BAM

The victim sank to the floor.

The shock and fear forever etched on their face.

They slowly pulled their glasses from their face and clean the blood splattered lenses. Then they slide them back behind their ears and up their forhead, so their bangs were out of his eyes.

They walked a few steps closer to the corpse. They knelt down to one knee and pulled out a wallet from the victim's torn and tattered jacket.

They walked outside the old, broken down apartment building. They flip open the wallet and a smile crept across their lips.

Ive known Lieutenant Collins for about four years now. We were partners in crime, without his knowing of course!

I was his assistant, who knew exactly what had happened to every single victim. They were all murders, and im the serial killer.

Hello! My name is Mano! And I am a part time assassin, part time detective!

I became a detective for fun. I was actually fired three months ago, but lieutenant and I stayed close. We were friends that way, little did he know I was partially using him. And the whole time he couldve used me!

The answer was right in front of him, but it made no sound and he was blind.

Now, I say partially because he was my information import. Being a detective, we had secret files on just about everyone!
And being an assassin those files made my job a whole lot easier! Most of my 'victims' were criminals, so it was simple to get information on them. All I had to do was kill them! And id get extra money added to the pay of my actual job. Then I have to see my victims again, their pale faces gaping at me. I play dumb, of course. And have Lieutenant Collins figure it out, hes a smart man it usually doesnt take long. So many confused and innocent people have been executed... it brings me joy, to find my murders bring more death than expected.

But... a few days ago... Lieutenant Collins... he figured me out...
