3rd person POV:

In the dead of night, three figures hopped silently from rooftop to rooftop.

Gerald: Why are we doing this job given to us by a panda?

Hana: To be honest, this is just an excuse. We were set up in a trap to help someone's agenda when we're supposed to be learning.

Hana: I cannot speak for you, but I take offense to that. I require every bit of training I can get, to achieve my goal.

Hana: And anyone who dares to get in my way is in for a rude awakening.

Kora: Jeez, I wasn't expecting this type of response for not being taught something.

Gerald: This is foolish...

Kora: You want to give up? Go for it four eyes. More credit for us when we find out the chief's little secret.

Gerald: I do not give up.

Kora: Then stop complaining, she's over there.

In the shadows, they hid and pursued Era in secret, all the way to her home.

They watched her get ready for bed and quickly fall asleep in her bed.

Kora: That's it?

Hana: If she's in some kind of hurry, why would she simply fall asleep, and so quickly as well.

Gerald:... There's something wrong.

Hana/Kora:?

Without explaining, Gerald began focusing on the sleeping Era. Caressing his chin, Gerald closed his eyes and began thinking.

Kora:... Well? Not going to explain what's wrong?

Ignoring her, Gerald started to mutter to himself.

Gerald: I see...I see... This is most intriguing indeed.

Kora: What, is?

Gerald: With this new information, I reevaluate the situation and worth of the mission.

Hana: Good, have you figured something out.

Gerald: Our mission was to figure out what Era was hiding and or where the spirit king was hidden to clear our name, correct?

Hana: Yes, why?

Gerald: I believe I've solved the second half of our mission. Follow me.

(Opening theme)

Wandering through the forest to locate the king's opening to reason with the spirits, Paya brought up a good question.

Paya: What exactly is our plan, Yn?

Yn: We talk to the spirits.

He said as the panda who gave them their mission sat on his head.

Paya: You do realize that we don't understand what they are saying, right?

Yn: Oh... You don't?

Paya: No, only you understand them.

Vina: That's kinda weird seeing as only the people of Yurei village can do that...

Yn: Hmm... Maybe I'm from Yurei village? That would explain everything!

Paya: But wouldn't have someone recognize you? And I thought only people who complete the trial of the forest can understand spirits?

Vina: Yeah, that's what I meant...(hic)

Yn: Okay, things are getting complicated, let's put a pin in how I can talk to them and discuss what I'm going to say to them.

Yn: I was thinking we'd explain to them what happened.

Paya: But why would they believe us?

Yn:... You know... Your pessimistic view on things is really bumming me here.

Paya: I'm not being pessimistic, I'm asking serious questions I'd like answered, to be more reassured about the mission.

Vina: Hey, is that the place?

Pointing at a large hedge wall, Yn smiles.

Yn: Yeah, that's the place! Let's go!

Paya: This is going to end badly...

The three along with the panda, run-up towards the hedge wall, and poke their heads into it.

Inside the king's opening, they witnessed Bardoc chant, while a tree that sparkled purple sprouted out between the two rocks in the pond.

It quickly grew into a fully grown tree that had a single golden fruit start to grow on one of its branches.

Bardoc: Will those who desire to take the throne, come in.

Only one spirit entered the king's opening.

Bardoc:... It's only you?

Erika: Yes.

Bardoc: Strange.

Erika: The situation is strange. Let us proceed.

Bardoc:(sigh)... Very well.

In the hedges, the three students of the chicken discussed what they were going to do.

Yn:(whispers) Here's the plan, we go out there and shout stop. That should get us their attention.

...

...

...

Paya:(whispers) Then?

Yn:(whispers) Oh, that's all I got. I was planning to improvise the rest.

Paya:(whispers) What!?

Vina:(whispers) I love it. (hic) let's go.

Paya:(whispers) E-eh!?

Yn:(whispers) On my signal-

Panda:(whining noises)

Everyone:?

The baby panda the trio took with them, exited the hedge, and began making noises that got the attention of Bardoc and Erika.

Yn: Go go!

