"(Y/n)! Wait up, lass!" Edward yelled from his ship.

"What is it now Kenway?" You yelled back.

"So I can't walk around with you?" He asked running up to you.

"Oh. Sure you can, I guess. I don't do much though." You shrugged.

"I bet I can cope with things you do." He challenged.

"Is that so.....?" You asked him with a pinch of laughter.

"Bring it on." He snickered.

"So you think you could beat me through the jungle and up to that cliff?"

"I 'think' so, (y/n)." He mocked you.

You sighed and wrapped your bandana around your head and took off your sword, throwing it to one of the crew members.

"Lets go then, Captain." You said, taking off in a cloud of dust.

But he was on your tail and catching up quickly.

You both ran through the town and soon made it to the entrance of the jungle.

You grabbed a vine as you ran and swung up onto the trees and continued from there.

Soon both of you made it to a cliff, but it was easy to get across.

You jumped into a pile of leaves and crawled out right when he passed.

"How can someone run that fast with so much weapons?" You asked him when you met his speed.

"Easy, lass. You have to be a male to do it, though." He teased.

Oh he didn't just say that. Your mind growled.

Your (e/c) eyes narrowed at him and you sped faster.

"Yes, true. But males can be clumsy if they don't watch where their going." You mocked him, kicking a stray root in front of him, making him fall face first.

"Only females can go faster." You finished as you ran, leaving him in the dust.

When you made it to the mountain Edward was gaining up and you began to climb fast.

You were halfway up until your foot slipped, making you loose your balance and fall.

You didn't scream. Your didn't want to show fear. You only closed you eyes and waited, but it never came.

Only one arm caught you and held you tight.

"Yet girls can be clumsy at times to." Edward chuckled.

"Your an idiot." You muttered, opening your eyes and crossing your arms.

He only shook his head and slung you over his shoulder gently and climbed with incredible speed.

When he reached the top he laid you in the grass and laid next to you.

"Thanks." Was all you said.

"Don't mention it, lass. It just proves my point."

"What point?"

"It doesn't matter."

You muttered something and turned your back from him, trying not to make contact with him.

"It's a tie then." Edward sighed, turning himself your way and pulling you against him.

"Sure." You said, giving in to his embrace.

It's always a tie. But that doesn't mean you don't find some way to get your prize.
