3rd person POV:

In the Zeiro/Kira residence, the ladder was hard at work writing a training regiment for Yn that he plans on giving to Ran.

While he sat, Yn came up behind him and looked at his hair.

Yn:.....(pulls out kunai)

Kira:?

Kira:(sigh)...what?

Yn: How about we cut your hair? That way, we don't look so alike and people won't confuse us.

Kira: If that's what you are concerned about, we'll be fine if as long as you keep your hair tied up.

Yn: Are you sure you don't want a haircut.

Kira: My hair is the perfect height.

Yn: Perfect height?

Kira: Long enough to hide my features so I'm not noticeable, short enough to not get in my way.

Yn: Hm... Are you sure you don't want a haircut?

Kira: Why don't you give yourself a haircut?

Yn: No way.

Kira: Then this conversation is over.

Yn; Fine...(puts kunai away)

(Shakes)

Yn:?

His eyes lay upon the Mao-Muhon, which was leaning against Kira and shaking on its own.

Mao-Muhon:(whispering)

Yn: Huh?

Kira: Ignore it.

Yn: Ignore what?

Kira: The blade.

Yn: Why? Is it trying to take control of my mind?

Kira: No. It's simply acting like a child, which you are not ready to handle.

Yn:... Am I not ready for a child or the sword?

Kira: The sword... But looking at you, a child is out of your league as well.

Yn:.......(pulls out kunai)

(Snip)

Kira:(slowly turns head)

Yn:(smug look) You're not old enough to decide when you need a haircut.

Kira:(glare)

Yn:(stare)

After hearing a loud commotion from Yn's and Kira's apartment, she entered to find the ladder chasing Yn.

Yn: Can't you take a joke mister grumpy!?

Kira: I will put you in your place and discipline you!

Ran:.....(shurikens land next to her)

Ran:(slowly close door)

Ran:(sigh)

Ran: The world's greatest assassin...chasing himself around his apartment... Life is strange.

(School)

The chickens were in the classroom along with Mai and Heero, the other roosters currently doing a hundred laps around the school after Kira heard them complaining about being in the same class as the Chickens again.

Kira made sure to count their laps from the class window.

Kora:... I don't get it.

Paya: Get what?

Kora: Those two are identical twins, but Kira is handsome.

Yn:!?

Yn: Whoa, whoa! How is he better looking than me!? At worst we are equal.

Kora: Hmm...no... He looks better. Has this bad boy vibe to boot.

Yn: Can you believe this!? You're the ugly one, right.

Kira: I don't care.

Yn: Guys?

Paya:... I think it's the hair.

Yn: Come on!

Yn:... Mai?

Mai:?

Yn:(pleading eyes)

Mai:.....

Hana: Well?

Mai: They are identical. It's only the style that's different.

Kora: And that one's in more shape.

Yn: We're equally in shape, see?

He lifts his shirt and Kira's shirt to reveal he was wrong.

Yn: Huh?

Yn: Eeemmmm.....

Yn: I'm thinner too!?

Yn: This...this is just bullshit! How are you in more in shape than me?!

Kira: Have you been doing a daily exercise routine?

Yn: I'm supposed to exercise daily!?

Kira:...

Yn:.... Don't make a daily exercise routine.

Kira:... Too late.

Yn: Ugh! This sucks!

Feeling like a fool, Yn takes a seat and buries his face into his arms.

Mai:.....

Walking up to Yn, she couches to his level.

(Tap, tap)

Yn: Hm?

Mai: I've noticed an advertisement for some kind of film called "Dead or Alive: Reborn".

Mai: It had pictures of strong-looking fighters. Do you know anything about it?

Yn: Dead or Alive: Reborn?

Yn: Yeah, that's a sequel to the Dead or Alive 5: Passion never-ending.

Yn: It's like a soft reboot or something.

Mai: What's it about?

Yn: Martial artists enter a fighting tournament that takes them across the world to fight in the name of their home.

Yn: First movie is a state tournament, the second a country tournament. The third is a continental, fourth and fifth world tournament.

Yn: It's actually really good. You...you want to go watch it?

Mai: Very well. It might be educational if martial arts are involved.

Yn: I think it is. Most of my homebrew techniques are inspired by those movies. I've even reworked some of my remembered techniques based on movies.

Kira:(glares) You've what?

Yn: I mean... Let's all go to the movies?

Heero:... Very well.

Hana:!?

Heero: This will be a good opportunity to get into your mindset, for the next time we battle.

Yn: I'm going to ignore that last bit.

Hana: I guess I'll come along as well if those two are going.

Paya: This could be fun.

Kora: Why not.

Gerald: I have nothing better to do sadly...

Vina: Well, I'm drunk enough to do it. Let's go!

