You sighed as you sat on a tower, looking at what you thought the town of Jerusalem. Due to your vision loss, Al Mualim (i dont think I got that right) has sent you to stay with Malik. You were stepped down from master assassin and rarely got to feel your friend Altaïr's presence anymore. You sighed as you leaned back on your hands. You felt someone behind you and your muscles tensed, but when two rough hands placed themselves onto your shoulders and rubbed them soothingly, you sighed and leaned into the mans chest. "(Y/n), are you alright?" Altaïr's voice rang. "I'm fine, Altaïr. Really. Imp'm just thinking.....I never see-er-sense you anymore." You said, correcting your mistake. Altaïr let out a rare chuckle before wrapping his arms around your neck and you hummed a small tune. You wished it never would end, but sadly, it had to. He had to go for his mission and you were left alone once again. Your loneliness didn't last long, however. Malik came up and kept you company while the sun set across the sky, which you would never be able to see ever again.

(I'm gonna go to Altaïr's P.O.V. So it's more descriptive. But only for this one!)

Altaïr's P.O.V.

I quickly assassinated my target and ran the feather across his neck, obtaining his blood and I then ran off the the bureau. When I got there, Malik was walking down the stairs that led to the roof. "Hurry up and spend those last few moments of sunset with her as you can. I'll take it from here." Malik said, snatching the feather from my grasp. I shrugged and walked up the steps to see the rays of sunlight shining into (y/n)'s dull (e/c) eyes. They used to be so beautiful until Robert had to singe her eyes. I'll make that bastard pay..... I sat next to her and grabbed her hands, making her turn towards me. "Altaïr? Is something wrong?" She asked, blinking her eyes. "It's my fault that you're blind. Why don't you hate me for it?" I asked, my grip tightening around her hands. "Alty, it's not your fault. It's mine. I wasn't careful...." She trailed off, tears beginning to show from her blind eyes. "No, (y/n) don't cry please..." I said, not sure what to do. I've seen her cry, and every time she does I get a major soft spot for her. She just couldn't stop. "(Y-y/n), p-please dont c-cry......it'll make m-me cry to...." I stammered, feeling my own tears. "I'll never be able to see your face again." She cried. That got me. I pulled her in my arms and we both cried, I even took off my hood. "(Y/n) I don't want you to feel sad. Please don't cry!" I sniffed, wiping my eyes. She still wouldn't stop and she wailed silently like a child. "I should've killed him when I had the chance! I hesitated! I deserved this...." She sobbed. "No you didn't! Thanks to that idiot I can never see that innocent sparkle in your eyes that made me fall in love with you anymore!" I argued. My eyes widened and I covered my mouth, a blush creeping up on mine and (y/n)'s face. "You l-loved me?" She whispered. "With all my heart, (y/n)." I pressed my forehead against hers. "All of it."

Yeah, I know it's short, but hopefully you guys will understand if you read ZeroKiryu123 's comment and my reply on 'Rain' (the one-shot before this one) I am sorry if it's short. My brain feels like BEN hacked it and took all my ideas away.
