asyan Willowdale.
(She smiles at him and walks away)
man: That was something Asyan.
Asyan: I think I got her reeled in.
Man: She seems interested but I don't know. Don't get your hopes up.
Asyan: She has my heart now.
Man: Shes taken. You can't go after someone taken. Both of you will be condemned to death.
Asyan: Would you quit talking law anatomy and be happy for me for once?
Man: I am happy for you, Asyan. I just think you're falling too madly in love right this second.
Asyan: Whatever. I love her already. She has taken my heart.
(Cue back to Hilda back to her soon to be wed husband)
Hilda: Hello, darling.
Prince: How was your time in town?
Hilda: It was good.
Prince: I have been keeping myself occupied. I tell you being a prince is alot of work.
Hilda: I can understand that.
Prince: I better get going then. See you for dinner tonight.
(Cue back to Asyan)
Man: Your work is far from over.
Asyan: I know. I've got to do something about that templar that's controlling our town.
Man: Ever since he came into power, everything in the village is limited. More strict.
Asyan: And whomever objects, someone is killed.
Man: Exactly. We got to something.
Asyan: When the time comes we will strike.
(Cue in the night. A knock at the small poor house of Asyan the house was made of non durable wood and the inside was very small only one bedroom, small kitchen, and a small family room. When he opens the door he sees its Hilda she comes inside with tears)
Asyan: What's the matter? You're crying.
Hilda: I'm sorry I didn't have anywhere else to go.
Asyan: come in. Before the guards see you out there and we get in trouble.
(He closes the door)
What happened?
(He sees one of her eyes briefly bruised) Did he hit you?
Hilda: No. It was an accident.
Asyan: That insulent pig.
(He tries to walk out the door but Hilda stops him)
Hilda: Where are you going?
Asyan: I'm gonna teach him how he should treat a lady.
Hilda: Don't go! If you do, my parents are gonna know I've snuck off to see someone else.
Asyan: You deserve better.
Hilda: Just stay here with me.
Asyan: Very well. You can sleep in my bed tonight. I'll grab the cot from the closet and set it up here.
(He leads her to the bedroom)
Just rest up here. In the morning, you're free to leave.
Hilda: You can stay in here.
Asyan: No. It's not appropriate.
Hilda: We won't do anything. Just sleep. That's it.
(He looks at her)
Asyan: Alright. Just sleep. That's all.
(A few hours goes by)
Hilda: Can't sleep?
Asyan: Not really. I'm used to staying up all night.
Hilda: I know the feeling.
Asyan: Hilda, maybe in the morning, maybe you shouldn't go back to him. Hes just gonna hurt you. Do you think he loves you?
Hilda: I don't think so. I don't have feelings for him. My parents chose him for me because hes rich. And I'm the daughter of a wealthy merchant.
Asyan: Arranged marriage huh?
Hilda: Yes.
Asyan: You deserve true love. Not someone to be chosen for you.
Hilda: I know.
Asyan: I wish you were mine. I wouldn't let anyone lay a finger on you if you were with me.
Hilda: You're gonna find someone worthy of you, someday, Asyan.
Asyan: I wish that someone is you.
Hilda: Because it's already the early hours of the morning, I'll take you up on that offer for a walk and to get to know each other better.
Asyan: settled. It's a date then.
Hilda: Well we better get some rest then.
Asyan: See you in the morning?
Hilda: See you in the morning.