He exited the hedge with Vina and Paya following after.

Yn: Damn it... What's your name! Stay behind us, we'll guard you.

Panda;(panda noises) Raw, raw.

Bardoc:!?

Yn: Listen. We come in peace to discuss things. Mostly our innocence.

Bardoc: Silence!

Yn:!?

Bardoc: Shinji, continue.

Shinji: Rawr, Rawr, rawr. Rawr!

Paya:(whispers) What's he saying?

Yn:(whispers) I don't know. I don't speak panda.

Vina:(whispers) Can I open my rum?

Paya:(whispers) No.

Intensely, Bardoc listened to Shinji the baby panda's story. Erika slowly began moving behind Bardoc and closer to the fruit.

Bardoc:!

Bardoc: Erika, is this-

Erika kicked Bardoc towards the trio. The spirit lands on Yn, while the two girls instinctively take up a fighting stance.

Erika: I'm sorry Bardoc. But I require the fruit to protect the forest.

Bardoc speaks as he and Yn get on their feet.

Bardoc: This is treason! Are you aware of the consequences of doing this?!

Erika: I do. And I'll pay the price in full, but first I must protect what I swore I would.

Bardoc: No, stop!

She turns around to grab the fruit only to see a kunai spinning in the air towards her face. Erika jumps back onto land to avoid Yn's kunai.

Yn: Hey, red... Spirit dude. If we stop here, will we be cool?

Bardoc looked obviously confused at Yn's words, but simply nodded and said...

Bardoc: Y-yes... Just stop her from getting the fruit.

Yn: You heard him!

Paya: But we didn't understand what he said-

Yn: Attack her!

Paya: O-okay!

Vina: Whoa! Drinking time!

(Vs Erika theme)

Yn began using his key control to send his kunai flying around to cut her.

Paya rushed towards Erika as Vina opened a bottle of rum and began chugging it down.

Erika knocked Yn's kunai away with her long ribbon whip, just as Paya took out a short one-handed sword and lunged at her.

Getting in her face, Paya began swinging her blade at Erika who swiftly made some distance between herself and Paya.

Then using her ribbon, she kept Paya at a distance by swinging the ribbon, like a whip that when the trio saw how devastating the impact the ribbon made against the ground, knew to not get hit by it.

Paya threw several strips of paper in the air, then began making hand signs that made the symbols on the paper glow.

In a poof of smoke, the papers turned into bolts of thunder that striked Erika, knocking her back.

Vina began rushing towards Erika in a stumbling motion after she drank all her rum.

Erika, after recovering, swung her ribbon at Vina, who jumped, flipped, and slid past all the ribbon swings, getting herself close to her.

Vina spun around a full 360° to buildup momentum to roundhouse kick her. Erika grabbed a part of her ribbon and pulled it to create a bit of tension which she then moved to her side. Vina kicked the tense ribbon, and her leg bounced off it.

Using the bounce back, she spun around to try and hit her from her left side. Erika did the same as before and bounced away Vina's attack, but she continued to repeat the process several times.

This allowed Paya to get close while Yn provides support by sending his kunai flying towards her.

Erika: Ugh!

Bouncing away another of Vina's attacks while Paya went in to stab at her.

Erika made a loop with her ribbon which she let Paya put her hand through while she attempted to stab her. Using Paya's momentum, she spun around while tightening the loop around Paya's wrist, making it easier to pull her along.

She then tossed Paya into Vina, while twirling her ribbon around the two. Erika then snapped her ribbon, causing what part was around it to constrict and squeeze the two girls together.

Erika then caught Yn's kunai in her hands.

Yn: Well damn...

Paya and Vina struggled to get out of their ribbon bound, but the more they struggled the more it tightened.

Paya: Can't move...ribbon...getting tight....!

Vina:(muffled) Can't drink....boobs...in face!

Yn: Time to bust out the big guns.

Yn:(takes up fighting stance)

Yn: "Lethal Tiger!"

Flicking, her handle, Erika's ribbon grew back.

While attempting to approach her, Erika swung her ribbon which Yn punched away.