Yn: Then it's settled! We head out after class!

Kira:.....

After class ended for the day, Yn and the others who agreed to come, set off towards the nearest movie theater.

Yn: You know, this actually feels like a normal activity.

Gerald: Perhaps, because it is?

Yn: What I meant is, that I never thought all of us would be doing something like this together.

Kora: Believe it or not, we actually like to take breaks every now and again.

Yn: You all are such try hards, so it was hard to believe.

Yn:?

Mai: What is it?

Yn:... Nothing. Let's go!

Arriving at the theater and buying the tickets, the gang found that it was quite booked.

They couldn't get many seats together, so they were mostly scattered around the place.

Yn was disappointed since he and Mai had only one seat separating them.

But with the person in that seat not arriving as the movie soon started, Yn decided to switch seats to sit next to the beautiful Mai.

Yn:(innocent whistling)

Mai:(rolls eyes)

Mai:(small smile)

As the movie began to start, Yn performed the oldest trick in the book and performed the yawning arm stretch to try and wrap his arm over Mai's shoulder.

Sadly he was unable to finish the technique, as someone grabbed his arm, and pulled him onto the seat Yn bought a ticket for.

Yn:!?

Mai:?

Kira: Stay in your seat.

Yn/Mai:!?

In a purple hoodie and an umbrella by his side, Kira took a seat between the two.

(Kira: casual city wear)

Yn: What are you doing here!?

"SHHHHHH"

Yn: S-sorry...

Yn:(whispers) Why are you here?

Kira:(whispers) I wanted to know what kind of nonsense captures the attention of my amnesiac self.

Yn:(whispers) You mean-

Kira:(whispers) I know she knows.

Mai:!?

Yn:(whispers) You've been spying on me haven't you?

Kira:(whispers) Of course I have. Like I'd leave you to your own devices if I could help it.

Yn:(whispers) You...

Mai:(whispers) Let us enjoy the movie.

Yn:(whispers)... You're right.

Yn:(mind) I can't believe I got cocked blocked by myself!

With no other choice, he got lost in the movie, as did everyone who came along with him.

The film was about a new set of characters related to the previous cast of characters from the past 5 movies of the franchise.

They were forced to compete after the main character's little brother was kidnapped.

It was obvious that the story came second. By no means was it bad, or didn't make someone feel something, but the action was the thing that far surpassed the story.

With creative fights, great stunts, and clever moves, it made the young assassins rethink their thoughts about movies.

Exiting the theater once the film was over, the gang was pleased.

After buying ice cream, Yn began chatting with the gang, asking them about what they thought of the film.

Yn: I hope to all see you during the sequel.

Mai: You win, Yn. These movies of yours are entering. I'll happily come to watch the next one.

Yn: Well... There are five other movies before that one. Maybe...we could get together and watch them?

Kira: As a group?

Yn:....................

Yn: Yeah...

Mai: Perhaps another time.

Hana: We should get going. It's getting late.

With the others leaving, Yn and Kira were left alone.

Yn:.....

Kira:...

Yn: Ice Cream?

He offers.

Kira:... No thank you.

Yn: So you're satisfied with just getting between me and Mai.

Kira: That was my spot. You can't complain.

Yn: Can too!

Yn: You were left at the school when we went to the movies. And when we bought the tickets and we're choosing our seats, we were shown, which seats were already taken.

Yn: That seat between me and hers was already taken, I know that as a fact.

Yn: You couldn't have bought it in advance, because there is no way you could have known we were sitting there.

Kira: Whatever it is you are accusing me of, is entirely dependent on me wanting to get in between you two.

Yn: If you didn't care if we got close, then why did you drag me away, instead of just taking the spot next to me?

Kira: Because that was my spot.

Yn: How did you get it?

Kira: Not important.

Yn: Did you hurt someone?

Kira: Not physically.

Yn:...

Yn: Just to be clear. You getting in between me and Mai wasn't about you trying to do something.

Yn: It was just you, being a little bit stingy and wanting that seat?

Kira: Yes.

Yn: You're not lying?

Kira: Have I ever lied to you?

Yn:... No.

Kira: There you have it.

Taking his ice cream, Kira walks past him, before stopping.

Kira: Yn...

Yn: Did you just steal my ice cream?

Kira: Love is something you should abandon. It can and will be used against you.

Yn: Speaking from experience? Did I once fall in love with someone who broke my heart?

Kira: No... You made others fall in love with you, so you could easily kill them.

Yn:!?

He tosses the ice cream into the trash.

Kira; Make sure the reverse doesn't happen to you.

Kira: As they say..."karma, is a bitch".

Vanishing into the crowd, Yn was left to think with this new information about his past.