Yn could only knock the ribbon attack away, for, in his lethal tiger style, his movements were slow because the style was meant for close-range one on one combat.

Seeing as Erika was a mid to long-range fighter, Yn knew he had to do something else until he got close enough.

Erika:(mind) I need to get the fruit away from her.

She hopped to one of the boulders next to the tree that bore the golden fruit.

Yn: No you don't!

Spring towards Erika who was in the midst of grabbing the golden fruit which enticed her to bite into it.

Yn lunged towards her. Quickly turning around, Erika smacks Yn as he passes her.

(Poof)

(Splash)

Something fell in the water as she grabbed the fruit without looking.

Erika:... I bite wouldn't hurt.

She opens her mouth, coaxed into taking a bite by its beauty. 

Yn: Wait, no! This was a bad idea, abort, abort-!

(Bite)

Yn: GHAAAAAA!

(Poof)

(Splash)

After Erika took a bite from the golden fruit, it poofed into Yn, revealing when he jumped past her, he knocked the real fruit into the pond while he transformed to take its place.

After falling into the shallow end of the pond, Yn began rubbing his but cheek as Erika began spitting.

Erika: Pleh, pleh!

Yn: Agh! My ass, my magnificent ass! You bit my ass, you perverted hag!

Erika: You...scum...

While continuing to rub his butt, Erika in a fit of anger, wrapped her ribbon around his neck and pulled him towards her.

The back of Yn's head smacked into the side of the bolder she stood on with each time she pulled.

She then jumped into the pond to grab his head, and push it into the water.

Erika: Die!

Yn's lungs flooded with water, as his mind flooded with memories.

(In Yn's mind)

"Fast."

"Agile."

"And on the hunt."

"Like a wolf"

"This style's primary purpose isn't for combat. It's movement. Escaping and chasing, along with high speed on the move combat."

"This style, I call..."

"Hunting wolf"

(Reality)

(Swoosh)

Yn's kunai swooped towards Erika who leaped back, to avoid getting hit.

Getting his head out of the water. Yn's hair now hung loosely around his head, with his hairband coming off during the drowning.

Yn:...heh.

Yn: "Hunting Wolf!"

(Hunting wolf theme)

He took a low fighting stance.

Erika, who saw the golden fruit floating in the water, grabbed it and began escaping.

With his kunai floating by his side, Yn gave chase.

Using her ribbon, Erika swung and pulled herself between trees. Looking back, she saw how Yn leaped from branch to branch, flipping, and spinning along the way to taunt her.

Erika:(mind) I easily gave the boy several concussions, and I waterboarded him! How did that make him stronger!?

Yn: Hunting Wolf: Floating lily pad run!

Yn split his kunai in two and began flying them ahead of himself for him to use as stepping stones. Essentially running on air.

Erika:!?

Landing on top of Erika, Yn kicks her to the ground while pushing himself in the air in the process.

Yn: "Hunting Wolf: Dropping pounce kick!"

Using his kunai halves as steps, Yn pushes himself towards Erika, landing on her with a kick.

Erika:!!

Yn backflips off of her to avoid getting hit by her ribbon.

Yn: Oh shit, I've become a parkour master!

Looking back at Erika after taking a moment to admire his own skills, he finds her trying to escape. Once again he gives chase.

Yn: You can run all you want, but I'm gonna get you like the big bad wolf!

Erika: The big bad wolf gets cut open in the end.

Yn: He does!? God damnit! I was in the middle of that book! Thanks for spoiling it!

Erika: It's a children's story, how do you not know it!?

Yn: I have amnesia, you hoe!

Without thinking where she was going, Erika leaped out of the forest into Yurei village.

Erika:(mind) Oh no!

Connecting his kunai back together, Yn began spinning it quickly.

Yn: "Supersonic blade slash"!!

Throwing his rapidly spinning kunai at Erika who was in mid-air, she was left helpless as the kunai flew through her chest.

Erika:!?

(Poof)

In a dazzling explosion, Erika poofed into pure Chi energy.

Yn: Oh shit... Might have gone a little too far-

(Splash)

Forgetting he was in midair himself, Yn fell straight into the pond Yurei village had, while the Chi that made up Erika, floated towards the chief's house.

Yn:(shakes head to dry hair)

Yn: They should clean this more often.

Getting up, Yn heard the sounds of bowstrings being pulled back, looking around, he was surrounded by village guards, who, from their perspective, just killed a spirit that Yurei villagers swore to protect.

Yn: Whoa, whoa, wait! It's not what- well it kinda is, but you are all missing a great amount of context!

Guard Captain: Ready...!

Yn: No, wait, wait!!

Guard Captain: Fire!

Covering his head and ducking, Yn waited for the arrows coming from every direction to pierce him, but instead, he heard the sounds of wood being snapped.

All the guards lowered their weapons as Yn opened his eyes to see another spirit.

Aneku: Hey man, you okay?

(Spirit Princess: Aneku)

Yn: Panda girl!? You're...a panda girl!?

Aneku: Sorry for tricking you. I saw how you reacted to spirit at first, thought the other for would help calm you down.

Yn: Cool... Now, what about these guards?

Aneku: Chillax, the big man is going to handle this.

Yn: Big man?

A long flying tiger came flying out of the forest and began floating above the village.

(Spirit king: Acta)

Acta: Humans! I have woken up from my nap too...

Acta: Toooo....?

Aneku: Deal with the traitoring hoe.

Acta: To deal with the traitoring hoe!

Acta: Who's that?

Aneku: The chief.

Acta: Yes, I remember now!

Flying towards the chief's house, Acta reaches in and pulls her out. Meanwhile, Bardoc, Shinji, and the rest of Yn's classmates arrive.

Yn: Okay, I'm a bit confused.

Gerald: Then allow me to explain. Era has been projecting her Chi out of her body, to masquerade herself as a spirit.

Gerald: She made the mistake of doing so in front of me. I was able to see her move the Chi to create her spirit form.

Kora: The bitch then led us straight to the real area where the trial of the forest is actually supposed to take place.

Hana: That's where she hid the spirit king and Aneku, who was able to speak our language and confirm our suspicion.

Yn: So Era is Erika?

Aneku: Dude, it's kinda obvious. All she did was add "ik" to her name.

Yn: Did you know about this?

Aneku: Eh... A little.

Yn: Huh...

Era: Wait, spirit king, let me explain!

They all turned to the spirit king who had Era wrapped around his tail.

Acta: Nah. You're hereby banished from this place. Seeya sucker!

Era: Wait you need to know about-AAAAAAAHHHHHH it!

The spirit king throws her out of the village far into the forest.

Yn: Whoa...

Aneku: Bro, I'd like to thank you for helping us out. If it weren't for she'd probably had gotten away with the fruit... Are you okay?

Yn:(nods)

Aneku looks around him to see blood pouring from his head.

Aneku: You're head is bleeding.

Yn:(nods)

Gerald: I believe he needs medical attention.

Yn:(nods)

Aneku: I gotcha' dude.

Picking Yn up, she carries him away as he finally passes out from blood loss after the adrenaline wared off.

Bulma walks out of the hot spring to see this mess. She immediately goes back in.

(Later that night)

Era crawls through the forest, heavily hurt and low on Chi.

A person in a skin-tight red and white assassin costume then walked out of the shadows and flipped her on her back. This assassin then stood on Era.

(Thirteen)

Thirteen: You have failed.

Era: I... If only you people gave me more time...

The red and white killer then took out the Golden fruit which Era dropped as Erika when Yn knocked her to the ground.

Thirteen: Your failure however has produced something useful. Now loose ends must be tied up.

Era:(coughing)... If you're going to kill me, at least... At least tell me who it was that revealed the location of my village.

Thirteen:... From what I know. It was Kira.

Thirteen: Do not worry. We have no more reason to go after Yurei village.

Era: That's-

(Shink)

Thirteen stabbed her weapon through  Era's head and left with the golden fruit.

(Ending theme)
